Me and my family go every year and always stay at a new hotel cause it’s hard to find a nice one. I absolutely loved staying here. They had a elevator so we didn’t have to carry a bunch of bags up. The rooms were so nice and clean. The floors weren’t all sandy and dirty like the other places I stayed. The bed was so fluffy and soft. We had a nice hot tub in our room. The restaurant made such good food and it made it very convenient having a restaurant right in the same place. Loved going down in the morning being able to order pancakes. Even their coffee was great. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was awesome as well as the outside pool. I 100% will stay here again. Im so happy I didn’t listen to some of the reviews. Even the employees were all nice and friendly. The best part is the boardwalk is right next to this hotel.

Went for a beef and beer, what a great time. Live band of Animal House. So much fun. We are actually thinking of going there for new years Eve, it was such a great time

Only went for the hot tub and pool so my rating is low . The hot tubs were off temp/cold and the pool the tiny and cold but clean. The lady at the desk was super friendly & gym was very clean. I couldn't find the sauna but that's OK. Views were incredible.

Had a wonderful experience for the 3 nights we spent here. We absolutely loved the indoor rooftop pool and hot tubs. Rooms and pools were super clean. We stayed in the tower and there wasn't the common musty smell as in some hotels in the area. I'm severely allergic to mold and pets so this was a concern as we haven't stayed here previously. We arrived and I had no allergy issues! So grateful we chose this hotel. Room service cleaned and restocked the rooms daily. We brought our own coffee pot as we were told there wouldn't be one upon booking over the phone. Thankful they let us know in advance. 1 block from boardwalk. We rarely moved our car to go anywhere. The tower is completely handicap accessible with plenty of space in room to store my mom's mobility scooter. The downstairs restaurant food was amazing as well! We will absolutely stay here again!

Great location, extremely helpful and attentive staff, spacious room and a fun place to stay. Our room was overlooking the outdoor pool (yes, this hotel also has an indoor pool & spa/fitness center). Nice free entertainment with a poolside bar during the day, and quiet time after 11pm strictly enforced. Just a few steps from the Boardwalk between the two piers. Couldn't ask for a better stay/experience. Hospitality done right!

Over all I’d say this place was 3 stairs. Staff was really friendly! Rooms were ok. traveling with small children I wish our room had a deadbolt lock like most modern hotels have. Our 2 year old kept opening the door and I was worried about the pool on the 1st floor. Over all not a bad place but, think it needs a few updates for safety for smaller guest. I will also say something positive about one staff member our child throw up and, she was off duty for the night without hesitation she helped clean up after our son.

For the price near the boardwalk and beach, it is very affordable. I must say the rooms are outdated and some towels have hair strands. We never tried their pool since it looks too much chemical on it. Service is good, can't complain.

Our room had a leak with possible mold. The staff was extremely rude and disrespectful. They made no attempt to solve the problem or find another room. I requested a refund for the last night, as I did not want to stay longer than I needed. They were unwilling to offer compensation but were quite ok with providing us with a subpar room. With young children and a water on the floor, they showed minimal concern for the safety of their patrons. This place is just looking to take your $$$. Look elsewhere for a safe and fun beach stay. UPDATE: The tone and attitude of the response below, was the same tone provided on-site. Poor customer service. The only refund requested was for the night after my son’s soccer tournament. We left the “resort” ASAP.

The Bolero Resort & Hotel was just totally Awesome!! I give it 5 Stars across the Boards!! I strongly encourage people to try the Steak Roll ups they offer as either Bar Food or an appetizer!! That had to be some of the best food I ever ate in my life. Their Mud Slides were Spot On as well. Alot of things can be said for an establishment if they can make a Solid Drink & this place did!!

