We bought a blue and gold macaw from this shop. Terry, the owner, is very experienced and friendly, and was more than happy to answer all of our questions. The animals are well looked after. Our macaw is very healthy and super tame!! Would definitely recommend.

Great place %100 recommended.The workers there are so kind and are very nolidgable, they helped me find the best and suttable reptile for me. I bought a male 3 years old crested gecko from them he is absolutely stunning, they helped me hold him and told me everything I wanted to know. If you are looking for a new exotic pet I would recommend them

Messaged them asking for advice on my bearded dragon, they didn’t reply and blocked me a couple of days after. Seems like they only care when you’re buying stuff off them, which is a terrible view to have if the shop promotes good animal welfare, in the reptile industry they should be friendly and passionate. Would not recommend for general advice.

Really pleasant and easy experience, been in twice and all animals are very well behaved, well taken care of. Staff are friendly and open to helping with any problems, the ability to test bulbs in the shop is very reassuring of their quality of the products that they recommend. I would recommend for someone getting their first Exotic animal as their eagerness to answer any question, with a range to expand to more trained Exotic carers.

Nice and friendly, and had a good variety of exotic livestock and accessories needed. Will visit again and recommend to others .x.

I am so happy to give this review, after being scammed we lost hopes of owning an african grey. We came across appleton exotics and were very happy with the quick responses around our queries. Terry was so responsible and we were very impressed to see his involvement and not just treat it as another sale. He went an extra mile to come and drop our little bird to our home which was a good 4 hour drive. The smile on his face and the way he interacted with the bird shows the interest and investment he put in the bird. If you need a bird this is your place

Went in for some advice and the lady was brilliant. She could have told us we needed to buy a b and c but didn’t, she helped us get the exact things we needed at the best price. I’d really recommend using Appleton Exotics. Also the animals in there are amazing!

Staff are so passionate and caring, they give honest information and it is such an interesting place to visit. Christmas 22 was special for my Son because he chose a bearded dragon on Christmas Eve and Dave had everything set up ready for him.

Me and the wife are moving the Australia and the misses wanted a bit of exposure to snakes. Appleton exotics were very friendly and helpful letting us handle the snakes under their professional supervision and helped us out even tho we didn't come to buy. all the animals looked healthy and well looked after! Beautiful collection of exotic pets (and noisy Parrots). Excellent customer service and knowledgeable advice. If they do not have a product nothing is to much trouble to locate it.

I boarded my tortoise Cyclone here while I was on holiday. The staff are great and my tortoise was extremely well cared for. This is the only place I will be using for my tortoise' holidays. Highly recommended, the staff are knowledgeable, caring and friendly and the animals are happy 😁.

Came in with my teenage grandson to get some worms for his Bearded dragon. Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, recommended feeding the"Beardy" with pinkies and gave my grandson a sample to try his Beardy with.
