    I have attempted to use the askmyGP service for the last hour and a half. It states the hours a 6.00 - 14.00 why is it never online. I've been going to this surgery for over 30 years. When I first joined the doctors were wonderful, now they have retired itโ€™s gone downhill. You cannot get an appointment, yet when I go into the surgery there is no one there. It's a complete joke!

    Today8th November I phoned the practice at 1100hrs and continued to do so until 1405. The phone was engaged with every one of my 50 plus calls. There was no queuing system just the engaged tone. There was a break from 1230 until 1330 during lunch. Although Iโ€™m old and live on my own I have the capability of driving to the practice as I did. I reported what was happening and I was told they were busy. I explained the situation to the receptionist and said it needed to be sorted and callers need to be placed in a queue so they could eventually speak to a receptionist. When I got home and tried it was still the engaged tone. For a patient who relies on communication with the doctors by phone this must be so worrying please sort it out.

    Quite frankly a joke. Partner dropped off registration documents 8 weeks ago. Tried to get an appointment 2 weeks ago only to be told sorry we misplaced your paperwork and didnโ€™t process it. If you need help immediately you need to call the crisis team. Tried again a week ago only to be told yeah youre registered but we havenโ€™t got your records from your previous doctor yet try again in a few days time. Tried again a few days after, nobody answering the phone and askmygp offline. Tried again yesterday, sorry itโ€™s emergencies only you need to send us a request online at 6:30am tomorrow to get an appointment. Sent a request online at 6:30am today, tried to call twice, another online request at 11am and still no response.     So my earphone broke off in my ear and unable to get it out myself Rush right to the Drs get there bang on opening 8:00am. bar the two people ahead of me in the queue and one person waiting to be seen the place was empty. Exsplain my case to the resptionist and ask to see anybody Dr or nurse. Told to go home and wait for a call back as everyone is seeing someone. A fully empty waiting room and everyone is somehow busy the second the place opens.

    My wife spoke to Richard this afternoon to sort out a problem with a prescription. She came off the phone very upset as he told her to "take a breath and calm down" even though she was already calm. This is very patronising and unprofessional and we are very disappointed.

    This surgery has gone downhill big time order prescription last week and itโ€™s not even at the pharmacy itโ€™s a joke especially when you order it in advance and know the type of medication Iโ€™m on can mess my head up if come off it too quicklyโ€ฆโ€ฆ. the ask my gp bit is good however noticed can only tend to put in on that in mornings only and canโ€™t enquire on about requested medication, calling the surgery is hard to get through but the staff when meet them face to face are lovely just shame about the services

    Don't bother to ring the surgery as from 16:50pm on any week day, all you will do is run up your phone bill costs. You are put through and put on hold and kept on hold until the surgery closing time of 17:30pm and longer . The staff know you are calling ( your through so it's not engaged ) . So this refusal to answer the phone is done purposely . This has been the case for me on several occasions . Today again being the case in point . I will be formally complaining for all the good it will do.

    Continuous problems with this place! Leaving patients without strong needed medication, only able to PERHAPS arrange a doctor's phone-call if you're up at 5:50am on ask my GP to do it, and lack of paperwork, communication, need I go on more! Extremely disappointed

    If I could give them less than 1 star I would, appaling every single month. Nonchalantly withhold prescriptions when due for a review and donโ€™t tell me, Iโ€˜ve asked to speak with the practice manager on multiple occasions, this has been brushed off and never followed through, Medication such as SSRIโ€™s can have an awful lasting effect on cognitive function amongst another things and I truly feel that the withdrawals I have faced month on month because of this practices disorganisation will have a lasting effects on my health. Disgraceful.

    Diabolical.. had been told I have a phone appointment today ..which by the way they said I needed to have because of blood results. Phone at 2.30 and was told could be any time p.m. ! I've told them numerous numerous times my phone auto rejects Private Numbers and was assured it wouldn't be a Private Number. So I sat at home all afternoon rejecting and not making calls just in case! At 6pm I looked on my calls to see they'd phone me twice at 4.17 and 15 minutes later which I didn't receive. Then I saw 2 voice messages..both from the Surgery Pharmacist who'd been trying to call !!! What the hell is going on at that place! Fuming

    They saved my life when my blood pressure was more than 220/150 and they were the only ones to be there when I had a mental health crisis and needed help from a professional. They might not be able to help you straight off when it's a more minor issue, but if it's serious, they will help you asap.

