Oh my goodness!!! How haven’t I heard about this place before? The food in here is absolutely delicious 🤤 My husband and I had the 4 meats, 4 sides and my son had the brown stew with skin on fries and rice. It’s the tastiest food. Loved meeting JayJay too, (Pixi’s son) such a helpful, friendly guy. Guided us well with the recommendations. We will definitely be returning. you have to try this place to appreciate how gorgeous the food is 😋😋😋

(COCKROACH IN FOOD!!!!!!)Went into this place to order and was told 20-25 mins for the food so decided to wait outside in the car, went back in after 25 mins to ask was it ready and was told it hadn’t even been started but they’ll start it now so I said you can deliver it I’m not waiting another half an hour so went home and waited a further 1 and a half and after ringing up the food finally came over 2 hours after initial order. Then started to eat and seen a COCKROACH in the rice. Absolutely scruffy can’t imagine what state the kitchen is in to be sending out cockroachs. Do not eat from here!

I came to Pixis on a PR invite back in November and was very happily surprised by the experience. The food was absolutely delicious, all deliciously seasoned with meats perfectly cooked. The flavours were absolutely popping and the portions were very generous. The only downside was that it could have been a tiny bit hotter temperature wise, but this luckily didn’t take away from the experience. Amazing value for money and really delicious - massive thank you to the friendly and attentive team x

I really want to be positive, but I’m trying really hard - it’s a joke! How can they get it wrong 5 out of 5 times! Ordered 5pm said collect 5.30pm it’s 6pm I’m leaving! When my partner say their names Terry and they call you Perry. (Even thought you’ve ordered online previously). Tonight I wanted kids pepperoni, that’s not pepperoni! Think someone needs teaching what that is - That’s ham! They forgot the “Island chips”, missing! Curry, honestly far too salty! Rice cold. Called to sort, really half arsed, said have to get my manager to call. Last chance lost now! Still waiting.

Have ordered from pixies and the deliver has been within good time and the food has been excellent!! Can’t fault it - played absolutely cleaned! The jerk sauce is next level! Have also collected orders from the restaurant we’ve yet to sit in but when I have collected from here the staff have always been lovely and it’s got a nice little vibe in it, looking forward to sitting in for a meal sometime soon! The best takeaway in Widnes - it’s fresh good food and something different compared to your usual pizza places - Caribbean food is just lush 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Literally the best food around. The flavours are just unreal! Always hot and enjoyable! The young girl on the front is so friendly too! I think I'm becoming a regular as they recognise me now!

What a gem of a business <3 Staff were so friendly and welcoming! The atmosphere was nice and chilled too, but the food did it for us…was just unreal! £6 lunch menu each; my husband got steak and I got salmon and they were both cooked perfectly. Rice and chips were seasoned totally differently, but both delicious too! Quite big portions too for a lunch dish - will definitely be going back!

Ordered a takeaway from Widnes on Friday evening whilst staying uat our son’s. Ordered jerk steak and chicken strips and a grilled jerk beef stacker burger with extra cheese, both with island fries. Did not disappoint! Delivered quicker than estimated (which was great because we were hungry). Food was spiced and cook to perfection. Despite being hungry and having a good appetite the portion provided was really filling. Will definitely be ordering again.
