I had a blast getting to go inside the B-29. The volunteers were a wealth of knowledge and I can't wait to see Doc fly in the future.

The B-29 Doc Hanger, Education Center is an amazing place! The hanger is done up very well! With all the history of Doc from beginning to end with pictures, videos, and documents of its restoration journey. It's so wonderful that they restored this beautiful airplane!! The staff members are very nice and friendly!! It's really great to see that it sits on the grounds of the Dwight Eisenhower Airport. To see Doc fly and the other historic airplanes were so cool!! This is a great place to visit!!

Fantastic exhibits about development of B-29 bombers, use during WWII and Doc's rescue from the desert & restoration. Loved getting to go in cockpit!! Good docents available for tours and to answer questions. Such a wonderful 2 hours spent there, worth a visit!!!

It's a really neat and informative experience. There a lot of information available about the history of the B-29 super fortress and how it came to the point of needing and getting restored.its a really cool place. The cost was 10 per person but it's twenty dollars for a family.

This is an incredible place to visit- one of only two still flying B/29’s! Get a WWII lesson as you walk through the airplane- I give it 5 stars!

Going into the cockpit of this plane was amazing. The guides were super knowledgeable about the plane and most of them had years of flying experience. Beware that there is no AC inside of the hangar so in the summer it can be sweltering. I would like to take a ride in the plane someday.

We had a great time at Warbirds Weekend! Very nice place, and the workers were super friendly. They have a great exhibit upstairs about the history of WW2. My favorite part was the Women's History, as Micky Axton is one of my heroes! There is a nice little giftshop in the entrance with all kinds of great souvenirs! Overall, my family really enjoyed going! It wad so neat to see the plane that my grandpa helped build! He was an electronics engineer at Boeing.

Visited on 7-9-2023 during the Wichita Warbirds Weekend. Brought the family and nephews who love getting up close to these aircraft. We got tour inside B-29 DOC, B-25 Berlin Express, and a DC-3. Everyone had fun, and we thank all the volunteers that put on this event. Definitely recommend visiting.

What a great museum dedicated to a single aircraft! Very knowledgeable volunteer staff of guides who work on the aircraft and operate it. The day I was here, I was fortunate enough to arrive on a day it was flying after winter maintenance. They left the hangar doors open and let everyone stay past the museum hours (9am-2pm Tues, Thurs, Sat) to watch the engine starts, and watch DOC taxi out and takeoff! Very cool! Facility is awesome, the story of the work it took to make this museum a possibility is truly amazing!

Absolutely the best visit to encounter one of the last two B-29s that are still flying today. Incredible experience!!!

As a history nerd & a military aircraft nerd this place was truly awesome! The staff was truly friendly & very knowledgeable & getting to walk around inside the aircraft while the crew was performing maintenance was also awesome. The displays & informational videos on the second level were also very interesting & well done.

A unique venue for events. I'm a professional photographer and found the DOC B-29 and Hangar and great place to photograph an event.

I spent a few days volunteering at the Doc hangar/museum. It is a beautiful facility filled with artifacts, displays, and of course, historic aircraft. A must-see if you're in Wichita.

We expected to see Doc, but we were surprised to see all of the information in the museum part of the hangar. The staff/volunteers were all very helpful and knowledgeable. The family price was a great deal for us, and we are happy we went.

I only gave 5 stars because I couldn't give more! One of the coolest experiences of my life. Doc is an amazing aircraft and the crew is amazing. I highly recommend taking a ride if you get the opportunity!
