today is my birthday, my mother and grandmother decided to treat me to lunch. I visited the Ridge Rd location in Wichita, KS. Brenda the waitress was horrible. She served my table cold entrees and forgot my mother and grandmothers sides. She displayed an attitude as though she was disturbed by them asking for there food and ketchup. She did not smile, she rolled her eyes and walked off. My mother waived down "Flor" the manager and we shared our discretion, she offered a new order of food and a new waitress. The new waitress came over to ask us what we needed with a smile and removed the appetizer plates from the table and Brenda jumped in front of her to remove dishes off the table. My mother advise her that she did not need to come back to our table as she was no longer our wait staff. Brenda smirked and with a very condescending tone said, oh...im sorry...and walked off. She returned more than once to antagonize and stare at us and purposely walked around our table staring at us talking under her breath. there was no correction in this situation what so ever. Other than the new waitress that finished our table. It is my damn birthday today. I am so disappointed with this staff. I read all of the Diversity and Inclusion programs you have put in place and I feel that Brenda may need some training or fired for blatantly being racist. Flor as well. They were not interested in making the consumer feel important. The feeling of this visit was more like a annoyance. Please correct this issue. I would also like to add that the portion of food and the way it was presented was very undesirable. Plain disgusting. My mother and grandmother should not have been charged for cold food and watered down iced tea. Attached is a photo of Brenda ignoring me as I tried to ask her for a refill before we received a new waitress.

I have debated on sharing this for a moment now, and I will not specify a date because my intention is not to hurt anyone’s job, just to bring attention. Within the past week we ventured to the location in search of meatloaf. We were seated quickly, food was fast to the table, and everything tastes just as expected. The only thing we didn’t get with our meal was cornbread, as it was still cooking. We had no issue and took it to go. The next day while eating it I got half way through one of them and caught my tooth. As I looked down I realized that an entire studded earring had been baked into the bread. I would just like to make this review as a testament as to why a lot of restaurants require no jewelry to be worn on shift; and that Cracker Barrel should follow suite.

Went to Cracker Barrel and ordered to go. Waited the 20 minutes for the expected wait time. Checked the counter and food was not ready. Was told it would be a few minutes they were behind a little. Waited almost another 30 minutes and food finally came out. Fried pork chops came out extremely soggy. Very disappointed in my visit to this Cracker Barrel location.

This was my friend's first time coming to a Cracker Barrel, and it was a wonderful experience! The food was great 😋 The biscuits were golden and fresh, the gravy was creamy and delicious, those apples were tender and not too sticky. Put a little butter and sugar in those grits and call it a day. The silverware was delivered in a fancy napkin basket which I never saw at a northern cracker barrel before it was very charming. Our hostess was a young woman, very friendly and accommodating. The gift shop is small and packed full of really beautiful keepsakes, decorations, and vintage treats. We enjoyed the fast service and the hot meal! She will definitely be bringing her family back there sometime.

As with most all the Cracker Barrel restaurants the food here is really good. The service was a little slow but otherwise a great eating experience.

We love going here for early breakfast beefier the crowd gets in. We had the steak and egg hashbrown casserole, and the mothers breakfast rough French toast she we left waddling 🤣 They also have their Halloween stuff up in the store, so it's going to be a good day 🎃

The food was really good. We all got something off the promo menu. I would recommend anything off of it. The food portions have really gotten bigger. It took a really long time to get our food, but our waitress was really good. She kept our drinks full and gave us updates the whole time. Every restaurant is struggling with help, but they make the best of it. The atmosphere was great. You can't beat cracker barrel during Christmas time.

Clean, spacious atmosphere in Dining. Very nice Wait Staff. Catfish was wonderful. And I always find great little goodies in the store. There have been changes since Cvd: less staff (so a little slower attentiveness per table) and the menu change took out some staples while adding some price increases (☹️ but that's corporate level so...meh.) But my family still enjoys our cracker barrel and we take turns visiting the store and playing checkers while we wait for dinner.

Ordered 2 turkey dinners to go. Dressing was dry marbles of tasteless cornbread. No potatoes with the turkey green beans were good. Pumpkin pie looked like it hadn't finished baking. Definitely won't be back for a holiday meal again. Service was great and fast at carside to go

I was really disappointed in the quality of the Thanksgiving meal I purchased for my family. I purchased the Thanksgiving "heat at home" meal for 4-6 people. The turkey was a bit dry, but it wasn't what I expected in flavor, I didn't care for the stuffing or the gravy either. Mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and rolls were absolute top notch. I know the food they serve in the restaurant is always great, so I have no complaints about that. The people working the take home meals line were efficient, friendly, and very professional, so the service inside and out is always stellar!

We went there for Thanksgiving dinner. They had good turkey, gravy, green beans and sweet potatoes. The dressing was way too dry and covering it up with heavy did not help! Also I was disappointed that there was only pumpkin pie for the dessert. We couldn't even substitute. A very disappointing Thanksgiving dinner. I won't do that again.

After a really long drive on Thanksgiving Day we went to this Cracker Barrel. They were absolutely jam packed but the staff were so calm, friendly and helpful. We ended up ordering takeout and the staff at the takeout counter were so kind to us. Lovely lady got our food, gave me a hug and wished us Happy Thanksgiving. Superstars you don’t find nice genuine people like this team many places. Treasure them much thanks ❤️

We had to wait an extra long time to get our table here. The front of the house service is very disorganized. Half of the dining room was closed. Food was just blah. Nothing special.

