Went there with high recommendations. We walked in and waited to be seated. We got water to drink. Waited about 5- 10 minutes. Honestly, I felt like we were being ignored. We got to place our order. We waited for what felt like 10 minutes or longer. Never got the food we order or even a refill on our water. The owner looked at my empty glass and went ughhhhhhh. Then proceeded to another table. We got up and walked out. Never will I go back to this place.

I was astonished the first time i walked into the newly remodeled space! Second only to the delicious food! You must dine here! Everything on the menu is superb! We hope our reviews give you an idea of what it is like to live, work, and play in Wichita Kansas!

Tonight was my second visit here- the first was with my work group for lunch. Both times were deliciously delightful! My husband hasn't had much exposure to Mediterranean food, but the food here impressed him. Our waitress was helpful and friendly, our meal was delivered with timeliness, and the owner came around to each table to welcome and thank each guest, enquiring of their meal. We will be back!

Bit overprized for the small serving. Food was ok but nowhere near traditional Shawarma. Waitress had a little bit too much attitude and they need to turn on their heater in the winter. Hope to find a better Shawarma place in the Wichita area.

Overall verdict 6.0 out of 10. The service...I can't say it was bad but I can't say it was good. The food. Appetizer of falafel was pretty good 8.5 out of 10. Solid. The carbonara was not carbonara. The pasta was really watery but also pretty tasty so that helps. 6.9 out of 10. The chicken pita was unimpressive but the salad it came with was good. 5.5 out of 10. It's not fair to this restaurant that we just got back from Italy and Greece but still... With all the raving reviews we were hoping for more.

Food is always good but wait staff is always RUDE! After reading other reviews about the wait staff being rude I have to assume this is the norm and refrain from eating here.

I had high hopes for this place and was excited to try it. Food was very mediocre and bland. The veggies were incredibly greasy. Service was awful! The owner came outside to greet tables and visited each except for ours. There are much better places to get Mediterranean food in west Wichita. Don’t overspend here.

Majority of the 4+ stars are fake reviews from what it seems like. I got here Valentine's night to be treated very poorly from a totally unprofessional restaurant manager (Not even a waitress), almost like getting yelled at as a four years old, just because she wanted to "see my ID ". I'm way above the legal age and was there with my wife (She only asked once and interrupted me while ordering, it was super rude that I couldn't believe what I was hearing). Reading through the reviews it seems like the place is picky and probably racist. Such an irony people serving my home country's authentic food and discriminizing against me. I wouldn't recommend for anyone who doesn't want to be treated like that. And if you don't believe me, always check the 1 star reviews. First and last time at Cafe Maurice.

It is a wonderful place to eat at. The price is very manageable but the quality is not compromised. Plus, FREE TIRAMISU with food! How can you not like that? I would 100% recommend this place. Pic: Pasta Diablo.

Cafe Maurice is absolutely so good and delicious. Our server Maria was so nice and friendly. Customer service and the food is a 10/10. Would definitely recommend coming here.

I love this restaurant. I’ve been coming here for over a decade now, and I always order the Maurice’s chicken sandwich. It’s SO GOOD. The only reason I don’t come by more often is because it’s so far away from my house. I try to treat myself if I’m in the area, though!

Tried the fish on pita bread and cole slaw. The fish sandwich was delicious,, cole slaw a little heavy on the dressing. Hummus was yummy.. Great service. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Will visit again in the near future.

I ordered the falafel sandwich with tabouli to-go. The sandwich was cold. The falafel was stale. The tabouli was made with lettuce and tomatoes. Absolutely Trash. I called and the food manager was rude and said that’s how we make the food. $31.08 for trash food. Never again.

I LOVE this mom and pop restaurant! The food is amazing. The shawarma plate is my favorite. The hummus is the best I’ve ever tasted. I nice perk at the end of a meal is that a tiny Tiramisu is free treat at he end of a meal. I like this because it’s so small, you cannot say no and it’s is delicious- a perfect end to a delicious meal. The service I’ve had is mixed, extremely friendly and welcoming to the other extreme. But most of the time it’s more toward friendly and welcoming.

