It was the first time visiting the restaurant this evening and I walked away with a beaming smile. The service was fantastic, staff were very attentive and had even made my 3 children feel very special and welcome. Complimentary drinks were given to us and staff made every effort to make us feel relaxed and welcome. The food was so authentic and delicious! The lamb rogan josh was so tender and flavourful. The ambience was calming and I did not feel pressured at all to select what to eat. The variety of food on the menu was very good, the information provided by staff regarding various dishes was informative and useful when making selections. I will certainly share my positive experience with my dear ones and will surely dine at this restaurant regularly.

Lovely place ,very good service, warm and friendly staff lovely food. You can always tell if an Indian Restaurant is good.... because Indian's use it. Will definitely eat here again .

After reading most of the reviews we were looking forward to this. However it failed to meet the high expectations we had. We had Butter chicken which was like a mildly spiced tomato soup. This was exactly the same sauce used for the shai paneer. Very few pieces of chicken and the same for the Railway Lamb. The food is nowhere near Punjabi style as they claim it to be very bland and sweet. Its a shame as expected much more.

There are many restaurants that I would describe as good, some even excellent. However, there's another class that has something a little more. Its an almost intangible thing; a mix of the restaurant ambience, clientele, location, professional staff with just the right amount of ‘friendliness’, an owner who is visible and takes a personal interest in his customers, all wrapped together in the arms of an amazing chef. Whatever it is, Roti Pani has it in spades. We’ve had a couple of trips here and I have to say that I would consistently describe the Roti Pani not as good, or excellent but as absolutely superb. Looking forward to the next visit which I guarantee you won't be far off.

So I came across this place by mistake, so had to look online. What attracted me to the place was the authentic menu of home cooked traditional style dishes. Me my partner and daughter came in we didn't book and had to wait a shirt while before being seated. The service was brilliant and the staff showed commonsense, confidence and great practice. The food was amazing fresh and hot. I can't say one bad thing about the food. Service was timed right and drinks were brought out swiftly. I'm so happy I've found this little gem we will be back ASAP. We 100% recommend this place. It's 5 stars from us Kind regards champayne

Dined in over weekend, hadn't booked but they accommodated us. Service was excellent along with food. Had butter chicken and karachi chicken with poppadoms. We normally order takeaways and they never disappoint, must be our timing based on other reviews. Parking area was full but we'd walked. They do need a reception area for those who haven't been there before.

We ordered for delivery a vegetable korma, chicken tikka masala x 2, chicken & lamb tikka masala (that came with only lamb), 5 egg fried rice , onion fried rice and a portion of onion bhaji’s Very disappointed with the korma didn’t look or taste like a korma so what was in the photo was left for the bin unfortunately. The tikka masalas we’re spicy, so my kids left them so I then had to cook something else because kids being kids they were hungry . I’m no expert but I’ve eaten enough tikka masalas to know this is the odd one out. Others were red and sweet these were spicy and more balti coloured Even the side dips were spicy So all in all I’ve just wasted £81 And no I shouldn’t have to ask for the meals I selected to not have spice because they’re not hot dishes I’m not trying to be awkward but in this climate this was our one and only takeaway treat for this month and it was a disaster

It was my first time eating here and I won't be returning. We had a table booked for 7pm for 8 people, ordered our food around 7.35 and it didn't arrive until 9pm. After around 40mins we started asking where our food was and the servers never gave us a straight answer, not even an estimated time. The service was terrible, nothing to compensate us like a free drink or a few quid knocked off the bill. I mean they could have at least given us some free poppadoms to kill our hunger while we waited but nothing, customer service was very poor. They did have a party going on upstairs but that's no excuse as there was a table of 5 that had ordered after us and received their food before us. We were all so hungry and ready to walk out by the time the food came out and when it did we all cheered then they got one of our orders wrong and forgot some of the orders. One meal wasn't even hot, just warm. I was disappointed with their salad, it was literally 4 slices of tomato, cucumber & chilli's, lots of red onion and literally a little bit of shredded lettuce. I wouldn't even call it a salad and it cost £3.75.. absolutely disgusting. The food wasn't too bad but I've eaten at better places, cheaper too and honestly after the bad service and long wait it just wasn't worth it in the end. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all.

