Great food and good service even though they were short staffed

We must've gotten the B-team. The pizzas were extra flat and dry. The cactus bread was thin, dry, relatively plain, and was never refreshed for the entire hour we were there. The fried chicken was overcooked. The busser over-bussed every table, basically taking any plate that someone wasn't sitting in front of (heard numerous remarks from other customers that went to use the restroom that the food they were working on was gone). Then all at once the servers vanished into the back for about 20 min while plates piled and a slight line formed at the till. Cleanliness was up to par for the most part, the dining room was well lit, and there was no telltale odor of a dirty fryer.

We stopped on our way through town, we’ve been to few locations recently and we will never go back to the one in Willmar. It was busy while we were there, but nothing crazy, plenty of open tables. Part of the pop was out, tasted terrible. We tried at least 3 flavors before finding one that was good yet. When we first arrived there was several pizzas out with only 2-3 pieces remaining, most never got refilled in the 45 minutes we were there. The dessert pizza section had 5 pieces when we arrived and never got refilled in the time we were there. A few pizzas came out while we were there but of course they were gone in seconds. Another customer made a comment that it was always like that at this location. This location was over $12 more expensive than other locations we’ve been to in the last few weeks, it was the same time of day and same amount of people. It was very dirty, my son is 4 and got on the floor to pick something up and it was disgusting, more than just the current days mess. Around the edges by the wall was really bad, there was food that had been there a long time. My husband said the mens bathroom was gross. Nobody clear plates at all while we were eating in the entire dining room that I could see. We left hungry, which is sad considering the price and that it is a buffet. Very disappointing. Do not recommend and we will not be back to this location.

It was a good place to eat an get together with family. The staff was very friendly an great service. They answered all my questions an was satisfied with the answers. Did not know had to put a deposit down for a room to be reserved. Liked the variety of foods on the buffet.

It is a pizza ranch experience. This location had the exact right level of bissy ness. If you know pizza ranch or buffets in general you know what I'm talking about. Enough patrons to keep new and fresh items on the hot bar but not so many people to be crowded. I hope you experience the same bliss.

Great staff and always has fresh pizza! The manager on Tues nights even worked with our son and his food allergy checking foods for us!

Poor selection at evening buffet. Salad bar was almost empty. The pizza and chicken they did have was lacking in any flavor. Was there at 6:00 p.m. Will not return. Very expensive for what you get

We had a party of 17 and had made reservations but management picked that day to not show up. I suppose we could have gotten something to eat had we chosen to sit in the parking lot for a couple of hours. BTW we had a 11:30 reservation and they are supposed to be open at 11:00 am and it was approaching noon before someone with keys came so they could start food prepping.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews, these people just hate life. It’s a $16 lol buffet you expect them to roll out filet mignon?this was my first experience and I thought it was Amazing for $16. Food was fresh and hot. Not a whole lot to chose from but again it’s $16. The chicken was high quality delicious to me. Salad bar was fresh and good. And the dessert pizza was really good. I assume the manager I spoke with, the guy at the front was super nice and helpful

The cleanliness is horrible. Everything you looked at was dirty, gross, sticky and smelly.

Sometimes they have a limited kinds of pizza but it's only because it they had more some would end up going to waste. But the manager is Amazing! I always like going here.

Tables were dirty. We got a high chair and it was sticky and hadn't been washed. Food was ok but not labeled with what it was. Only redeeming factor was that the people were friendly and service was decent.

Thought it was way too small and tables were cramped into walls. Worst though is pizza was constantly out and couldn't keep up. If you're going to have a buffet in a town as big as Willmar then take a lesson from the Chinese buffet and get enough room to support it. The pizza is not great, sure it's fine but unless it's extraordinary pizza you can't have not enough room for that price.

It was extremely messy. Every table was dirty. There was a literal finger nail on a table! The floors are covered in food and are sticky. They brought out the cheese bread once our entire stay. The ice machine didn’t have ice. When we asked the manager about why they didn’t have ice, he said he “couldn’t make the ice appear “. The ice cream machine was broken. I am a little shocked at the conditions of this place. The corporate office needs to step in. Hopefully we can get our money back. 😬

Best chicken I've had at any Pizza Ranch..pizza was also delicious!!

My six year old and my two year old I take to pizza Ranch at least two times a week. There’s this Hispanic girl that is always grumpy at the till. I never complained until today. This girl, came right up into my face and said I am two pennies short After we had already got our cups. I told her do you want me to go home and get the two pennies and she said in a very rude manner well I don’t have two pennies to give you! I thank God this gentleman gave me a nickel. I don’t appreciate the attitude, disrespect and the lack of personal space. My family and I will not be returning until she is terminated.

Extremely great service. Place was clean and staff came to our table consistently to grab dirty plates and silverware. Food was delicious and warm, did not sit out very long. Highly recommend

We stopped here for the first time a couple weeks ago. The check-in guy was friendly and one of the employees was very outgoing and wanted to make sure I was enjoying my experience. I love their (all Pizza Ranch) dessert pizzas. As usual, they made a pizza of our choice and brought it to our table later. This was a good Pizza Ranch experience!
