My mom gave me a $200 dollar gift card here for my birthday. Walked in with my family and the employee was on a ladder and didn’t notice we were there. She walked by us and rolled her eyes and sighed madly looking at us annoyed we were there. We then asked her for help getting something and she ignored us. When we asked her if she was the only one working she said yep! And then proceeded to ignore us. We left and went to the other mall. I won’t spend my money at a place with employees like This.

Found a few things for my daughter. Wish it was like I remembered but still good place to shop for band t-shirts and items.

Had an online issue with an order I placed in store and was very frustrated but Sarah (manager) completely took care of it and got it worked out. If not for her I'd be giving less stars but her efforts to help and fix the situation really stood out

Not a lot of people shopping but fully stocked withe cool items. Great customer service.

The employees are really nice and I just love how the place feels. I have to restrain myself whenever I pass Hot Topic because I always come out with at least 2 new shirts and, like, 5 new lanyard pins. They're so freaking amazing. I love their merchandise and I can't wait to pass by there again. (I'm hoping they have Maleficent merchandise.)

I had not been to Hot Topics for a couple of years and was surprised by how much it had changed with regard to stock. I did not find anything, at the time, representing one of my favorite bands, Tool. Perhaps I am Going out of their demographic as I did not find anything on some newer bands I enjoy, ie Mumford & Son's, Cage the elephant, Judah and the lion, etc. A lot of there stock now appears to be cheap looking jewelery. I probably won't be back for awhile.

Is it a requirement to completely stereotype others? Because that’s definitely what the employees did. Girlfriend told me where the post Malone shirts were in such a condescending tone. I told her I wasn’t looking for those and she just walked away. Literally no one asked if I needed help. Yet they were very courteous to other customers. They treated me as if I was one of those “lol wut’s Black Sabbath tehe!” Not coming back. Not supporting that toxic environment. Get over yourselves.

Was followed around the store to the point that I just left. I don't even think I was asked if I needed any help, the dude just followed me everywhere. when other people came in he stood at the counter and still stared at me the whole time I was in the store it felt like. Didn't even have a bag or an oversized jacket on or anything, no reason to think I was stealing and no reason to follow me around like a theif either

Hot Topic has survived it all, the power is back on, and they are definitely open at Towne West. This means I always have a spot to grab a cool gift for my loved ones to let their inner goth-light shine or pick myself up one of the many retro band shirts. The selection is plentiful and the Halloween and horror movie merch is ready for the season. I recommend the west side Hot Topic to all of Wichita.

Given that the west mall is.. sad. I'll give it to Hot Topic being open, albeit at a low stock capacity. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I'm sure any angsty teen, or post-whatever adults can find something worthwhile at this store. Remember how hot sweatbands were back in the day? Yeah the new thing is Funko pops. Wild. 10/10 even though west mall is almost a ghost town. Lol

I like the rewards points. I always have a few bucks or more to be able to use towards the total. Pretty cool!
