Pros: beautiful, much bigger than expected, informative, interesting, lots to see and do. Wheelchair, walker and stroller friendly. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cons: take your own drinks unless you want to pay $3.17 for a soda and $2.50 for water. Parking is $15, Went Memorial Day weekend and naturally it was very crowded. Things to buy there are too expensive. But experience was great! Glad we made the trip to go. You’ll spend a good 3-5 hours there and not even mean to. There are 3 levels, multiple snack shops, restroom on every floor, gift shop on ground floor. There are little cafes outside the Ark with seating on the outside, the zoo is next to the Ark as well. You park, then you are bussed up to the Ark. highly recommend going.

Great experience and great for family. To see a life size of the biblical account of Noah’s Ark. You don’t realize the scale until you actually face it. The inside display is beautiful and awesome. The work that they had to do, had to be enormously hard but with help of God it was accomplished. We have cranes but they had ways to build which is mind blowing to figure how. Definitely recommend going on a visit. We also plan to see the other museum.

What an awesome experience! Great for all ages. My 2.5 year old loved it, my husband and I loved it, and my parents loved it. Really puts it in perspective from your childhood thought process of a big boat. The ark held all the animals! This ark encounter sure gave you a real life feel for what is believed to be as accurate as possible. Play areas for kids. A zoo connected to it with some interesting animals! Allow the entire day for fun....we had to cut ourselves short unfortunately. We will definitely be back! They offer stroller rental. Only $10!!!! Worth it, especially without the hassle of bringing your own.

Amazing re-creation of Noah’s Ark, built the same size as the Ark from the Bible’s specifications. We spent nearly all day there — we were happy to find bathrooms on every level, snack shops, gift shops, and places to sit and rest. The Zoo was fantastic too! The whole family will enjoy this very well done exhibit and world-renowned attraction. The restaurant was good too, buffet style so something for everyone.

Awesome experience! We took our 9 year old grandson and we had a great time. The amount of reading in the displays is overwhelming but great, great information. The camel ride and Virtual Reality experience were our grandson's favorites. The food at the all you can eat buffet was all very good and at a reasonable price. Everything was reasonably priced, especially compared to Disney or other major attractions. The quality of everything was on the level of a Disney experience but for a lot less!

This was amazing! I'm so thankful that we were finally able to see this! Very well done, so lifelike! This was well researched and very informative. They answered any question you could think of about the Ark, the animals, what it must have been like, and how could it all have been done. We also saw the virtual encounter that took us back in time to the Ark & the flood! We loved it all! We bought a ticket bundle with the creation museum and saved a little bit. We went to creation museum the day before, then a full day at the ark.

Thank you for the awesome experience! It was amazing to see, walk through, and learn about the awesome God and His love for humanity. Three decks of lessons and displays on how the Ark could have supported Noah his family and the animals. We also went to the Creation museum and really enjoyed it as well. We used three-day so we could take our time and read, learn and enjoy all that the two offers and not feel as though we had to see it all in one day. I would highly recommend visiting here and plan on more than one day.

Out of timeline experience! Hearing about Noah and the Ark growing up in church is one thing, but to see how massive it really was in person is another! Every member of the staff was exceptionally nice! The zoo was awesome. The buffet was one of the best I've ever had. Listened to and met True Song, the Ark Encounters own Christian group. They were phenomenal! Overall, 20 out of 10 on everything! Try to go on normal days if you don't like crowds. Holiday weeks are slammed. But that's to be expected with something so awesome like this! Can't wait to come back!

You must see this place! Pictures don't do justice (though they're helpful). Great experience. Everything was done very well, and I love the attention to detail in every part. It is very well thought out and gradually tells the Bibles story as you go through the Ark. There is plenty of seating to take rests. There are plenty of drink stations and bathrooms. Wasn't too crowded. The books at the gift shop are great. The visual graphics were amazing (kudos to the artist(s)). God food options on-site (a little pricey but worth it).

This was a bucket list item. The family had an incredible time. The Ark is so much larger than you imagine and the detail and craftsmanship it must have taken to make (and reproduce) it is unbelievable. The gift shops are great, the staff was helpful and the grounds are gorgeous. We spent about 4-5 hours wondering. Could have finished sooner or stayed longer if time is an issue. Food and drinks seemed reasonable, a little over priced but not ball park prices! Just go, enjoy it. Thanks KY!

