I’m a huge fan of Athens and used to eat there all the time when they were at the mall. Visited the new location today and ordered three spicy chicken gyros. Two with fries and one with hummus. Everything was delicious, but I think we got a regular chicken gyros because they were not spicy at all. The food was still amazing and I definitely recommend eating here and will be back!

I am overjoyed they are open again, and in their own location!!! Fantastic place to get a fair priced bite to eat! The perfect blend of healthy and delicious! Been frequenting Athens since they were in the mall. Support this local business and have a happy belly when your done! 🤩

I came in with my kids and I got a chicken shawarma meal and a kids a kids meal. The food was great, cooked fresh to order. I love the skinny fries with the pepper seasoning. The portions were big and everyone enjoyed their meal. It’s nice to have a halal restaurant in the area, service was great, very kind people!

Food was really good, however there were two things preventing a five star. The gyro bread was tough at times(either over cooked or had been dry too long) and the meat at times was tough to bite into, possibly the same issues on my opinion. HOWEVER it was a delicious classic gyro. Most of the gyro was tender and exactly what I wanted. Overall I had a wonderful experience, and highly recommend this place, especially the spicy garlic sauce. Judging by the gyro, this place has been slept on for all you shawarma fans. This is better than Meddy's. Good work gentlemen.

For those who didn't know, Athens from the mall food court has reopened up as their own establishment on Central Ave. I would say the food is even better quality and there are more options available than when it was in the mall. The food is still prepared fresh after ordering, and I ended up getting the chicken shawarma, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, and the veggies inside were fresh and crisp, and that garlic sauce just made it perfect. I'd definitely recommend trying them out!

Food is amazing . Taste fresh . Love the sauces. Friendly staff as well . The fries are crispy too! It’s a must try !

I got the big feta gyro. It was decent size but not as big as I thought it would be. It was hot and delicious. Had black olives on it, which I have no problem with yet. I know some people do. It didn't need them. It meeded more tzatziki and feta. 10$ I thought was a little steep for just a gyro. 8$ with a drink, and I'd have been super happy with that. Overall, it's really solid, but I make a mean one at home, and it's a lot cheaper, so not somewhere I'll be frequenting much.

Their spicy chicken gyro is amazing, not only in the flavor but the tenderness as well. I have never had chicken as tender as this before. Highly recommend!

First time ordering, and last time ordering. I ordered the lamb & beef plate. The mean was very thin, cold and dry. All I could taste in the hummus was cumin. Don't know what kind of olives were on the salad, but they weren't Greek kalamata. The salad dressing was SWEET!?! The tzatziki sauce was a joke. It was made with sour cream and not yogurt. The container was tiny, and on top of that, they only filled it up half way. The baklava was horrible. Tasted so stale and absolutely no flavor. The 5-star rating confounds me. I do not recommend this place at all.

From out of town and we decided we wanted classic gyros for lunch and chose this because that's what they do: gyros. :) We were not disappointed. Classic, fresh, and tasty. Kiddo got chicken fingers, and was content with his meal too. Would return again without hesitation.

This place should be packed! I had the spicy chicken gyro, my husband had the classic gyro, and we split the feta fries. Everything was so hot and fresh, absolutely delicious, service was kind and fast, and we will be coming here regularly! Their dipping sauces are to die for, I cannot recommend Athens Gyros Express enough!

I placed an online order and got the spicy chicken gyro with hummus and also an order of feta fries to go( French fry lover 🖐). It did not take them long to make it. The chicken was moist and very flavorful! The fries were fresh and crispy. The hummus was gone within a short time. The Gyro was huge so I only ate half of it. Absolutely loved it. Thank you for an awesome experience.

The best Gyros around! And.. they have Baklava! Prices are good!

I ordered pickup on Uber. They forgot one of my kids meals and I'm happy I checked. The lady apologized and offered me a free drink for the inconvenience. The gyro sauce is bland but the fries and rest of the food is well seasoned and great.