Mushroom soup flavorful, creamy-rich and so soothing. Spinach pies delightful pastry packed with flavor. Tiramisu fantastic texture with a combination of creamy excellence.

We've been a long time patron of this restaurant. My wife loves it more than I do but I can't deny that the food is great here. We've probably tried all of the food on the menu. I really like the tiramisu cake as a complimentary dessert. The service has always been quick. There's really no cons I can write about.

Some of the food were bland such as the meat in the gyro, hummus, baba ghanoush, and tabouli. They were all fresh however and the tiramisu is a must try. The chicken and beef shawarma is good as well. Very friendly staff and the decor is amazing.

Nice atmosphere, great food. Service was lacking. Staff wasn't attentive. I needed to ask for water several times before it was refilled, pepper was empty and needed to get one of another table. The restaurant was not busy, there were two table being used inside and a few outside. This was a Thursday night about 6:00 pm.

Food was good. But service was very, very slow during lunch. After we were done, and the plates were cleared, we still didn't have the check. We had to go up to the bar and ask for it.

After days of driving and enough fast food to make me sick, we settled into a nearby hotel and I looked for something REAL. The Café Maurice food photos in google maps looked so delicious, and I needed quality. I was not disappointed. I wanted so many things on the menu I could only wish we weren't just passing through - if I lived here I'd come back frequently. We started with an appetizer of cabbage rolls, they were excellent. I decided on vegetable soup and Greek salad because my stomach craved fresh. Everything I had was wonderful. My husband had a burger with Swiss, ham, and an abundance of cabbage slaw on toasted bun, and he loved it. The complimentary tiramisu was a perfect ending. How nice! Our server Maria was very attentive and friendly. Overall we could not have been more pleased with everything.

So awesome that I thought for a moment I had "morphed" back to my hometown in Bremerhaven Germany where we have excellent cafes and restaurants, and peoples of all nations share foods and good times, no one feels threatened, our law enforcement has the well earned respect and responsibilty to respond to keep people safe, and enforce Just laws, and peace in the midst of the bay and city. This place was suggested by a friend and I'm glad he did. Got the gyro and it was awesome, the hummus side was really good to. I'll be coming back soon.

My mom and I stopped there for what we call "Linner", it's a late lunch or an early dinner. I had a cup of their beef vegetable soup, my mom had a bowl of tomato soup, and we shared the beef hummus shawarma with a side of fresh veggies. Everything tasted fine although I could have used more seasoning for my food. The service was impeccable! The young lady hostess/server was friendly greeting us when we walked in and continued with her cheerful attitude throughout our stay and extended her friendliness and cheerfulness to every customer that walked in the door. The atmosphere is pleasant and I would definitely recommend a brunch with loved ones or get together with friends. They even serve a complimentary piece of tiramisu at the end of the meal as a nice little surprise!!!

Great location. Feels more like an upscale restaurant but prices are affordable. The gyro shwarma platter with vegetables and rice was delicious and made with fresh pan fried vegetables. The meat pies were a little pricey for what you get but the flavor was on spot. We'll be back!

Ordered carry out. Got home and side salad was not in the bag which was an option for the entree. Also asked for steamed vegetables and got sautéed. Still good but not as healthy. Husband ordered the pasta with salmon and received shrimp. Wasn’t going to go back a second time. Checking the order when bagging was poor. Lesson learned, check bag before leaving.

We were looking for a restaurant we normally don't frequent and came upon Café Maurice. The food was amazing and the staff was friendly. I had the tomato soup with my meal and would rate it in the top 3 I have ever had. For those that it matters to, in the current climate of social distancing and masks, they were employing both concepts well.

This is my favorite authentic Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurant in Wichita. My family has been going here since I was little and reminds my mom of home and her cultural background. All of their food is fresh and taste amazing. Never a moment that their food had ever disappointed me!!

The food is good, and I have been visiting this place for years, but I will never comeback again. The staff RUDE!!!!!. I tried to ignore that many times, because of the food and many of my friends did too, but we hated the place after seeing disrespect from the staff.

First time here. It was okay. Food was good. Really liked the free little bite of the tiramisu. Our waitress could have been more friendly. The Greek salad was spot on and the meza everything platter was also delish.
