Aldrich House Bed & Breakfast exceeded my expectations. It was my first stay at a real bed & breakfast. I loved it. The home was beautifully furnished and decorated in Colonial Williamsburg style. The owners are warm and friendly, long-time Williamsburg residents. You cannot beat the location. Tom is a history buff and will answer all your questions - I highly recommend the tour option. The breakfast was better than any I have had at a typical hotel. It was a short trip with my elderly Granddad. He said that he liked the B&B better than a hotel room!

The Aldrich House was the perfect place for our weekend getaway that was still close to home. The house is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We stayed in the Lewis room. It was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast on both mornings was delicious and filling. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful. I would definetly stay here again and also recommend it to anyone.

My family has stayed at the Aldrich House B&B - Tom and Sue Patton's home - for over 10 years. They are warm and welcoming hosts who make every effort to accommodate travelers' needs. As long-time residents, they are also especially knowledgeable about the Williamsburg-Jamestown-Yorktown area. Tom worked for Historic Jamestown in years past and is currently writing an historical novel about the area. Their home is a comfortable, smaller B&B located less than a 5-minute walk from Colonial Williamsburg. It features 3 guest rooms, as well as lovely common areas for lounging, reading, and meeting fellow travelers. Because we usually travel with our adult daughter, we stay in the spacious Anderson Room on the second floor, which features two king beds, a large chest of drawers, a clothes closet, a writing desk, two comfortable wing chairs, a large bench, and a private bath with a shower/tub combination. It's a great place to relax after a day of walking through the Historic District. Members of my family have also stayed in the other two rooms and found both of them to be very comfortable. This is a B&B that lets guests choose their level of sociability. The rooms offer privacy and are great places to put one's feet up and relax. If feeling sociable, the spacious living room at the back of the house is a lovely place to congregate while waiting for breakfast or just to share conversations with other guests. The last two times we have stayed there, we met European travelers - a couple from England and one from Italy. With only three guest rooms and a limited number of guests, it's easy to fall into interesting conversations. The best thing I can say about the Aldrich House is that it's our home away from home while in Williamsburg. We never fail to come home - relaxed and refreshed - and ready to plan our next visit.

Very elegant and clean house. We stayed in the Lewis room and it was very comfortable. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk over to Colonial Williamsburg and less than a 15 min drive to the outlets and Busch Gardens. Tasty breakfast each morning, the sausage gravy and biscuits were my favorite. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

What a great place to stay! Super nice and knowledge hosts. Delicious and hearty breakfasts each morning. Comfortable rooms. Walking distance to downtown Colonial Williamsburg. It just all adds up to a perfect weekend. The Pattons couldn’t be any more helpful and friendly. The Colonial-inspired decor with the large murals take you back in time. We stayed in the Lewis Room and had three great nights of sleep. There are TVs in-room and WiFi throughout the house. The back porch is relaxing and lends itself to having some nice evening conversation. We would 100% stay there again when we come back to “the Burg!”

A large immaculate house, extremely clean and comfortable room. The breakfasts were excellent, an egg dish, a breakfast meat, a breakfast carb (we had French toast one day, banana pancakes the next) and a bowl of mixed berries. All the food was very fresh and delicious, served family style at a table around which all the guests sat, the Host at the head. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the history and attractions of the local area, we learned quite a bit while we had breakfast.

Was the first B and B with my wife ..and I must say. When they call this the home away from home they aren't lying. Our room was very spacious clean all the channels we would want for TV. Wifi was fast and the location is close to the outlets and bush gardens/ parks in Williamsburg. Breakfast was bustin and The owner took the time to talk to us and get to know us. I would definitely be back.

Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. Our hosts Tom and Sue were a great help to us, they gave us great suggestions for must see attractions and good restaurants. Tom is very knowledgeable about the history of Williamsburg and was kind enough to share stories over our morning coffee. Breakfast was always wonderful!
