Awful! Rating should be 0! SP (he won’t provide his name for what are obvious reasons now) will demonstrate above and beyond the worst side of “hospitality”. Including telling guests the hotel card reader does not work, they will need to run an ATM and use cash and charged $60 above the rate provided online. Additional, he then made unauthorized charges to the card that was provided when inquiring about additional nights. He sent a card authorization form with no rate listed. When ask about the rate he did not respond to the email. He was then told in person that he wasn’t responding to email regarding the rate and that we would get a room elsewhere. I then replied again to the email stating I do not authorize any charges to this card. He then charged my card. When approach about removing these charges he mocked the way I spoke. Refused to assist in any way and laughed about it. “Don’t you have anything better to do than bother me?” Unbelievable! If you’re looking for someone to steal from you. This is the place to go. Best Western was lovely and took great care of us.

Please consider another hotel stay. Management over-charged us and we've filed a claim to the BBB. We brought in our own blanket because the room was cold -- management charged us a $300 cleaning fee claiming we had a dog in the room ... a little bit of dog hair likely hit the sheets. After trying to resolve this issue, management decided to say you cannot bring in any personal belongings if you are a dog owner. Be careful with this hotel - we paid with a debit card and we felt like they are taking advantage of us because of that.

The manager (maybe gm, or even owner, he wouldn’t say) whose name is Mike needs to remove himself from the service industry immediately. Unreal how rude he was, needless to say after seeing the other reviews about him here I plan on calling Wyndham first thing Monday morning and turning them on to this guy. AmericInn’s are usually very nice…

This is the dirtiest place I have ever stayed at. The staff is rude and unhelpful. The front desks kids are all in the pool screaming, running, doing flips over our kids heads. Beyond rude. Back door you can barely get your bags through as it only opens about a foot and a half wide. Smells horrible throughout the entire place, could go on and on. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Manager very rude. Up charging on little things. When we brought our dog to a "pet-friendly" hotel they said there are only two rooms that allow dogs and they were taken with a empty parking lot. Manager said to leave it in the car overnight.

Breakfast is over by 9am sharp on the weekends. I feel this is a little early. I was in the kitchen at 0858 And a few of the hot items were already put away. I quick like was trying to make a waffle as the owner was putting the food away all around me. It made me feel uncomfortable and rushed. Hotel is very dated and as such appears unclean. Beds and pillows are uncomfortable. Hand towels in my room were visibly stained / soiled

I give them -15 stars like they told me to go ahead and do that. They are very rude and full of liars. They criticized me because I am deaf and they canceled my room without my verification. This manager is very RUDE and disrespectful.

The manager, GM or whoever was working the 2 days I was there was so rude, he should not be allowed to work in customer service. I rented a room for 2 nights over Christmas, had 2 friends stop over for a visit; we went in the hot tub and he freaked out at me and said no guests allowed here then charged me fees on my way out. The rooms were dusty and my the tv in my room didn’t work. Won’t be booking here ever again.

The room was poorly laid out, and I suspect there may be mold that they're covering up because of the smell from the bathroom. There were two tears in our bed cover shown in the pictures. The shower head only worked on a mist setting, and the shower railing was not properly secured as well as the actual tub. When stepping in, it was obvious that it was not installed correctly. There were alot of paint chips missing that could easily be touched up if they cared at all, but one of the light shades looked like someone decided to take a razor blade to and then used scotch tape to fix it. For the price you're paying, I would not recommend staying here, I know I will never be returning. I am, however, grateful that I never ran into any problems with the staff. Although there weren't really any staff available at the desk ever you always had to call. I was also a little suspicious of the damage on the door directly under the lock. This is just something I have to be careful for as a single woman.

Friendly staff, nice room with a recliner (wonderful addition to any room when traveling), only bad thong was the proximity to the railroad tracks. Wasn't thrilled by the 3-4 trains blaring their horns between 4-7 am.

Do not stay here. Tv was broken when I got to the room, I immediately let the manager on duty know, he came up verified it was broken, apologized and said there were no other rooms available, offered zero discounts for the inconvenience and then charged me $200 for their broken tv six hours after I checked out. Do not stay here unless you want to pay for their broken equipment.

The general manager was absolutely the rudest guy I’ve ever met. He was yelling at guests in the lobby who were not doing anything wrong. When I called to book the reservation he hung up on me after being completely rude on the phone when asking why prices were different than online. During the stay we had an issue in the room and called them to come look at it, he was again rude and when asked if he could do something about it after we just paid $500 to be here, he told us we were good to leave if we were not happy with no refund

This guy robbed me! He told me he can't take a credit card for payment when I went into the motel to check in, even though I booked the room with a card. I cancelled the room and I went and stayed somewhere else that took a card, then the day I was to check out he charged my card for 135$! I called to talk to him and got totally disrespected not just as a customer but as a women when he told me that "women never listen". He refused to give me a refund and told me to go ahead and get an attorney. I have never felt so scared to use a credit card. This is supposed to be a legitimate business. I did get a hold of the BBB so hopefully something will happen. I'm going to the news next!

Do NOT stay here. We booked for 4 nights for work and the 2nd night the key wouldn’t work and they were rude and called the cops on us. Cops said they have this same complaint all the time. As the despite was going on they charged an extra $105 on my cc. I lost out on over $400 they refused to reimburse me. I filed a complaint through BBB which others have too I now see. They also have cameras on the TV.

This AmericInn is in a severe need of a renovation. Very run down hotel. Desk in my room probably would have collapsed if it wasn't leaning against the dresser. Towels and linens are old and feel worn out. Carpet in the room and main areas outdated and worn out. Pillows were 3"thick and flat. I can just keep going with needs for updates. No one at the front desk to check out. Had to ask someone to come to get a receipt. Person behind the counter was friendly though. Probably worth the extra $50 do go to the Holiday Inn Express down the road. I should have known better!

Had some problems keeping the room, key card had issues, and, oddly enough, the owner/operator gets annoyed when you wake him twice at 2ish in the morning... To be fair, the first time is because they jacked up my key card due to room booking issues. Those issues were NOT the local business's fault. The 2nd time was because I accidentally left my key card in my room; I got thrown off by the card's previous failure... The loyalty program is confusing, customer service reps are clueless, and the national set up caused grief for me, my friend, and the owner/operator of the local business. If you get things squared away with the local person, you are golden. Note: at one point I officially had no room. The local manager did not touch my things. He just made sure the bill got fixed!

I was traveling for business and had a last minute reservation. SP was very accommodating and it was nice that he recognized me and acknowledged me by name when coming in and out. The lobby area is pleasant and was easy to sit and get work done. The stay was quiet and the rooms had everything needed, including a personal coffee maker which was unexpected. I would likely stay here again.

The shower didn't drain. Lightbulbs out in the bathroom. The pictures they show online for their rooms, are not the rooms they have here. Maybe pictures they pulled off the internet. Will not ever stay here again. Poor quality for the price.

Would not stay here again. The room was dirty. Clearly they didn't clean because there was old food behind furniture. Tried charging us an extra $100. The price they gave us was less than what they actually charged. Staff was awful. The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke.

Ok, at best. Desk person was very congenial and helpful. The building needs major maintenance work: front door, entry cement slab is dangerous, second door doesn't fully open, bathrooms are functionable but cramped.

Clean and quiet room. Shower area was moldy (stayed in an accessible room). AC smelled musty. No smoking in rooms, but many smokers and vapors outside made the hallway smell. Back entrance was never locked. The breakfast area was almost out of food by 7am due to many contractors staying midweek. It is close to the highway and many restaurants. Many other hotel brands nearby to choose from.
