Our family stopped here for an early dinner. We were greeted and seated reasonably. The waitress was friendly and helpful. We were able to order and received our food quickly under the circumstances. It was clear they were short staffed and overworked. Our food was delicious. The waitress checked on us throughout our meal. Our son loved his apple pie. We would recommend this restaurant.

After spending all day at the hospital, we needed to find a place to have some dinner. So I googled Perkins Restaurant and found one close by. The place was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly! The food was excellent as usual (which is why I googled them) and it was fairly easy to enter as I use a wheelchair. There is also handicapped parking there. My husband and I will definitely come back! 🤗

Just had breakfast this morning and it was great. Typical Perkins food but it was super busy today. Somehow even with the crowd they were able to get the food out in a timely manner. It was hot too! The waiter we had was friendly and always was checking on us.

The server was excellent!!! The cook...not so much. We did arrive close to 8pm, not realizing the close at 8. Asked for marina sauce and was told they were out. Ordered hash brown, got French fries. All orders of French fries were skimpy, ordered soup and was told it had been turned off for the night. I didn't even get my order. The cook said he didn't see it, but didn't offer to make it. My husband split his hamburger with me. The server was so kind, he heated me up a bowl of soup to go with my half sandwich my husband gave me. The food that was received was very good. Thankful for the kind and helpful server.

Most disgusting meal i have had ever, waited 45 minutes for food and then all 5 meals were cold. Took forever to be seated and no it was not that busy. Boy this place has went downhill bad. Our waitress was good but that's the only thing good about whole experience. And I dont usually complain about things like this but this was awful. And we were not the only customers unhappy from what I heard. Never going here again ever!

I've always had great food every time I've been here. Please don't listen to the ones that complain. They need to understand good food takes time to make. They also need to realize that people are short staffed everywhere. I am thankful for an excellent restaurant like Perkins! A nice sit down family friendly place! :)

I had gotten a breakfast platter with cinnamon rolls and eggs and bacon and had added a side of hash browns. First my side of hash browns was $4 and I typically wouldn’t complain if i hadn’t finished them in three bites… I had maybe a half portion of hash browns. Then I opened up my platter and there is no butter, syrup, or anything. As I was eating my dry cinnamon rolls I spotted a hair. That’s where I draw the line. I spent $20 and got maybe 4 bites before I spotted the hair and was to gagged to eat any more.

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Willmar, MN is not a place to write home about. I just sat for a whole hour with my family waiting on food and we were never served. Taking my business elsewhere. 0/10 experience, would not recommend. Terrible service, rude staff, and absolutely no regard for their customers.

This place has gone down Hill so much I will never go there again. Food wasnt bad but the atmosphere as far as being clean fails drastically, garbage was over flowing and laying on the ground right by the front door. Carpets were filthy, windows were dirty and the bathrooms let's just say that I waited till I was home to go. Besides the fact that we paid almost $13 for a waffle, this place is one I'll never go to again and I advise other to pass it on by.

This location says new management. I e gone in there many times. Its obvious they are understaffed. The food is okay. Its usually hot when you get it. I spent a good chunk of my adult career working in the food industry. So, i understand, and I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but the staff needs a bit of help.

We came in after dinner rush on Saturday evening. Only a couple other tables were finishing up. Our meal was freshly prepared, delicious, and quick. We both ordered breakfast items. Our server Jon was excellent and great attitude. Would highly recommend.

Our server at this location, Luisa, was great, but the food quality was subpar for what I normally expect at a Perkins Restaurant. Table and seating areas need a good deep cleaning. The old smells and stickiness of old grease abound at this location. Worth another visit, but do better Perkins!

There was no one waiting. There were open booths. No one greeted us. When hostess finally arrived, said it would be 45 min to hour wait. We left and will not be back ever. Maybe short staffed? Could have been handled better.

I understand places can be understaffed sometimes but it took a long time to get my food. To take ourselves out to restaurants can be costly sometimes and it just seems like it that caused we could have good, timely service. 😊

Sandra is just the best server ever! Very friendly and welcoming! I tried the potato pancakes and OMG they are phenomenal! I’ve never had a potato pancake in my life, but that will be my standard order for Perkins from now on. I also got the strawberry crispers, think strawberry cream egg rolls. Crunchy, sweet and delicious. Excellent choice for lunch, good job Perkins!

