This is a great museum. What it lacks in size it makes up for in content. I loved the Egyptian and Roman segments. My son loved the fossils and dinosaurs. There are even real mummies and a shrunken head. Most of what i enjoyed was on the first floor. Second floor was mainly war related and not much on the third floor. Nice gift shop. It was well worth the visit

It easily took us 3 hours to see everything in this museum and do the adult scavenger hunt. There are 3 floors with tons of things to do and read. Make sure at the end of your visit to mark where you’re from on the map!

Seemed like most of what I saw noted it was copies or casts (meaning not real) like most documents and dinosaur bones. So much so I just quit checking. Nice enough exhibits but kind of scattered. I entered several exhibits from back to front. Maybe markings on the floor recommending a path to take? Only the presidents exhibits noted begin and end. War section from left to right was Vietnam, Korean, WWI, WWII. so didn't really flow.

Great way to spend a couple hours. Exhibits from around the world, showing ancient history to modern historical events. Wheelchair accessible entrance, elevator for convenience, with handicap restrooms located on the second floor. Interesting items in the gift shop at the entrance.

Absolutely a must for everyone. This museum stands as one with a large collection and a variety far and wide. From rocks to pianos and a scavenger hunt. Cheap and worth a visit.

Enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the museum - not too busy on a Sunday afternoon! The dinosaur exhibit was by far my favorite but there are also extensive collections of war history, different regions and time periods, and such great information. Activities for kids throughout and a play area upstairs.

The kids and I had a lot of fun learning and doing the scavenger hunts together. Great place to visit in town on a rainy day. We used the Sunflower Summer app to enter, but we'll plan to come back again

I thought this was going to be a Ripley’s type place but for the price was willing to give it a shot for a few hours with the kids. I am incredibly impressed by the quality and quantity of artifacts here. Some of the things seen here brought to life things my son has only read about. His life was made and I was happy that this was a real learning experience to see real things that my son had only dreamed of.

Three floors that take you through a tour of the earliest life on our planet, through nearly all of our different ages, including American and world wars that include important artifacts, while peppering in geology, commerce, literature, pop culture, and more. So much more than you would expect. Cool exhibits included mummies and shrunken heads, and respectful signs asking not to take pictures of actual human remains (so I didn't). A great take, indeed.

For 2 people, it was 22 dollars to enter. The bathrooms were nice and clean, and they had an elevator inside. The parking outside was easy, but can be hard to find on a Saturday from what I'm told. There's no eating out drinking inside, and you need at least 2 full hours to see everything. They have some actual dinosaur fossils, mummies, a section of the Berlin wall, and so many other things. The volunteer staff is really nice.

Great museum! Go through at your own pace. Elevators and benches make it very accessible for everyone. From dinosaurs to war history, exhibits are varied and interesting. There's even a replica of the Resolute desk in the presidents exhibit. A little of everything so everyone can learn something new. Staff were very friendly. An enjoyable experience all around.

The museum has so many interesting artifacts. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to look through it all. For a modest museum, it packs a lot in.

I have visited this museum once before but many things were moved and new items were very interesting to me. I took the daughter of my heart, Linda Hill, and my friend Barb Scott and we made a real experience that will stay with us in the years to come. Today was a good day. If you are interested in all kinds of different stuff I would feel confident in sending you to visit too.

Lots to see. Very up with the feel of other museums of this type. 3 floors with an elevator. The kids loved the play area at the top floor. My husband and I want to come back without kids so we can read more on the exhibits. I've lived in Wichita for 35 years and had never been here. I had no idea it was such a neat place!

This was our first time visiting and we were there for over two hours. We will enjoy it and will return again. So many things to see and learn.

Dinosaurs section is top notch. Very well laid out super articulation and a amazing t-Rex specimen. Having the Rex next to its cousin is a great touch. The way they have displayed the evil looking monster fish (which gave me nightmares) is so cool. The ancient history area is very nice. Good flow and it made sense the way it was laid out. Egypt could use a bit of help with labels and lighting but still very well done. Nice paintings by the way with the mummies good work there. Second floor was not quite as polished as the first, however this so still a very good collection. Well worth the visit. I will say again though Parents control your brats!

Surprisingly an incredible museum. Everyone will find a section that interests them from dinosaurs to American presidents to mummies, etc. I consider this as “must see” in Wichita.

Very interesting dinosaur and fossil display on first floor. The the second floor was devoted to wartime memorabilia, and the third floor had nothing displayed when we visited. It was a fun way to spend about 90 minutes.

We had a lot of fun walking through two of the three floors in this museum. We especially loved the first floor, which houses mummies, sarcophagi, dinosaur fossils and replicas, and more! If you are a war buff, there is a ton to see on the second floor, along with a small but interesting medieval collection. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Wow, I had no idea what to expect when I decided to visit from out of town. There was a little bit of history for everyone from dinosaurs to American Presidents to past cultures. We visited for a few hours but one could spend days reading all the great signage and learning more. The gift shop offered some neat souvenirs so I picked something up for my daughter. I would love to visit again next time I’m in the area.

If you like museums then this is the place to go. They have 3 huge floors full of historic museum pieces. They have a little bit of everything from all the wars, old music, dinosaurs, ancient Egypt ect. I can assure you that you will find amazing things to look at and read about. We had a great time and we were there for a few hours! If you haven't been then I'd check it out!

A lot of history is covered under the roof of this three story building. The history of dinosaurs, Egyptians, world wars, and historical leaders are covered in a well laid out setting. There are a few interactive exhibits and a play area for kids.

That was a cool museum, I kind of liked it. But also it's pretty boring, but I would say that if you live in Kansas, it's definitely gonna be the best place you can go. A few dinosaur skeletons, a few cool mummies, lots of war things, and a lot of Roman and European history things. In general, I liked it. Thank you! 🌟
