Went for a private birthday function, alternating meals. Generous serving size and nicely cooked. Overall a good venue. Update: A few minute wait before any staff noticed that we were waiting to be seated. Ordered the Thorpdale Wedges and Fried Chicken entrees for a quick bite. Generous size serves and pretty tasty. Two entrees a beer and a wine cost $52.

Sad to say after having been here before I was appalled at the Mothers Day menu today. To be told the normal menu wasn't available only what was on the Mothers Day card at individual prices and not have 1 guest that wasn't displeased with what they received was unsettling. No roast on a Sunday.. Mothers Day.. in the country. 😢 Best option that was chosen by the vast majority at all tables Lamb Shanks but that too was undercooked and tough. Sadly not 1 of the ladies I took along intends to return again. Those who were due but failed to arrive now believe it was divine intervention.😢☹👎

I was amazed that this pub/restaurant was in tiny Willow Grove. The venue is beautifully presented and would be an ideal venue for functions, or just a casual drink or meal. The staff were friendly and made our stay a pleasure. The only (minor) criticism was that they were spread a little too thin and had a few shortages of chosen beverages. The food was great, and not expensive. The venue was incredible, and on a nice sunny day, the beer garden would be a joy. Only minutes from Moe, it is a hidden treasure.

Their hospitality is just Mesmerizing.

No Good for group bookings. Table was short a seat, and not all seats given were in usable positions. Waitress taking orders was rude, meals took a long time to come out (approx 1.5hours for a kids meal, most meals at least an hour, quite a few longer, 1 hour 45 for other meals). Waitress came to table around an hour and a half after the last order to see what we were still waiting on - which was 7 meals (booking was 28 people, increased from 25 when booked a couple weeks prior, was stated booking may vary by a few but would be confirmed 24hrs before). 2 of our group asked if their meals would be much longer after 1.5hours, if so they wanted a refund. Waitress gave them refund and then told them to leave as they were rude. The only rude one was the Waitress (daughter of owner maybe?) Other young Waitress (possibly named Ebony? was lovely, worked hard and was polite). Food - some meals were lovely, Guinness pie was watery and little flavour, mash was dry. Traditional Parma was hard. Fish and chips was half the size of the 2 I saw going to the table beside us, and chips were soggy. Definitely not worth the substantial price tag. When booking was originally made, we were told that there was one other group booked in for 6.30, could we come at 6 so they could get our meals out early. Once the 2 people were told to leave, staff told me that the other group had priority, they had booked first. If at any stage we had been told the venue wouldn't be able to cope with our booking, we would have gone elsewhere and asked about rebooking at a date that would be better for them, at no stage were we told there could be an issue. For improvement, -maybe try taking names for orders in a group so they can keep track of what has gone out for whom, and send out all orders off a docket together. -Send out kids orders early (or at least give that option, hangry kids make a night harder than it needs to be) - make sure staff are personality suited to their roles. If they are stressed, and don't know how to cope with that, they are more likely to be rude, and take offence to regular questions.

It's a cold winters night, the fire is roaring in the bar, there is an acoustic band playing all your old favourites. You sit down with a Guinness and a nice meal, what could be better😀

Restaurant stank, service horrible, food had hair in it (not that bad right…. It looked like pubic hair and there was heaps), waiter told me to wait my f$&king turn when i asked why I hadn’t received my food in over 90 minutes and to top it all off the waiters wouldn’t look into my eyes because i’m of african descent.

Wasn't that impressed unfortunately as we waited a very long time for our meals, they didn't come all at the same time and it wasn't that busy. On a positive note, the crew serving are really nice and friendly!

The ribs were so tender, the meat just fell of the bone. The cheese cake was not great though. All in all, excellent.

Dropped in for a couple of drinks on our way home. Was warm by the kanara and drink went down well. Just need may need to ask them to fill the glass to the top lol

So so disappointing, over an hour wait for food, very few customers, the fish was covered In concrete batter and the fish was hard as rock, pizza was average, chicken burger average. As I said so very disappointed. Staff were unattentive. Been here twice never going back. The most embarrassing thing was we were entertaining an out of towner, so embarrassing.

No good the staff were rude and food was barely cooked the tables were set up poorly and nor enough chairs when we pre booked

I’m going to hope they were just having an off night. On a Saturday night the place was only about a third full. Our party of nine ordered on three separate orders and one of them was forgotten entirely meaning they ate well after we had finished, despite waitress keeping assuring us that they are just a bit busy. It wasn’t and the kitchen staff admitted later that it was forgotten so waitress did not check. A roast potato with all the trimmings on the specials board just came out as a roast potato with sour cream and nothing else. Sent back and it came back with a small piece of bacon in it. Just sucked it up it that point. Of nine orders on our table, six came out with something wrong. On the good side, the bar staff were great and the music was nice.

Friendly staff, really nice food, pleasant atmosphere. On a Sunday afternoon, they had two really good musicians to listen to. It is worth another visit, again.

I took my family for a catch up as I had been before and it was great but I'm afraid on the 29 Jan it was terrible all the chicken dishes were well overcooked ,kids Palmas burnt,6 chips each not satisfactory I had a steak supposed to be medium rare it was overcooked and very fatty ,butter chicken very dry all much over priced ,sorry won't be back again .

Had a great night last night. The fish and chips were great.

Great service and good value pub food. The owner / waitress who took our order was kind enough to make a milkshake for the kids when it wasn't on the menu. She also let them help which was fun. Overall, an awesome experience...

The service was really good! The entree was really yummy, but the main could have been bigger for the price. The owner is very friendly and the waiter was very attentive. The dessert was beautiful! Overall I had a good experience and I would go back.

This is the best this venue has ever been. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is great the hosts are most amazing peoples people. Great job guys wish the very best for you. Keep up the great work. Will be seeing you on a regular basis.