Our trip was absolutely amazing! Your staff is so over the top kind, genuine and caring. I took my disabled mother in law and the staff made sure she was well taken care of. The Ark itself was very clean, bathrooms and snacks on every level. They had staff helping people take pictures and that was awesome. Every thing inside was reasonably priced as well. On the outside, they had a buffet and they food was fresh, hot and tasted delicious. The zoo on the premise was totally a must do too. The animals were lively, and playing aroun, something you don't see with the other zoos. They also looked very healthy. The staff attending to the animals were very knowledgeable and were very caring towards to them as well. Overall, this is definitely worth the drive and money to experience.

Stopped at this on a whim as we were driving by. We had heard about it and were interested so we decided to give it a try. Very impressed with the overall experience. While I can't say I agree with everything I saw, I can say that the facilities were top notch and it was very interesting to see the information they presented. The Ark is huge and the surrounding buildings and restaurant are great too. This is a truly unique place worth visiting.

We were with a group of 300+ people. We were given 5 hours to spend here, 10-3. We definitely felt a bit rushed, but we did it! This was a fun, family-friendly attraction! I would recommend it. (We stayed at the Hilton hotel (less than a mile away)...good nights rest and nice and close. ). We watched a few of the movies offered and likes that they were running on repeat ....on each level of the ark. Our kids enjoyed the carousel and play area and zoo! We liked having different food options available (even still in December). Loved going in December.....enjoyed the Christmas events are a huge plus!!!!

Drove from Texas and I highly recommend this place. It takes you there in the physical. Gives you wisdom and provides answers to so many questions. The staff is amazing! They truly are in the mindset that they work for GOD and not man. That is rare to see. The food at the buffet was good and that place was well run. We went in late Nov so the crowds weren't as big. Also something I didn't check in advance. They are closed on Sunday so the 3 day pass was important when coupled with the Creation museum. Please try the virtual encounter. It's worth the money. Very cool and we are glad we had the experience.

This place was awesome. It just shows how great our God is. Loved the short films that are played on each floor. Must see from bottom to top. Perfect message of truth and hope. I was in awe. The greatness of our fathers love, and mercy and then wrath. What a blessing to have been able to see this. I highly recommend this and the Creation museum package. Go here on the 1st day then the creation on the 2nd. Bring your children and grandchildren and teach them the importance of Noah's Ark. Plant the seed in their hearts that when the Lord is with them, they can do ALL things through Christ whom strengthens them. And if he is for you, can't NOTHING be against them! 🙏🏻💖🙌✝️ A great message and memory to give your children/grandchildren!!

First time visiting the ark and it was AMAZING!!! What a great experience. Very biblical oriented and You're immediately overtaken in awe and admiration of the ark. It was bigger than I thought!!! Gives you a whole different view about how catastrophic the flood was and how much work it took not only to build but to maintain the animals and carry the food. It answers a lot of questions and gives you perspective on possible ways things got done. You walk a lot and it has 3 or 4 levels that gradually go all the way up, there's elevators too and chair you can rent for handicapped people and also strollers for toddlers, please wear comfortable shoes. It takes around 4 to 5 hours seeing everything at a moderate pace The ark gets really packed so try getting there early. We purchased tickets in advance and drove 6 hours but it was well worth it!! I highly recommend the buffet on site and also the 3D experience and petting zoo for children. Lots of souvenirs at the end. I recommend the beverage bottle with unlimited refills as well! We got the ark encounter tickets along with the creation museum and it saved us some money!

What a mind-blowing experience! The Ark Encounter was on our 2022 Summer Bucket-list… and it did NOT disappoint. Such a great place to visit. Worth every cent. I am so grateful for all of the interactive education and Biblical truth presented in ways that drew adults in and children. The Bible came to life for our kids. They want to definitely come back again. Looking forward to The Tower of Babel being built, we will be back again! God Bless The Ark Encounter and everyone who enters.

This experience will forever be a family favorite! We loved getting to see just how big and how amazing the Ark probably was. It genuinely had me thinking about things I've never really considered before. Thank you so much for this recreation of one of the most well known stories of the bible.

Phenomenal experience. The Ark was incredibly well done and they did an excellent job explaining Noah's calling, the building, the flood, feeding/caring for the animals, the cataclysmic events that occurred on the earth during and as a result of the flood and much more! There are 2 short movies to watch and both are great. Especially the final one on the 3rd level. Decent amount of food options around the outside of the Ark and shake snacks and things to nibble on while inside. All in all it's a must do attraction if you are anywhere near and totally worth planning a trip to see it along with the Creation Museum 45 minutes away.

