Great gaffer fantastic home cooked food,Sunday dinners exceptional, friendly atmosphere good selection of beers and lagers what more could you ask for.

Lovely pub with a very friendly atmosphere and service and the meal was excellent and quite propositional, T bone steak was excellent and was the gammon meal, very highly recommend the navigation definitely going there again 😀

Great Sunday lunch but could do with being served hot. Lovely cheesecake made by Emma, absolutely delicious. Prices reasonable.

So on arrival we get handed a full menu after chosen to have the fish we get told there is only.Sunday rost and no starters which I would have liked to have the soup. We ask to have the baguette and was told we could only eat that at the bar not with the rest of the family. The staff decided to clear the table before everone had finished.have gave 2 cstars because the food was okay but I will not be back again

What a beautiful pub. The last time we came here was 6 years ago and the food was excellent. We expected it to be good and it did not fail. We phoned our booking and our table was waiting. It looked to have been refurbished since we were last there, it looked more spacial and brighter. The staff were lovely, and even went out of their way to alter my meal as I am calorie counting, nothing was too much trouble. We both had steak and as expected it was cooked to perfection. We didn't have to wait long for food. I would imagine it can get busy so booking I would say is recommended.

Sunday Roast was beautiful.. ordered through just eat.. lovely ..

The pub overall is tired along with the owner who can barely raise a smile, bar counter is sticky never seen anyone wipe the bar over after drinks get spilt, dart board position is a joke right next to the pool table if this is your idea of a good venue then crack on.

Food was faultless, I has the small roast beef for £5.99 which was not small at all, great value for money. The service was lacking as we had to wait about 25 minutes between being seated and receiving the menus. I think we had been forgotten. In fairness it was very busy at the time, but we had almost finished our drinks before we had even seen the menu.

Lovely place to visit friendly and helpful staff food arrived in really good time and we werent all crammed in would deffinatly recomend .we cant wait for our next visit

I cannot believe I have never ate at this little gem. Had a girly night last night, we all ordered different food and everyones was first class. I had the monkfish, king prawn tagliatelle 👌and the homemade chips are to die for!. The staff were fab, guidelines in place, we will definitely be returning. Thank you 😁 ☆☆☆☆☆

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family clean with good service would defiantly go again.

I had breakfast it was fantastic under new management Steve the restaurant is spotlessly clean and friendly staff Later popped in for a pint in the afternoon and sat outside by the children's park.

Food was nice and staff really friendly. Knocked it down from a 5* because in a group of 6, all our meals came out separately and was quite a wait between first and last meal coming out, which just made it a bit awkward

Had a lovely Sunday roast, choice of 3 meats or you can have a bit of all 3..atmosphere was good, service was great, had to wait a short while for dinner but when it's served it's steaming hot and a generous amount..staff are great ..we will be going back..Best to phone and book Sunday roast, don't know if you have to book any other times..they also do a morning menu like full English and loads of other stuff..

Went for a meal with colleagues after work, small but nice comfortable layout, we all had fish and chips, home made, pleasant staff, nice food, car park at the rear, toddler friendly but wheelchair will struggle thru narrow doors ( old building) have been before never a problem

3/4 hr wait for food, but nice when arrived

Never again. 10oz fillet steak contained 5oz fat and gristle. I told the waitress, she went to the kitchen to talk to the chef. She came back and said the butcher was at fault. Waitress was attentive, puddings were nice but was not offered any compensation for such a disgusting piece of steak

First visit for a family meal today. The food and service was excellent. Very affordable too. Would definitely recommend.
