Excellent staff! Very sweet and communicative. Food was not very good. I am usually one to dine at higher end, more expensive restaurants, but $15 for a sandwich is not worth it here. Sides were also not so good. Everything had an aftertaste for a long time. I also saw the kids meals were $8.50, even for a PB&J. That's insane. It is a sit down restaurant with a bar. I feel like for a sandwich shop it should be an easier to-go establishment as well. Awkward to get to-go orders.

Most definitely not worth the money. All sides are ala carte and you can make a better sandwich at home and spend a lot less money and it will taste just as good or better. Will not go back and do not recommend it to anyone.

IEveryone that knows me, knows that I am a sandwich girl. I love love my sandwiches...lol. We went to try out the newly opened RedBird tonight and it was A-MAY-ZING!! Hands down best sandwiches in town. If you like Ruebens...this is the best one you will EVER have!! Guarentee. It's called Cardinal. OMG melt in your mouth deliciousness. Favorite of the night. I had the California Quail (Turkey) and yummmm. So So So Good. But that Pasta Elote was Fire. The drinks were on point as well. If you like spicey...try the Phoenix from the Ashes. The Ginger Bird was great to if you like Mules!! Everything we had was above average. We will definitely be back to try the The grilled Salmon sandwich (Golden pheasant) which I heard was phenomenal. and the ITALIAN (Sparrow) next. Check them out, promise you won't be disappointed. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

I ordered the Cuban, which was grilled to perfection with great flavor. My daughter ordered the pb&j which was on homemade bread, and she finished the whole thing. I can’t wait to try some of the other sandwiches here!

The staff is awesome, the food is terrific, the atmosphere is nicely designed. I had the Meadowlark, which was very good. I’m headed back for the Cardinal though. Wedge Fries were fantastic.

Absolute terrific spot for lunch or dinner. Beautiful interior with very specific attention to detail. Excited to see the front patio open this summer.

Absolutely excellent. I had an Unladen Swallow cocktail that was perfectly balanced and a joy to anyone who loves tropical drinks. Our table shared the sausage dip which is more subtle and multi-faceted than the name implies. The pretzel bread was delightful and the sauerkraut was mild and delicious. I had the Pelican sandwich which featured fried Mortadella, Zapps Voodoo chips, an over-easy fried egg, mustard aoli and American chee on sprouted wheat bread. It sounds like a lot but it was sublime. My wife had the salmon sammy and it was a beautiful example of how the simplicity of a sandwich can allude to a complex and deep understanding of the human palate. The food was delicious and the space was open and well designed for a nice flow. The service was friendly and the ticket time was short. To have this kind of balanced and enjoyable experience in a restaurant’s opening week feels special and promising. Give it a try and support local