What an amazing experience! Pictures don’t do it justice but we sure took millions. Here’s some information we heard ahead of time and some we wish we would’ve known: 1. It’s A LOT of walking. My parents rented scooters for the whole time we were there and it was a great life decision. No children are supposed to ride the scooters and there are plenty of staff to remind you if you try. Strollers or carriers are great for babies and little walkers. 2. There is A LOT of reading so we took pictures so we could read later and keep the kiddos moving. 3. Outside food/drinks are not allowed but you’re going to want snacks and water for kids. 4. The zoo is lame unless you get there at the right times to pet the kangaroos and ride a camel (before 5 pm). 5. The playground park is awesome but not shaded. 6. There are lots of food options inside the park. Look up Emzara’s Kitchen.

We are very fortunate to have Vision One in Dry Ridge, Ky. Even though we know one of the Doctors personally, we would still patronize this facility. We have never been disappointed in the quality of care and products in the years since they opened. So give them an opportunity to provide you and your family with Vision One care. You will not be disappointed!

It's an amazing place. Informative exhibits housed in the world's largest timber-framed building. The food at Emzara's Kitchen was also very good. A full day is needed to see everything.

This is an awesome experience to which I highly recommend everyone to see! I have nothing negative to say about this attraction. It's one of the best things I've ever done on a vacation! There's lots to see and do and also an excellent buffet for an extremely reasonable price. You will definitely need to eat while there as it's a full day to see and do everything!

This place is amazing!!! It's a must see and visit! Could easily stay all day. We went at night and enjoyed music. Lights, animals, snacks. We went back the night day and went to the ark. It is mind blowing! So much planning and it's beautiful. It is packed with a wealth of info! You could easily spend all day here. We didn't really watch any shows so can't review those. It was just amazing. Go!!

This was tremendous! It was HUGE and well done, presenting a Biblical view with scientific evidence and exhibits explaining how things could have been done. I highly recommend it. It's wheelchair accessible and they have a mobility center on site where folks can rent a motorized scooter if needed. Ramps to all levels and elevators as well. There's also a free zoo on site, outside playground for children, cafe, buffet on the grounds which was crowded but had good food. In the ark on all levels were bathrooms and snack bars. LOTS of walking. Plan to be there several hours and it's crowded. However they have several places you can sit and rest on each level. NOTE: if also going to Creation Museum I recommend getting the 3-day bouncer pass if you can afford it. Both places have so much to see, it's hard to do everything in one day at just one location.

We absolutely enjoyed our visit to the Ark! The ark itself is enormous! I recommend seeing the film that explains the inspiration and building of the ark in the resource center before touring it. There are also other films and speaker presentations shown in this building throughout the day so be sure to pick up a schedule. The exhibits inside the are are very well done. It really gave me an idea of what life would have been like for Noah and his family for all those months. Most of all, I liked the message of God's salvation both then and now. There were numerous areas to purchase food, books and souvenirs inside and outside the ark. The grounds surrounding the ark were beautifully maintained and the variety of plants provided a Garden of Eden type experience. I also enjoyed seeing stelae with hieroglyphics portraying the genesis stories and giving a nod to the ancient near eastern influences of the cultures that arose after the Tower of Babel dispersion. The zoo was also very well done. The keepers were engaging with the animals through the day and they had scheduled keepers talks as well.

Amazing place. So much information. Hard with little ones but absolutely worth it and we will be back when they are bigger (3yo and 8mo) So nice that it’s free for kids under 10. We’re too many ppl though. Thursday morning we visited. I was surprised. Like really a lot, line to walk through floor. That was not my favorite. Other things are fun. Coffee in the beginning is delicious, shops are good, zoo, ark, photo spots. All amazing.

  • 5/5 Dorothy K. 9 months ago on Google
Fun and educational for anyone, bring the entire family. The inside displays about the biblical account of the flood, Noah’s family and God’s redemptive plan are creative, interesting, and awe-inspiring. The outdoor zoo was beautifully kept with garden areas to eat or rest. Many interesting programs throughout the day, some live and some multi-media. Easy to enter and exit the attraction and accessible for all. Plenty of reasonable food options, too.

What an amazing experience. We bought our tickets standing in line, by recommendation from the staff. There is so much to see and learn about. There is food, zip lines. Busses to and from the park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend going if you get the chance

We drove from West Palm Beach , Florida to Kentucky to see this! What an amazing experience we had. I loved the exhibits inside the ark about the facts about the flood, ark, animals and Noah . There was a lot to see. I really enjoyed it. They have gift shops inside and outside the ark. My family loved the outside zoo as well !