Really very delicious food , enjoyed full meal , very good service, the cook was very nice personally came to us to ask about how was food , it was really very tasty , definitely recommended who is looking for good and tasty food , staff really nice 😊😊😊😊😊

It will be difficult to put my name experience in words, I come from India and eating here felt like I was enjoying the food somewhere in India, I am originally from Leeds and any time I am passing Birmingham I will stop here without stop…. Also there was a feeling that I am somewhere in a hill station in India….. This the best I have tried in all sense the Manager “Prabhat” excellent gentleman…God bless this place… keep doing the hard work, you can simply ask Prabhat to what’s the best thing to eat…👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Don't belive on this robbers, they mentioned differently and charge you too much. Total scam don't go there, before order make sure check there price on phone, calculate your order check your receipt then pay after. Totally robbers rubbish.

It’s always a pleasure to come here !! We come here often and it is amazing! The food is delicious, full of flavour and I would definitely recommend the mixed grill and chilli fish for a starter. The staff are also lovely, kind and friendly and always welcome us with a smile and polite conversation. Definitely the best place to go for food in the area . If you haven’t been here you must definitely try it !! 🤍

Nice food, decent value. Handy for me after work for a some excellent food. Would definitely recommend. A lot of the mixed grill pubs are getting more popular lately but the food here is definitely worth a try.

Disappointed with the food. The food was cold when it arrived, had to warm everything up. The chips was fries not chips and they was soggy. There was no poppadoms included, every other restaurant that I’ve been to includes them for free in the order. Ordered Cheese Naan bread, but hardly any cheese in there. First time here and very disappointed, won’t be returning back.

One of the best places to eat in Wolverhampton tbh. Authentic taste, humble staff, and overall a nice place to sit and eat with your family. Decent prices and they serve value for money. There’s also parking on site which is convenient… I’m going to be a regular here. Loved it ❤️

We were really looking forward to our delivery from here. Well what a disappointment. The only saving grace was the naan! the papad bland! The saag paneer although there was a generous amount of paneer the “saag” was not what we punjabis call saag. The butter chicken lacked flavour. The rice was half cooked. My advice is don’t bother! There are much better indian eateries within a short distance of here. Safe to say we shan’t be returning.

Last night was our first visit, this place was recommended by Asian work colleagues and complete strangers who overheard us talking about plans to visit. First I want to start with the negatives: Smile, during our visit only one waitress smiled it costs nothing but adds a lot to your patrons experience. Toilets, should be checked regularly while open, there were paper towels all over the men's and women's wasn't much better. Service, felt chaotic & rushed, drinks arriving after starters, main course laid immediately after clearing starter, not much gap between to digest. The Positives: The food was amazing, the seekh kebabs the best we've ever had and the biryani's tasted fresh with good sized chunks of lamb and chicken. Authentic home cooking on a professional level. Prices appeared high until you taste the food and see the portions size, we'd have taken a doggy bag if we'd not been going elsewhere. The restaurant it's self was warm and clean. Will definitely be returning.

We had a great experience! The staff were really friendly,and the food was amazing. We especially loved the Shahi paneer. Definitely will come again!

We order dinner from this place with delivery . When we place the order, house number was wrong. We called straight away in and spoke with Vijay wich assure us everything is ok. We were waiting for more then 70 min and Deliveroo showed us food was delivered. We call again and we asked were is the food because it shows delivered and we have no dinner. Guru (a worker in this place) Answer was that we were supposed to call them in shop to order not true Deliveroo. 60£ are gone no dinner , no money back nothing. My advice do not order!! this people are not to trust. All the best

Visited Roti Pani for our sons birthday tonight and couldn't be more impressed. We had previously ordered from here as delivery and the food both as a delivery and in restaurant was consistent. The food is amazing and the service was incredible. The food is also decently priced - the excellent quality of the food you'd expect to pay far more for. The staff couldn't do enough. The restaurant is beautiful inside and there is parking too. They also went out of their way to cater for my youngest who cannot eat spicy food. The staff were attentive despite there being a large group in attendance to. Will definitely be returning! Thank you!

First experience being welcomed at roti pani! My family and I loved it, the food was served hot and delicious- definitely coming back here again! Special thanks to Aman for making sure we were taken care of and made sure we had a lovely night! Definitely would recommend roti pani to anyone who loves hot n spicy Indian food along with a cheeky drink 😉

Excellent all round, we were there for a family birthday and I tasted a couple of the meals as well as my own and not only did the Food taste excellent it was extremely well presented. The Staff were ALL very attentive and helpful. Would I eat there again a very big YES, most definitely. The photos are only of some of the starter's we had.