    My 9th call off the day, and I have been holding for nearly an hour. Listening to the same message, advising they have no appointments. If ANYBODY could answer my call, that would be much appreciated. Disgusting service

    Went to see if the prescription I had put through the letter box two weeks earlier had been processed was told that it was too early to prescribe the medication and the details had been put in the bin what a complete joke. The comment was "I will get into trouble if I put this through". Even though there were 3 items which were not on repeat they still chose to put it in the bin! Tried to contact Martina Maplesden as requested but I am unable to get through on the phone been hanging on for over half and hour. Can you please contact me.

    Genuinely concerned at the amount of paperwork that has been lost in the reception, when speaking to external services who use the surgery I have been told by a few of them that they are 'not surprised'. Not only does it cause a huge amount of stress at having to repeatedly chase and reorder paperwork to be delivered but where on earth are pieces of paper containing my PERSONAL HEALTH DETAILS going?! I have now had to have paperwork routed directly to my house from external teams rather than being left with an incapable reception team. That being said, the Doctors and medical team are absolutely wonderful but the admin and organisation of the surgery is absolutely shocking. It really needs sorting asap. The fact you cant give any feedback online through the website also really says a lot...

    Richard is very unhelpful and rude to my mother , we have complained multiple times and so have other patients he isnt prepared to listen and comes across as very rude

    Closed during weekends which is a bit annoying considering their closing times but people need a break and I suppose it's probably not efficient to hire weekend staff. I'd heard this was the worst surgery in Leicester, and I agreed, but over the past month or two I have had not one complaint. The people I've spoken to on the phone have been lovely and it's not been much of a headache to have to ring up. I've changed from 1 star to 3 but waiting to change to 5 as it's only early days.

    My wife has been trying to book a appointment for over a week now. Itโ€™s impossible to get one if youโ€™re trying to call in. Also the online booking system does not work either. How are people supposed to book appointments? - not everyone can queue outside at 8am as they have to go to work.

    I am unable to fault this practice. Whilst i understand other peoples comments. My experience with the nurses and doctors has been amazing. My parents go to a practice in Wigston, of which I do not share the same respect for. The staff at south wigston, take time to get to know, understand and re assure. Key strengths of the good old days of a local GP. Keep up the good work all.

    And absolute bunch of incompetent idiots. They do not care about their patients and just fob them off to get them out of the door. Surgery's like this are why the NHS is failing so badly, money aside, the staff don't care. Shut the place down.

    Found the service great from receptionists and doctors. Very friendly. Surprising as I transferred from central surgery who seem more abrupt. Calls the next day from doctors when form submitted the day before. Seems to have improved from the past half a year of reviews written.

    One of the worst GP I've ever encountered. You can never get an appointment when's needed. It's better to close this shambolic GP so the tax money is not wasted in this manner. They're nice over the phone, but what good is that if the actual purpose of being GP surgery is not served. All of them staff working here clocks in and clocks out and getting there wages without doing there duties they owe to the people. Shameless.

    Online is only accessible an hour a day and you can only have a single health complaint addressed per slot. Phone system is confusing and just repeats the words "Customer Service Menu" between waiting music loops. Pre registration online did nothing and my in person registration took over a week and hadn't been started until I chased it up. Terrible experience all around.

    this drs use to be good before corona but ever since corona itโ€™s gone down hill. my brother has been waiting to been seen for almost three years!! but they keep turning him down which is diabolical, and iโ€™ve been trying to get a diagnosis for around 3 years and all they keep saying is โ€œitโ€™s your ageโ€ i am almost 17 and it is definitely not just my age as i have gotten worse over the years but everytime i try get an appointment all they do is transfer me to cahms which isnโ€™t what i want as cahms is no help

    21 min in from half 8 116 calls my partner 110 calls staff are decent but I need medication only a dr can prescribe almost in possible to get thro or talk to these people clearly these guys are over worked and the surgery is clearly overly busy so do yourself a favor n jus move surgerys I'll be doing jus this shame good drs

๐Ÿ‘ Very nice pleasant atmosphere and waitress service excellent - very courteous and a smiling welcome. The fish and chips were very nice. The interior of the Two Steeples is very smart, clean and comfortable. I would definitely go again.