Our first time here and we enjoyed like little kids. Service is great, everyone is friendly. They have stuff for adults and kids very informative. Love the picture spots they have available for families. We also went to the buffet restaurant. Their food was ok, good selection.

This place is phenomenal! Just the sheer size is enough to blow your mind. There is so much information in this museum plan to spend the day being amazed. There are scooters for those than can't walk the distance. There is plenty of seating to take a rest as well as vending machines to get snacks to refuel.

This is one of the best experiences I have had. Just driving to the parking lot I was so happy to be here. Seeing the size of the ark up close brings it to life. I can really see the time it took to build this. The facts of the ark and the truth of the Bible are everywhere!! The staff were Fantastic

  • 5/5 Mike R. 7 months ago on Google
Awesome exhibit. We all know it's big.... two of every kind of animal takes some space. But the size is beyond imagination. They do clearly get large crowds. Visit mid week and shoulder season for best experience.

  • 5/5 G O. 7 months ago on Google
Great representation of what Noah's Ark may have been. As there may be some fill in of missing detail, I believe little embellishment. It was a great experience to see what it would have been like. The Ark can been viewed in an hour or so, or to take in every detail 5-6 hrs. The zoo was weak. Playground was great spot for the kids. Food is a little pricey and mediocre. Drinks, I suggest bringing a water bottle. $3.49 for a .5 liter bottle, WOW! There are restrooms, snack & drink spots throughout the Ark & grounds.

  • 5/5 Keri W. 4 months ago on Google
My entire family loved the experience. Very informative and realistic scenes. So real inside that my youngest daughter (4 years old) thought the animals were real. She also asked to go back through it when we were done. We got there at 10:15 and left at 6:20. That was with us going pretty fast through the 3rd floor and about an hour in the restaurant

  • 5/5 Miguel A. 4 months ago on Google
I've gone on my own and then with my family when the Christmas lights are up. The amount of detail in the Ark itself is very impressive. You could spend all day looking at the exhibits inside and reading all of the information and you probably won't be able to finish getting through it all in one day. There is just so much to look at that pictures don't really do it justice. Outside of the Ark there is a zoo with exotic animals, a little petting zoo with farm animals animal actors stage, camel rides, a carousel, a playground for kids, a buffet, and plenty of places to eat throughout. Very clean bathrooms. Whether you are a person of faith, a skeptic or anything in between, I highly recommend checking it out for yourself. People from all walks of life come to see the Ark. The staff members are very pleasant and helpful making it an overall great experience every time.

We went to see the lights. It had become a family tradition. It is better every year. The weather was great this year. We ate at Emzara's and then enjoyed the lights and animals. The staff is always very kind.

This was an awesome trip and definitely worth the drive and $10 for parking! There was a zip line, VR attraction, petting zoo, regular zoo, restaurants, hot chocolate, beautiful lights and lots of shops that had coffee, gifts, ice cream, fudge and things to gift. Perfect event to enjoy around Christmas and we are planning another trip to see the Ark!

Great biblical park!! The giant boat behind me!! You truly feel like your on the ark built by Moses! It takes a few hours to walk around this multi level wooden ship!! It’s as authentic as one would wish! Some great information to read and listen to.. all which explains the story of the ark and it’s place in the Bible. It has everything that Christians want to see! Awesome gift shop and a place that you go...where there is. Nothing else like it! Here I am riding a camel!! 🐪 A must visit!

The craftsmanship of the ark was incredible. However, the experience was tempered by the negligence of staff to socially distance and properly wear mask, if they wore one at all. The buses used to transport persons to the ark location, were stuffy and packed with people. Windows should have been open and limited number of persons on each vehicle. While the tables in the cafe were adequately separated, masses of people were allowed to stand in line over the tables. Several of the servers did not have their masks on properly. My friend and I almost abandoned our tour. We certainly did not take a vast amount of time due to the congestion and disregard for posted laws.

This is a pretty cool place to visit and take your kids to. There is a ton of cool stuff to see inside the ark and a ton of information to learn about the events that happened before during and after the Flood. Parking fee is $10, you pay this at the booth before you enter the parking area. Once you park you buy your tickets and board a shuttle bus that takes you to the Ark location. it is not far, a couple of minutes on the Bus and you arrive at the Answers center, where you get information about the events of the day. From here you can walk around the premises to the Ark, to the petting zoo that includes animals such as kangaroos, camels, goats, llamas, sloths. You can even ride the camels for $8 per person, although this option wasn't available during the day I was there, we did feed the camels some vegetable leafs. They have a few dining restaurants to eat, but it is expensive. For those of you that buy the combo tickets, for the Creation Museum also, I would recommend to not go to both places on the same day because the Creation Museum is 45 minutes away and there is a lot of information at the Museum too, it is kinda too much for one day especially if you have a long drive back home too afterwards. The tickets to the Museum are good for one year, so you have plenty of time to use them if you buy the combo deal that is.

