the doctor was great, however, I called to cancel my appointment and the person who picked up late in the evening said okay, the day of the appointment I received a text message to confirm my appointment I texted back cancel, it said there was no appointment in existence and to try again later, and I did and there was no appointment. on the day of the appointment I received a phone call that I missed my appointment and I was charged for no showing. I tried multiple times to get the charge taken off through the portal with the front desk and to explain multiple times to multiple people and it wasn't done. I kept getting messages about an overdue balance so 2 months later I ended up having to pay it just because I didn't want to get sent to collections for an appointment I had canceled days ahead of time, for $25.

Do not go there! Years ago, I was a satisfied patient of the Clinic. Recently when I needed to have a mole checked, I actually chose this clinic to go to. Big disappointment!! I should have read the reviews before I went. The receiving rooms are filthy. The floors are covered with hair and dust. The mandatory mask you have to wear is a blessing in this place. The reception area has the rudest people that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If you’re trying to call them to cancel or change your appointment, you’re S.O.L.!! No one will answer the phone and if they do answer, you will be on hold for 30 minutes or more. Their fault for not being accessible to you, but they will charge you for missing the appointment. I did not have a problem at all with the nurse that attended me, BUT, I will never go back there. Who’s in charge of this Clinic and why have they let the Clinic become so rundown?

Today May 3rd, 2022 I saw Dr. Martha Housholder for a melanoma spot that needed further attention. She was very unprofessional and told me it was all my fault because I used a tanning bed over 10 years ago while in high school a few times. She proceeded to barely look over my spots very quickly and would hardly let me ask any questions and then when I asked about another spot she quickly glanced at it and said it’s fine and was nothing. She then expressed her own opinion and said how I was going to die without a Covid vaccine and basically how dumb I was. She also pulled at my clothes trying to lift them up to see my spots that needed examined and could have simply asked me to remove the item of clothing instead of just acting like I was stupid for keeping it on without knowing she wanted it off. I had never been treated the way I was today by Dr. Housholder and I actually stood up for myself as and told her I wanted a second opinion which she asked why I would need to do so and I told her I didn’t like the way she was treating me as a patient and she think she did anything wrong. I will not be back and suggest you find someone who has better bedside manner and keep her personal opinion to herself than Dr. Martha Housholder. That staff was very nice though the horrible experience with Housholder.

My experience with this clinic was a truly all around awful one. I was treated as an unwanted nuisance and rushed at a time when I was worried and concerned. I was given the run around concerning my results which I never did receive. I believe they either lost them or never had them. I was constantly pestered about payments through text and email even though I made payments every month. The online system to make payments didn't work and when I called billing to make a payment over the phone I would almost always get put through to a recording to leave a message. Occasionally I would get a call back. I am beyond relieved to be done with this unprofessional, uncaring and price gouging practice. I highly recommend Heartland Dermatology who treated me kind and made me feel welcome with no greedy harassments about payment.

I see exactly why there are so many low reviews. I was to become a new client. Due to the holidays I overlooked that I had an appointment scheduled. I didn’t receive any reminders despite the office manager alleging that I confirmed. I called to reschedule and hours later received a call from the office manager to notify I shouldn’t have been able to reschedule. I posed the question as to why I would pay a $25 no-show fee when I was also told I couldn’t reschedule. The office manager did not explain this policy to me. While I would’ve been happy to pay a no-show fee for the oversight, this policy was never shared when I called to schedule the initial appointment. As well, the manager was unaware that my email was not put on file until this morning. Mistakes happen. The idea they would “dismiss” a new patient unaware of their policy is disheartening.

Extremely rude staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Also, their no show policy requires you to call and cancel/reschedule 48 hours in advance so be prepared for that. So if you wake up sick, or your kids wake up sick you are SOL. You can’t call and cancel/reschedule the same day without being charged $25. If you do call and cancel/reschedule the same day they still consider that a “no-show” just so they can charge you. This place just wants your money and the staff are extremely rude.

Waited 3+ months to be seen only for them to cancel my appointment the day before. Took several tries and a lot of time on hold to speak with someone to reschedule. They offered me an appointment ANOTHER couple of months away with a PA, not the dermatologist. I told them not to bother and scheduled with another clinic who got me in as a new patient in a couple of weeks.

I had a hard time getting the correct medication. They kept calling in one that I had already told them did not work. I had to keep calling them asking for what the doctor stated she was going to order. Finally after waiting 2.5 weeks and getting upset with them, I was called in a correct medication. But I then received a phone call from the office manager telling me that they don't tolerate that type of behavior. I did not threaten them, but I did raise my voice and let it be know that they were paid in full and I expect them to do just what they were paid to do. I will not be going back. I should have waited the 3 extra weeks for the other offices to call. The google reviews were correct.

