Lovely little coffee roastery in the heart of the Viertel. Wide selection of coffees and teas, paired with a competent and friendly service. I particularly apprecuate their own mix "Espresso Spezial". They honour the city's tradition as coffee capital of Germany. Always a pleasure.

Ich kaufe schon seit Jahren Kaffee und Tee bei Hemken. Ich liebe den Espresso Classic und beim Kaffee die Französische Mischung. Beim Tee ist es die Fruchtwucht und der Chai Elephant Vanilla. Das Sortiment wird natürlich dominiert von fair und direct trade Produkten und Bio sowieso. Der Inhaber ist einfach Klasse, und seit einiger Zeit gehört auch die zauberhafte Tochter zum Team. Die Beratung ist immer top, egal wer hinterm Tresen steht.

Mitten im Bremer Viertel bekommt man selbstgerösteten Kaffee in sehr guter Qualität aus fachkundiger und sehr freundlicher Hand. Für mich ist es eine der besten Röstereien, die ich in Bremen kenne. Selbst in Home-Office Zeiten ist es möglich sich den Tee, Kaffee über den online-Shop nach Hause liefern zu lassen. Ich werde wiederkommen! ☕️

I just discovered this Kaffee-Rösterei this year. They have a great selection of freshly-roasted coffees as well as a large selection of teas. The staff are very knowledgeable and will recommend coffees for each type of machine you use. This is the only Rösterei in Viertel and well-worth visiting for quality coffee. A much better taste than vacuum-packed coffee from the supermarket!

I have now tried all types of coffee and, apart from personal preferences, there is simply none that didn't taste great! And that at affordable prices. For me the best roastery in Bremen! Please keep it up. Your Instagram appearance is also great! :)

Incredibly bad espresso beans! Totally burnt, sour and bitter in taste! The staff is very friendly and helpful... But the coffee beans really bad! They immediately ended up in the trash! It's a shame about the money and the beans, Mr. Hemken... Never again!

I've been visiting the sweet shop for a long time and now I'm taking the time to write a well-deserved review. Really delicious tea but I have not expected it to be with added aroma. I bought a small pack of early gray with blue flower tea and really like the flavour so I bought a big bag. When I read carefully it was written that it is Aromatiesert tea. It was my mistake of not reading carefully as I have not expected an exclusive tea store like you adds aroma to the product.

Friends of fine taste watch out! This aromatic insider tip is located in the middle of the Bremen district! When I opened the shop door, I was greeted by the smell of roasted coffee beans. Where else can you find something like that?! When I was looking for Christmas presents, I was successfully guided through the variety of coffees and teas by the friendly and competent service staff; Now I'm prepared for the Christmas tree. What a lovely place and man. I personally am not a coffee person but went to buy coffee as a gift . He was very nice and explained things to me and didn't hesitate to do it all in English as my German is not so good. He had lovely energy and the store itself is small but magical... ✨✨✨✨ I recommend this store for sure!
