I was in the orthopedic consultation yesterday and had an appointment at 10.20 a.m. At 1.30 p.m. I asked a doctor from the department how it could be that all the patients who came after me were all ready again. He said it was due to the system Diagnoses. At 2.30 p.m. when I was sitting almost alone in the waiting room, I asked again what should I say they had overlooked me. After a short examination, I was told by the doctor that it was now too late for further examinations and that I would have to make further appointments.

I can only agree with the reviews! Top doctors, nice staff, best advice. However, astronomical waiting times! We had a particularly busy day. After a two-hour journey, we were there 35 minutes before the appointment (early morning). There were already 85 people in the waiting room, all seats were occupied, and another 25-30 people were spread out in the side aisles. So first take a waiting mark! After about 30 minutes we were called to register. It all happened very quickly! This was followed by a wait of almost 4 hours until our number 482 was called. Luckily, a young man offered us his seat (we are both severely disabled). This was followed by a very good, informative consultation with the doctor and examination. Now for the x-ray, another 1.5 hour wait. The day was over for the final discussion (5 p.m.)... Ergo, take plenty of time to visit the really good doctors, bring drinks and food, something to read and maybe a pillow for the long term hard seating. Due to the background noise, especially when there are a lot of children, ear plugs would be recommended. If you arrive by car, the North Parking Garage is recommended; it is suitable for SUVs and has sufficient parking spaces for disabled people.

Well, what can I say, waiting times are always at least 2-4 hours despite an appointment. Even that only for short contacts, such as new AU or regulations. Of course you have time, but this is limited during outpatient rehabilitation. Plus you have pain... The coordination of appointments should actually be improved, because the problem is so old.

I do understand you guys have a lot to do, but waiting time 3 hours+ with an appointment is not acceptable and not professional. If it wasn't necessary, no one would be there....

Waiting times that were far too long, up to 5 hours, after I moved to another hospital they finally knew the reason for my pain. I would have expected more from a university hospital...

Incredibly clean, great and incredibly professional nursing staff (dear administration, instead of complaining about the justified strikes, just listen to them and reach out to them, everyone there is doing a really incredible job under difficult conditions!), very bright rooms and The medical team is not bad either ;)

Unnecessary waiting times are reasonable. Crowded waiting hallway. If the doctors and nursing team weren't so good, I would immediately go somewhere else. Waiting time of 6 hours just for an operation preparation is not good

I was very satisfied with the treatment. Doctors and staff competent and very friendly. My shoulder operation had to be postponed once, but the operation went very well and I was back home in 6 days. Always back to the UKB Bonn 👍