Great way to start the day!! Take out is easy and only a few minutes til ready when you're on the go, like my monthly staff meetings which start an hour earlier than normal. Otherwise, we love to dine in. The atmosphere is welcoming, love the large fireplace, and the gift shop offers a variety of items that I can't live without.

Chicken and French Toast was super delicious!! 😋 This item should be on the menu full time!! Service was great and friendly! Highly recommend if you're passing through or local! 🙌🏼

Apparently Cracker Barrel has allowed the covid era to dictate their future going forward. Went for breakfast this morning and was disappointed beyond belief. Cracker Barrel has all but abandoned their breakfast menu. Only a few options available. Ordered the grandma sampler; a piece of ham 2" x 2", 1 burnt piece of bacon and a sausage pattie the size of a half dollar. Hash browns was just a crusty layer with no actual potatoes. No biscuits and gravy served anymore, must pay separately. Biscuits about a 1/4" thick gravy cold and pasty. The order for 3 people took over an hour to deliver. This was the Ridge Rd. Wichita, KS location. They lost me for life!!

We've been to cracker barrels all over the country and have never had a bad experience, but this location is horrible. Wandered why the parking lot wasn't full like CB parking lots usually are on a Sunday afternoon. Now we know. The service was horrible and the orders came out wrong. Drinks didn't come out until after the food came out about 40 minutes after we were seated, and the waitress asked me to gather plates for her to take!?! Manager didn't seem to care. He was too busy horseplaying with other waitresses. We will continue to patronage CB but never again at this west side location.

Went in for breakfast today and I was so disappointed. The only bright spot was the amazing waitress Robin. We ordered the tater tot appetizer and the shredded cheese on top was still cool. When we asked they glady melted the cheese for us and brought it back out. Well as you can imagine now the tater tots were not crispy. Flavor was decent but not worth $4.99. My food came out and looked pretty good except it was all overcooked. The steak I ordered medium was very well done. To the point it couldn't even eat it. I ordered 2 eggs over medium and they weren't runny at all. They were pretty overcooked. The bacon we ordered was 70% fat, but at least our server noticed that and brought us more out. The hash browns were at least really good and my wife's french toast was good. The food also took a while to come out. It's not my first bad experience here but with the quality of food it would be hard to recommend. The shop and staff our front were awesome and we did buy some goodies on our way out.

Love the rustic feel of this place! So much to see that makes you wonder how our civilization has come so far in such a short amount of time. The food left a lot to be desired as our coffee wasn't even as hot as most like but I assume it's because the cup was ice cold. I got a really light meal for my usual appetite being it was just a shirt stack of cakes and grits. The cakes were ok but my grits were soupy runny and had to be taken back. The server was attentive enough but had to be reminded a few times she was asked for condiments and more sugar for my coffee. I also asked for brown sugar and butter to be brought back with my grits that she forgot. By the time I got my grits my coffee had been empty for a hot min and had finished my cakes. Being as though I had to ask twice more for sugar and brown sugar, by the time I got them my grits were almost too cool to eat but i wasnt waiting to eat any longer. My company for this meal (my mother) had the same issues except she had gotten a meal and asked for crispy bacon which was not crispy but she refused to send it back. I will be going again because I love the gift shop and the atmosphere but will be diligent on being clear about how I like my food. Still gave a $5 tip on a $15 ticket because I was a bit of a pain and it looked like our server already had a bad day.

Very short staffed today, but they were working very hard. A little disgruntled because I ordered green beans and okra for sides, and my plate came out with double amt of okra, and it was cold. Also asked for Apple Butter, never received it, and then waited on our dessert that we ordered when we ordered our food. After being told it was coming out, and never received it, we finally got it in a to go box without the ice cream. We were not charged for it, but still made me grumpy. Just kept my cool, and mouth shut because they were all working very hard. Will try it again.

The first time we went to the west Crackle Barrel it was 5 star!! On this visit the waitress was rude not personable at all. Our waters were empty they over charged for an error of what was ordered. The steak was tough no flavor but cooked correctly the hash browns were raw in the middle. Disappointing after such a great first visit.

Temperature is wayyyy to cold inside. multiple customers can be seen rubbing their arms. my glass fogged as i exhaled. seems they only care about the waiters and cooks vs the customers comfort. ironically their pop cooler is even cool. employee said its "been broken for awhile". this will be my last trip to this location.

Short staff in kitchen. Fortunately I was not in a hurry. Took a hour to get orders at lunch time on a Friday. Food was good, New fried Pickles where very good. Try them. Held me over till food arrived.

My waitress was very good but that's about all that I can say good about this experience the food tasted old and cold. One of my favorite things to have there is there cornbread and biscuits but today they were dry cold and hard. $50 meal with a $20 tip and we shopped in the store only to be treated like we were going to shoplift. A person followed us around and questioned us three times if we wanted help. All three times we stated no then the person walked away and talk to another worker in the shop and then that worker came and questioned if we needed help. Spent another $70 in that shop almost put everything back just because of the annoyance. I've never had an experience like that at any Cracker Barrel's but that one do not see myself going back anytime soon.