The only thing good about my stay was he price. I reserved for the family package 7 days 6 nights free breakfast daily and $100 gift card for like $1300 but when I checked in the line was long with not seating available to wait, only one elevator I got to my room and immediately someone walks right in and tells me the ac was broken and they had to turn it off. Received no notice no updates nothing knowing that it was a heatwave outside. It took the maintenance main 2 hours to come back and just a little under 4 hours to repair. Breakfast there was no option for non pork items, sometimes there’s only one waitress, when there was more than one our waitress went missing for over 20 minutes. I didn’t like that there wasn’t and option for us to split up the food voucher and a few family members can go at different times. Another issue was the outdoor pool areas we aren’t even allowed to bring water into because there is a bar which only had one bar tender and it’s takes about 10 minutes to make their signature drink the pineapple Wally. My family had a great time but I wish our stay was a better experience because we would have spent more time enjoying the pool, bar and restaurant. Another thing was our ac never got fixed, it was a consistent 70 degrees out entire stay.

While the rooms do seem somewhat upgraded, the picture shared online are definitely deceptive. Our bathroom had mold in the ceiling tiles. The person who came to clean our room didn't clean the bathroom nor make the beds. For the amount of money we spent, we expected a little bit more. Was close to Beach and boardwalk, so that was good.

Our third time here and we love it every time. Its only one block away from the boardwalk and very clean with friendly workers. They have two pools. One inside and one out side. They also have a bar inside and outside too. The only thing that we didn't like was the breakfast food that much. Other than that it was great.

This place is great! They have a pool bar with a bar food menu that a food runner will bring to you. Only thing is you pay for your food tab and drink tab separately but no big deal. Their bathrooms are located inside at the Blue Water Grill restaurant and bar. We used them multiple times over the weekend and they were always clean and stocked with supplies. The bar even had DJ entertainment and a dance floor. Lots of fun and the staff we interacted with were very nice.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I paid a tidy sum of money for a 2 room suite. The room was nothing like the pictures. The only view we had was a concrete wall. There were 2 beds, a TV and a small night table in the bedroom. No closet, no alarm clock, no dresser. The bathroom looked like a gas station bathroom with a shower stall. The living room area was a joke. There was the last guests' smelly food left in the fridge that didn't work. Made me concerned that the room had not been cleaned prior to us checking in. The tiki bar outside had 2 great bartenders, Kaitlyn and Diana. That was the only nice thing I could say about that. Garbage blowing all over outside. The carpeting has not been cleaned since they remodeled. The elevator, yes just one tiny 4 person elevator was never cleaned at least the 4 days we were there.

The rooms are clean and I like the hard surface flooring in this hotel rather than carpet. Front desk staff was pleasant, and check in and out was painless. The pool was nice but there were a lot of people in there. My room was in the tower section and the walls were very thin. It was very difficult to sleep. A family next door couldn't control their children who were running up and down the halls and slamming the door, even playing a game of slamming the door repeatedly. I was considering speaking with them, but obviously they didn't care about other people. Even normal people walking through the hall were really easy to hear. The bed was pretty hard and also very noisy. I didn't sleep well at all. I wanted to enjoy this place, but I was a little disappointed. I highly suggest ear plugs.

Went to bolero for a new years vacation package that they had and it was a great time. Dinner and breakfast was included there was a band there every night. The rooms have been recently renovated and we’re good the only thing is they could work on water pressure in shower but overall it was a great experience.

