My wife and I were on the West Side today and stopped in for the first time. The girl working the front, I believe her name is Kristie, was very casual and friendly. The bar and dining areas were very clean and welcoming. Even the bathroom was clean...refreshing to see in a bar/grill. I ordered the Reuben with jalapenos and fries and my wife ordered the BLT and fries. The plates arrived and I was VERY pleased with the portion and presentation. Hey Chef, you knocked it out of the park. Also, they chop their fries in the store. Another surprise, yea!!! The sandwiches (I had to assist my wife with 1/2 of her BLT - rough but someone had to do it) were phenomenal and the fries were absolutely a dream come true and reminiscent of days gone by. WOW! Any time I am in Wichita on the West Side, I willingly accept my American responsibility of getting great food from here. Thank you, Thank you!

My club sandwich was really good, the potato salad was excellent. Drinks were delicious, pool is free, even met some new people. The staff was very good, attentive without being annoying and very sweet. We did have one complaint when my girls baked potato was undercooked enough to be crunchy but the waitress didnt bat an eye and replaced it to go for us. So even my one slightly negative about the kitchen was quickly turned into a plus by the waitress. The second potato was much better. Good spot, I even like the style of the menus... will be back I'm sure.

Bartender was rude. Had to wait over 5 minutes to order a drink as she walked by me several times without even acknowledging me. When she did it was "what do want" never a thank you or anything that resembled appreciation for spending my time and money in this establishment. I would never spend another dime here or recommend anyone else to do the same.

If I could review zero stars, I would have done that. The service was slow and lack luster at best. The cook, Christian, is a complete joke of a cook. My burger had two items, he forgot one of them. When I requested the onions he sent out a plate with 3 onion bits scraped off the bottom of a pan. Complete incompetence, a real skill for making soggy flavorless food, and a tendency toward passive aggressive when he is called out for not knowing how to cook or count to two. To management, want to keep customers? I would start by firing Christian and go from there.

Yesterday my friend and I went for the happy hour and half off burgers. I ordered the Bleu's Burger with fries. wow! this was exactly what I needed! one of the best burgers I've ever had. I can't say enough about my dinner. The service was fast, our drinks were delicious. I had coconut rum with Dr pepper and cherry. Shelby was our waitress, she's fast and friendly. To our surprise it was bingo night. I never win anything!! I won a game of bingo. Overall the evening exceeded expectations! Great atmosphere, fantastic service, amazing food and delicious drinks. Can't wait to come back!

We just recently started going in to Walt’s. We live right down the street! We love the new updates. We have a great time playing pool, and the food is absolutely delicious! Chicken fried steak is a personal favorite. The service has been awesome, and we love Shelby!

Great Service! Great atmosphere! Great food! Our server Dawn was prompt with greeting us and taking our order. Very laid back sports bar that makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Stopped in for 1/2 price burgers and left very satisfied. Patty melt was a very good decision! Delicious!

Was a great place to grab a good meal with my niece. Well easily visible that they are settling in with new staff and new equipment; everyone was friendly and welcoming. Had some nice happy hour deals and my steak dinner was excellent. Definitely will go again

It is an ideal place for a small group but not good for conversation, the music is very loud and overpowering. The waitresses are kind and attentive but, can easily get overwhelmed when it's busy. The karaoke is fun, sound system okay not professional. Food, I had the fried veggies was good😊 but, it did take about 20 mins to receive it.

I sat down at the table with my friends. The server did not even ask me if I wanted a drink. It appeared that only 1 person was working. It was St. Patrick’s day. I can understand being overwhelmed. No one told us that they were having problems so it’s hard for me to feel bad about being annoyed. There was no politeness, no energy, I did not feel welcome at all. They messed up a $10 plate of nachos (looks like a weird refried bean salad) and never fixed it. After being told they did take it off. My friend had 2 bottled beers in over 2 hours in a non-crowded bar on St. Patrick’s day. So that should tell ya what our experience was like.

Best burger in my entire life oh my goodness. I’ve had good burgers but Walt’s burgers made by kristina were one of the best burgers ever. You won’t regret coming down here. I should have taken a photo before i devoured it.(P.S fries were also delicious) 10/10 will be coming back.

We were eating here for the first time since their remodel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was good & reasonably priced. I had the All American club & my husband had a bacon cheeseburger.

Music tonight was amazing! Ambiance was good. Server was nice, but seemed overwhelmed. Forgot beer. Cocktail tasted like juice and water. Burger was missing cheese, sauce, and bacon. Grilled chicken salad came out as a tiny side salad with no chicken. Bigger salad came a few minutes later. Fries were underdone and lukewarm. Maybe they just need some more help?? **Update: We gave it a second try Jan 2023. Once again, music was phenomenal. Place was packed and crowded, but only two wait staff as far as we could tell. They were overwhelmed, so we tried to be patient. When they finally got our drink order, I told her we were ready to order food as well, thinking we'd be efficient. She said "You gotta wait. There are people who have been here a lot longer than you." Reminded the waitress we hadn't received a beer yet after waiting 15+ minutes and she responded "I know." Mashed potatoes were cold. Chicken fried steak was chewy and overdone. Texas toast was burnt to the point that was all I could smell. When we went to pay, the waitress "accidentally" pushed the 20% tip option herself and then said "oh, oops, is that ok?" Will not be going back.

Steak night! Let's just say I forgot to take a picture before it was devoured 🤌🏾 tender and the butter sauce made it super juicy! I had to ask the cooks names ( Christina and JJ) it was so good. Not to mention it was Thursday football. It was our first time in. Our server was sweet and patient. Made sure our order was correct. Thanks Shelby you made our night! I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

My surprise retirement party was awesome. Our waiter Chris, did a great job! The food was excellent! I really appreciate all the great service. All my work team really had a great time. Job well done!

Food is great, nice ambiance, people are great. Its our fav bar. Awesome waitresses!

Not bad at all! They had kind server's and not to bad of good for a bar! Very family oriented kinda through me off! Not a big fan of drinking in front of kid's!!
