I will say: the ambiance is very well curated. The decor, music and furnishings were gorgeous. My mocktail was amazing and one person in my party of five enjoyed their meal. Otherwise... we were pretty disappointed. We were all but abandoned after we got our food. The staff was awkward at best, off-putting/borderline rude at worst. "Seared" tuna was overcooked. Crab cakes were absolutely Drenched in wasabi to the point of being inedible. Other dishes were just okay. For $30 a plate, we were really expecting more.

We took my dad here for his birthday because the menu was looked great! We were not disappointed! I had the filet mignon and I could cut it with my butter knife! My husband had the duck and he said it was perfectly cooked and my dad loved his trout! We had strawberry shortcake and Créme Brulee-YUMMM! We highly recommend this restaurant! We are going back tomorrow for my son's birthday!

Honestly, I came here to just see the reviews and if they would be a true reflection of this establishment and the assessment is correct. This was not an off night, they truly feel that the service that they provide is up to par. I would not recommend this restaurant in any capacity. We were all but insulted indirectly and made to feel as if we were not valued, as if we were going to skip out on the check for a lousy $60 bottle of wine (wine list sucks by the way), the waitress was horrible… Every question warranted a strange and pointless remark. We simply asked for cheese on our burgers and her response was “We are a fine dining restaurant we don’t have American cheese”…..! It was giving , “Do you have any grey poutine vibes” without the ambiance and food to match. Before you act all high and mighty, please put a little salt and pepper on the burger!! #geez #finedining #dobetter

The best restaurant in town. Superb chef & wonderful staff. Beautiful ambiance and great wine list.

This is not a place were customer comes first, which greatly impacted our experience. We were not allowed to push our table together to be with the birthday party because the WAITERS GET CONFUSED! I ave been a waitress for 20 years and with 4 tables all our party, 2 waiters can figure it out. Instead we had to sit isolated from our party, and had to spend money on a mediocre meal.

Everything here was delicious! The French press coffee was a real treat. The owners are so nice and the ambiance was lovely.

Great food, friendly staff They are slow, but the food is worth the waiting. We went for a family dinner and were pleasantly surprise to find fine dining in a college town. Worth the effort.

Had dinner here twice in the last couple of weeks and both times very good. At the top of my list for a fancier meal in Williamstown.

In my opinion, Alexander “Sandy” Smith is hands-down, the best chef in Western MA… Been going to his restaurants for over three decades. (I crave his sesame tuna- there is no better) However- as someone who cooks quite well, never before had Thanksgiving to go- but due to family surgey ordered from Gramercy Bistro… ABSOLUTELY TREMENDOUS!!!!!!! Every part was so delicious and well packed family style- perfect portions, even had leftovers. Gravy and homemade cranberry sauce were to die for- squash, green beans, turkey- everything was P•E•R•F•E•C•T! Just 15min in the oven and we had the Thanksgiving dinner you can only dream of… THANK YOU!

Delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the scallops. It's an upscale restaurant with prices to match, but for a reason: much of the food is locally sourced. The crab cake appetizer was full of flavor, and the scallops were served with unique pairings of sauteed and crispy vegetables that worked perfectly together. The filet mignon was traditional, with mashed potato, green beans and carrot, and was cooked to perfection. Romantic atmosphere, and very accommodating staff. My only qualm was with the desert, which was a very dry cake. I have heard many good things about the pastry chef, so this may have been a one-off slice, or perhaps a fancy dry style cake that I've never experienced, but either way, I recommend you stick with a desert with a little more moisture.😬 Drink selection was impressive, and I found a perfect pairing with each dish! Enjoy!