Every year we visit the Bolero for my son's Birthday. 1/19-1/21. We always request a suite in the Tower so that we don't have to walk out into the cold after visiting the beautiful, indoor, rooftop pool. This year, the friendly front desk woman quickly changed her demeanor when I asked to confirm that we were on the poolside. Seemingly annoyed, she aggressively batted at the keyboard and snapped “There's an up charge, just so you know, IF it's even available” I was taken aback. Side note: She was fine up to this point, we were laughing and joking so I was shocked. I tried to explain that I spoke with someone 2 times earlier this week (I was told that it was not an issue to have a tower room) and we have done it this way without issue since I always call in advance. She rudely cut me off mid sentence and repeated “this was an on line booking, this was an on line booking”.. not allowing me to explain that I spoke to someone, she literally kept cutting me off repeating the same phrase, each time becoming more and more condescending. I kept my cool, surprisingly. The hotel was mostly empty, due to the weather and being January. I didn't want to start the weekend off poorly so I said ok, I didnt mean to cause an issue. We will take the room given. Her reply was “Fine”. I was fuming with the remaining attitude. Her behavior was not warranted at all. Mind you, the hotel was near empty. We were put on the outside second floor, to climb slippery stairs, walk an unsalted sidewalk, all with 2 kids. Meanwhile, there were rooms inside the tower that I didn't care about the upcharge. There was a nice gentleman outside who helped us carry our bags upstairs that we were grateful crossing paths with. It was actively snowing all weekend. The manager Tom was very nice. Although, I do feel that he was given some sort of heads up from the front desk girl to ward off any negative response we may have offered him. We didn't. Initially, the first interaction with Tom felt uncomfortable but that could have just been my perspective. As we settled in, maybe he recognized that we werent the bad guys. Tom went out of his way to Interact with the kids and even gave them a ball to play with. He made the kids laugh and gave them special attention. We truly appreciated that because it made us feel more at ease. The indoor pool, sauna, and hot tubs are a huge selling point to this hotel. The spa area was uncomfortably cold. We were literally shivering. Previous years it was comfortable, this year it was not even close. The winter rates are about ½ compared to in season rates. Still, for over $400 the receptionist should have a little grace, especially to returning customers. Needless to say we are strongly contemplating ever returning after 5 years of doing so. It's a shame but nobody should be made to feel that way. I'm very organized and look forward to this trip every year. I tip well and leave the room spotless. I do my part but felt like we were under a microscope our entire stay. The experience was sub par at best compared to previous years. Being placed in an outside room in the snow, and the attitude from reception, deterred us from going to the pool as often and restaurant. Thumbs down this time. As for no smoking on premises with an additional $100 fee to ensure that you don't.... the smell of weed was over baring and constant!!! The mouse traps under the beds threw me off as well.

I just had the ABSOLUTE worst experience with management. My brother booked a room for Feb 1 - 4th and our father is passing. We where told end of life this week and to prepare. I explained this to the manager and did my due diligence to find out if there were still vacancy on the room my brother purchased and plenty of these particular rooms were available. I tried to cancel, and the manager was probably the worst person I've ever spoken too in customer service. I don't know how he even has a job! He asked for our fathers last death paperwork? I told him he needed sensitivity training me and he the audacity to me, I need the sensitivity training. He needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!!! I would never recommend anyome stay at this location due to the complete disrespect from Management until this man is relocated to another location, because I wouldn't feel safe for even myself or children staying in anywhere with him in the building!!!

The agency I work for has a program for health and suggested to look for local fitness clubs I would never have found this small gem had I not followed suit and searched for a health club. I almost did not want to share but the fact that there are so many nice gyms in the area ranging from outdoors and more pop up events at the pier or classics like atillas plus this place as icing on the cake allow for a perfect grand slam of contributions to qualify of living. Very welcoming as is even without the gym. I think it quite affordable for year around also and I also run a good amount and have to note how well cordoned off the place is for a very very busy intersection. It is walkable for me so I dont worry about the exit or entrance for that matter following tough work outs or swims or other distractions but it is a tough intersection. The bigger crowds dont matter me and it is also remarkable how quick it can change / turnover.

We got a deluxe room for our family. The rooms are very meh.the beds are terrible. The other accommodations in the rooms are very subpar. The staff is very nice. What made this the one star review besides the room is that you spend all this money especially for the bigger rooms and they don't even give you some kind of breakfast. Hell I'll take two pop tarts or something for my kiddos.