Horrible. Dirty blood in men's bathroom. Feet stick to the floor food took a super long time. There as no one else in the place food was cold and Had no taste person who waited on us. Was horrible very slow had to ask for refills when glasses clearly empty most of food was cold never came back to check on us or see if we needed boxes or clear Amy dishes never even brought the bill just a horrible experience

The waitress was impatient and snippy with me. The food was not hot when it arrived, just lukewarm. We had a waffle with egg, and eggs benedict. The sauce had little taste snd was not hot. Only about 5 tables were occupied. Not at all busy. Waitress never came to see if needed anything. When leaving, manager came running out accusing us of not paying. We'd left our money on tsble. Never go here again!

The food taste was very delicious, offers a wide variety of menu to choose from. The waiter was friendly. Observation: The food took a long time and no one informed us if the wait would take longer. A good place to eat with your family, very affordable prices.

Found hair in the food. Waited 20 minutes just to get the bill. Waiter did not come back to check on how everything was.

Epic disaster. The ham and mushrooms omelet had three thin slices of mushrooms. My hash browns were forgotten, they arrived 20 minutes later. My wife ordered over easy eggs, they brought scrambled. It wasn't busy, it was mid afternoon, there were only three other tables occupied, and there was no shortage of staff. We weren't even offered an apology. We definitely won't be back.

was there for breakfast ordered two meals asked the waitress if these would work with the coupon she said yes.went to pay the bill and the manager said he could'nt do it because we didnt order the right thing ,he would not honor what she said or make it right.also saw ants on the pies in the display case.will never go back.

Reading through your reviews everyone is having issues with the waitress and I’m wondering if it’s the same one that attended me and my husband today !! We asked her 3 times to bring his orange juice ! We are Hispanic she never brought it ! But to all the white people sitting around us that hot there after us she gave them all there drinks and creamers and more ! She was the worst and needs to be fired I didn’t get her name but she was an old lady ! We walked out from how bad her service and disrespect was !

This was the worst Perkins I have been to. We sat for 10 minutes before anyone came to are table to get are drinks. Food took over 30 minutes. Floor in dining room was dirty rest rooms were really dirty paper towels all over floor a pear of underwear on the floor, fixers were really dirty as well. Food wasn't that good also. Very disappointed. Won't go back

Horrible service. Place should shut down. We were sat at a dirty table, only given napkins and flatware when we asked, our table had empty pepper shaker and the other co diments were low or missing. Server was untrained and overwhelmed. When food arrived, was told they were out of turkey sausage, forgot my juice, did not bring syrup for pancakes or jelly for toast. Eggs cooked incorrectly. Frankly, the whole place needs to shutter so they can catch up the cleaning and other side work and the get some badly needed training. When asked how my meal was, I said on a scale of 1 to 10, I would say a zero. Host said oh.... Apathy starts at the top. Shut it down.

Food was good, but service was very slow for a Thursday brunch. The parking lot design is terrible! There is no lines to distinguish different spots so I had to make my best assumption on where to park. When I was done with my meal I walk out and find that my car was blocked in from all angles! Also, whoever didn’t use common knowledge and blocked us in, let’s think maybe! Asked the manager if there was anyway he could help and told us in an annoyed manner, “I don’t know, ask the people who are in here and see if it’s their car”! I don’t know how much more could have been done by management, but I did not appreciate the attitude!

As usual we had breakfast for lunch and it was the first time I personally felt I should have sent it back. My food came out very cold and I did end up sick. I didn't say anything to them so its my fault too but I just didn't want my server to feel it was her fault and didn't want her to feel bad. She was very sweet thats why the 2 instead of one. Both stars are for her service NOT the food this time.

We went out for daughters birthday 1pm on a sunday..not busy..was seated within seconds of walking in door.We waited 15 minutes after being seated to get beverages, this was offered by host. Waitress came to table 10 minutes later; no greeting as if we know what we wanted. We ordered appetizer and burgers...never saw the waitress again at one hour mark went to pa for drinks and leave to get scolded in front of other customers when voicing concerns and that we no longer had time to eat.

60 minute wait for food, we waited 3 years to try again and got the same results. I guess it's not meant for anyone without 2 hours to eat. I appreciate the timely response. I might suggest only seating guests that can be served in a timely manner based on the # of servers. Yes that may mean empty seats, but a temporary loss on your end is better than a long-term loss which is what happens when you don't have enough servers and too many customers. Like I said, that's always been the case at this location, so maybe again in 3-5 years we'll try again.