The staff was really nice but the appointment felt impersonal and rushed. They spent more time making sure my insurance and payment would go through than addressing my concerns. Waited 2 months for my appointment, huge waste of time and money. Would not go back.

Dr. Stanley Capper is a wonderful doctor who really cares. I really appreciated him asking me to give him a call a week after my appt so I could give him a progress report. He is very kind and knowledgeable. Staff is super unorganized which is why I am giving a 3 star rating.

My daughter is 15 months with uncomfortable eczema. We saw a different Derm before this one and had a HORRIBLE experience. We saw Dr Stanley Capper for a second opinion and he was so personable and friendly! He walked me through the type of eczema my daughter has and home remedies as I expressed my disdain for steroids. He took the time to draw a diagram and teach me different allergens, I truly appreciated the effort he gave to make jokes and make my daughter comfortable during her exam. Although the appointment only lasted less than 30 minutes, I found it beneficial. I see reviews about the other doctors - I would definitely give Dr Capper a shot!

I visited this clinic on 30th May 2023. Even though the consultation with Doctor was not so great, I do not have any dis-satisfaction with him. The nurse Julie is very rude. After consultation with doctor, she did not tell anything to me (not even a single word). I was assuming that there is no prescription from doctor. 10 days later, I felt that I should get some ointment. I made a personal visit again to the clinic to request for ointment. The nurse told me she already sent the prescription to one of the nearby pharmacy. That was not my regular pharmacy. Infact, she never asked me and I did not tell her also. Those who wants to visit this clinic, please be prepared for this kind of service.

Great experience. Have always enjoyed seeing Dr Householder, but saw a PA to have a skin tag removed. During my skin exam she found a spot and biopsied. Had this spot my entire life, didn’t give it a second thought. Turned out to be melanoma which Dr removed during a painless in office procedure. So thankful for the staff here.

Almost the entire staff is rude from the moment I got there.. condescending, they called me in early and when i arrived I was told that I was early, so interoffice communication was really to blame for the lady behind the desk that interrupted me four times that wasn’t shutting her rude comments/ cut offs to hear WHY i was there was due to them calling ME.. this is just the beginning, this horrible experience has cost me prescriptions that have had ZERO impact and now I am probably going to have pretty horrible PERMANENT HAIR LOSS due to scabbing nd scarring of the skin on my scalp, which I was told I was scratching violently WHICH I SAID I HADNT ….I was dismissed as a LIAR AND instead of them taking a skin sample to look at under the microscope I was DISMISSED told to sit still , as if I was moving around,, and I watched this woman prepare a slide of a follicle of ny hair, which there is NOTHING wrong with my hair strands nor do I have LICE.. but yet she ignored me when I told them how “crawly” my scalp felt and that it all started itching when I was bit by three ticks !? And to think I PAID TO BE TREATED THIS WAY… and now will most likely have MORE permanent hair loss RIGHT ON TOP OF MY HEAD . Because I was dismissed and ignored because NOTHING they prescribed has done ANYTHING to this condition on my scalp. Im so angry and mortified ..

Had a nickle sized basil cell removed and two others frozen. My appointment went like clock work, I went in for a professional opinion. When he was done saying it needs to go he asked if I wanted it done right then. I expected to at least have to make a second appointment. Friendly and knowledgeable, he makes you feel comfortable.

Parking next to the door, nice office people, I didn’t wait: 15 minutes of “Dr. Pimple Popper” Householder and out the door. Reasonable prices, great nurse and doctor.

My grandson did not recieve the full treatment of medication, due to lack of calling the right med to the pharmacy. He was getting farther behind, and then the Dr. just said that was OK. I did not think SO! It was the drs fault, she is always in a rush. Wait an hour, be seen for 5 min or less.

Cheryl and Lisa at the front counter are terrific at providing a welcoming environment and customer service! Ladies are awesome! I highly recommend Kylie Horsch PA as a provider as well! Outstanding clinic!

Scammers! They tell you things are covered under your insurance, then charge you once you leave. Rude and impatient from the receptionists to the "providers".

The nurses were professional, the doctor was prompt and obviously enjoys her job. Her enthusiasm over my simple procedure really let me know that I was in the right office. This office can be busy. At my check-up appointment I waited 30mins past my appointment time to be seen. It's not ideal but it's not uncommon at any appointment that you set. Be pacient y'all.