I thought the hotel was great the staff was outstanding the pools n hot tubs were clean . The bars were great . The rooms were clean . The only thing that I would change are leaving little bottles of shampoo n conditioner n body wash other than that I’ll definitely be staying again. I do have to say that Tom was my favorite I honestly only saw him once in the days I was there but he was friendly helpful has a great personality and does a great job!

Overall a great and pleasant experience!!! Polite and Courteous staff! Rooms were nicely renovated with comfy beds! Great pools , jacuzzi, sauna and fitness center to enjoy. Some of the Guests staying were loud playing their music and smoking ( hotel security did address the issue) I plan to return in the near future.

First time here, and I loved it. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. Indoor hot tub and steam room. Gym also. The room was nice and clean and more modern. And very close to the cool part of the wildwood boardwalk. I recommend this place for sure

Only 2 blocks from the boardwalk this hotel was an easy stay for our cheer competitions. The rooms seem to be updated, though the bathrooms are tiny. The only complaint we had about the rooms was we couldn't hook up our roku for the kids to watch their favorite shows while we got ready for the competitions. The pool was nice with 2 hotubs and my husband enjoyed having the weight room right outside the pool deck so he could still be with us.

Good entertainment during the day, as well as surprisingly (good) cheap cocktails! But lack of parking, awful signal (and terrible wifi) as well as like no cable at all make it a very mediocre stay. Would be two stars but the very friendly staff brought it up.

EXCELLENT property!! The rooms were a little dated but definitely were not bad. Bed and pull out definitely left a lot to be desired. Hotel is great all around, service from staff was exceptional. The weight/fitness area is top notch, pool area looked great too. The only gripe would be the one elevator in the tower and the band was super loud on the weekend... (Which the bands were AWESOME!!) BUT definitely could lower the volume a little. The attached restaurant/bar was great, had several meals there. Food was consistently good, service.. ehhh. Depended on time of day and the server but nothing outlandish. We would definitely return and absolutely would visit the restaurant. Highly recommend the roast beef, shrimp and burgers.. all great.

The staff are very friendly and helpful! I would give the hotel five stars if the rooms had better entertainment (no guide, grainy reception, maybe 10 channels, no sleep timers), a coffee maker, actual blankets on the beds, and on-site parking. I would return to this hotel though. I can adapt, but I know some guests would be put off by all this.

My friend and I just came back from a 4 night vacation here. I am so happy we stayed here. The service was amazing and the workers were all so kind and friendly. Our toilet was broken and we told the front desk and time we got back from our day it was fixed. They fixed it immediately. Nothing else was touched in our room. The hotel was so clean and so were the rooms. The house keeper were friendly and gave us extra towels and trash bags when we needed it. We also used the amenities in the hotel such as the rooftop pool, hot tub and steam room. It was so clean and well kept. If I was not tired from my trip I would have used the Gym as well. The outside pool is also so nice with a bar. Again all the workers were so nice, whenever we needed or had any questions. The day we left, I realized I left my charger in the room. Called the hotel and immediately called me back in 30 minutes after they found it in my room. It is being shipped out to me as I type this. Thank you for an awesome and safe stay, can not wait to come back next year.

i stayed in a suite for the weekend recently. pros: great location, food and helpful staff . cons: no lifeguard at the pool, children left unattended in the pool and break rules by playing softball and jumping in the pool, carpet and windows in the tower need to be cleaned as its very dirty. price wise a bit overpriced ; expected the facility to be cleaner with the offering price.

Rooms are nice, great inside and outside pools, and great location. My only complaint is cleanliness of certain areas. The floor needs to be mopped desperately and the sheets on the pull out couch looked like they had never been changed. But we loved everything else about our stay!

This was our first time staying at this hotel and I have to say it was a very good experience. The staff was very polite and professional. Shot out to Matt at the front desk for helping us with our last minute extra accommodations. Our room was very nice and clean, we definitely enjoyed ourselves at the pool and the drinks at the bar were on point. The location is perfect (only 2 blocks away from the boardwalk). We had stayed at other places but this one is by far the best and we will definitely come back.