Approaching the Ark is impressive. It really is hugh! You can't keep your eyes off the size of it and, of course, as you get closer to it the bigger it gets. It's in a nice location with easy access from I-75. You drive up to the parking site and pay $10 as you enter. In the center of the parking their is a loading area to take a bus to the Ark. You exit at the lecture hall and bathrooms are located there. You are given a map of the campus and it will show you every place of interest to visit. Yet you're drawn to the Ark. You enter at the base of the Ark and it is an uphill experience from there through four floors of the interior. There is an elevator that can take you to each floor. I would recommend that for health compromised individuals. Be sure to wear good walking shoes. The interior has been well thought out so the flow of people going through with you is not cumbersome. When you get hungry their are a number of places to eat. We are at the restaurant and the food was quite tasty. It is buffet style but the servers dish out the portions. The serving sizes are generous and you get the choice of two desserts from several displayed. We walked the gardens and the zoo area. The grounds are impressive and nicely manicured. There were places we did not go see but it leaves it for further exploration another visit. A note: the whole park is themed around the six days of creation. My only wish was that they gave more attention to the seventh day when on the greatest of all days the Sabbath was created for man and woman.

Great way to spend the day learning about God's creations before and after the flood. Had a real nice lunch at Emzara's kitchen. The Ararat Ridge zoo was definitely worth the visit even though it was kinda chilly out. The VR experience was fun, but a little pricey for just 10 minutes.

It is a lot of walking but there are items readily available for anyone who needs assistance at anytime throughout your visit. It’s fun and interesting for both young and old. The food is amazing too. Especially the “Smokehouse” brisket...definitely give it a try

Such a wonderful experience, and such a fantastic place to make the Bible come alive. We couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We didn’t get to stop and read everything (small kids) but what we did read was wonderful. I’ve followed Ken Ham for years, and it was nice to finally make it! The food in Emzara’s was delicious, the staff throughout the park was so cheerful and friendly... it really was just a great day! We will definitely be back, and can’t wait to check out the creation museum as well.

Absolutely incredible. This is a place that is breath taking and will give any believer the chills. Amazing service, food, and the experience alone is breath taking. If you’re a believer, a person with doubt, or simply curious, please make sure you go here. This is nothing short of visiting the holy land itself.

Vision One office in Dry Ridge is where I go for all my eye care needs. They are friendly, compassionate and patient with me when I need to change an appointment or if I need to stop in for an adjustment with my glasses. I'm thankful for their office so close to my home.

First eye exam, tired of readers. Told how great progressive lens were at a cost of $469.00. They were horrible, couldn't read, went from blurry to clear constantly! They agreed to make regular bifocal readers but no refund. Sold me an expensive pair of glasses and when I couldn't use them offered cheap bifocals but no refund. Feel scammed! Think long and hard and ask what happens if progressives don't work for you. Think vision One Scammed me, will never go there again!

Worth it! I encourage anyone to get the combo and go to the Creation Museum also. And don't plan on spending a couple of hours, you need 2 days atleast if you have kids. I went with my grandparents and we spent 4 hours and didn't even do anything except walk the Ark.

Fabulous for adults. Helpful for agnostics and skeptics to see the possibilities. NOT covid-19 friendly despite published information, sad to say. Staff is SO very kind and friendly. We enjoyed the experience. Much more could be added inside the Ark considering the distance people travel and the entrance fee.

A must see! A lot of good information. Things usually only vaguely understood from Noah's day are made real so that we have a better idea what Genesis is talking about.

Great place to visit and learn about creation. Great exhibits that show you all kinds of stuff. I loved the dragon exhibit.

A lot of walking but very fascinating. Eat before you go. Food and drink is expensive. Plan to be there for several hours.

Way too expensive. They were not following COVID protocols nor limiting the attendance numbers. Nice idea and very thought provoking.

It was interesting, the animals on the ark included dinosaurs.

The food was really expensive and it was not really worth it but still good. A lot of people were not wearing masks. Overall the ark was great!

So close to the truth. An enjoyable and enlightening day in spite of gloomy weather and Covid19 adjustments. The buffet at Emzara's was adapted nicely and was a very good meal.

Overpriced, horrible compliance with COVID guidelines. Attraction itself was okay. Every employee I met was extremely friendly and helpful.
