We stopped in for a drink and appetizer at the bar and it was just so darn cute. The interior is warm and rustic. With the fireplace it has a cozy, romantic vibe that would be great for a date. We only had an appetizer but it was yummy. Based on how packed it was, I would bet the rest of the menu is equally delicious. The menu is a little pricey but if you're looking for a one in a while treat, I would definitely recommend this place.

Really loved this place used to go here every anniversary with my boyfriend, while the food is still as amazing as it has always been the service has gone downhill. The last TWO times I have gone I stood at the door unacknowledged for over 10 minutes. No formal waiting area so it’s confusing wether your supposed to be attended to or go up to the bar and ask for a table. Waitresses have been rather un pleasant and the service has been sub par. I love you pranzo and I will go back , but you guys need to get the service together!

I had an incredible experience and sat next to their wood burning fireplace. The ambiance matched the food and was exquisite. Frank cudos for a wonderful evening. Eric

The food is excellent and so was the service. My only comment is that the restaurant is small and the seating is tight. For an excellent Italian meal Pranzo is a great place to go.

Best in Italian.. in the whole area!! Excellent food, service, and general experience and vibes. Chef Iacobucci, really knows what he is doing!! Dishes are crafted with incredible flavor and panache. A culinary delight! Also, we totally love the area. Would highly recommend overall! A+ !

We decided to have our company Christmas party here and we were glad we did! We had a blast and Dominic made sure to take good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed for a great evening. The food is very delicious, not your average low quality Italian food because you can actually taste the freshness of their ingredients. Would highly recommend and we will be coming back!

Tried going to Crostatas but it was an hour wait. Ended up trying Pranzo! for the first time and it was excellent!!! The bread basket before the meal alone is worth the visit. We ordered wedding soup- it was the best I've had around. We also had a margarita pizza and sausage and onion pizza. Both were delicious. Service was great, too. Only negatives- I marked down atmosphere to 4 instead of 5 because it was a bit loud. Might be tricky to hear if you're with anyone hard of hearing. Parking was a bit tricky too, but we were lucky to get the last spot behind the building. We have a small sedan, though. If you were in a big SUV, you may have to walk a bit. Great experience all around. If you haven't been, you must try!

I absolutely LOVE Pranzo!! It’s family owned and they truly care about their customers and their experience. The food is amazing!! Dom is usually our server and he’s the best. Just good vibes all around, highly recommend!!

We had a delicious dinner at Pranzo! The appetizers were delicious. Stuffed hot peppers were wonderful and the calamari was delicious (so light and not at all chewy). We all ordered different dinners and had a family style dinner. Meatballs were great, as was the pork chop special (juicy, not at all dry as many are), and everything else. Dominic's service was outstanding. We'll definitely go back there!

The best pork chop I’ve ever had! The food was great and it’s definitely going to be a new date night spot for me and my husband.

Loudest restaurant I’ve ever been to. Can hear everyone’s conversations except your own. Food was subpar and overpriced for what it was. Service like everywhere else is doing their best being short handed.

The pizza and chicken parmesan were excellent. We were in town for a graduation and we came in on a Friday night without a reservation. They were very busy but they were able to seat us. Thank you!

I posted this review a while ago on Yelp, but I think more people are reading reviews via Google now. Please read as everything still holds true. Where do I start? My Wife and I including our families have been coming to Pranzo since we moved to Lake County. We have enjoyed Birthdays, Graduations, Anniversaries, Celebrations, Date Nights, Long Nights and Special Days. In the summer we love to dine outside on beautiful patio and in the cooler months we enjoy the cozy inside by the fireplace. Every time we go it's always the best food and wonderful service. Every time! Regardless if my wife and I go on a Friday evening after a long tough work week or a Saturday celebration with the whole family. Pranzo never disappoints. This is our "go to place". Food: Excellent food and HUGE portions.Quality matches Quantity here which is extremely hard to do in today's world. Most menu items and dishes are cooked in their outside wood fire oven. Please get a wood fire pizza, even if it's just an appetizer. The pizza is so good, so fresh, so amazing. Most of their pasta is homemade and extremely delicious. They pair the pastas with an array of marinara and cream sauces. Try the cavatteli with cream sauce. This is a fan favorite with our whole family. You will leave with a smile on your face as the homemade pasta is cooked perfectly swimming in a big bowl of creamy sauce. Me? I always order the fabulous veal parmesan that comes with penne pasta. I can write a whole review just on this dish it's that good, but I am going to be short, sweet and simple: Order it!!! All dinners come with a tasty salad as well. Even the complimentary bread is wonderful and could probably be a $5-6 dollar app on other places menus. Drinks: Good drink menu, but what we love about Pranzo is that it's BYOWine for a small fee. Tip- bring a big bottle! :) Service: Service is always great! Fast friendly and always going above and beyond. I feel like we have had every server in the establishment and never had an issue. Great people. All around great place!

Me and my wife have been coming here for 9 years now and never disappoint! From the perfect hidden patio in the summer to walking in the front door welcomed by the smell of a real fire in the dining room to the food that is alway perfect. We have never been disappointed and will keep coming back. This is the best Italian restaurant you will find in the area. Only down fall is no liquor license personally I’d love a good glass of bourbon with my dinner. But the wine list is great and substitutes just fine.
