Stopped by for the 1st time. Pretty standard Small town cafe. Greeted upon arrival and told to Sit anywhere. Waitress was semi friendly. Menu print small. If you need glasses bring them . Place seems to be clean and inviting. We got Loaded Biscuits n Sausage gravy. With side of bacon And Philly cheese steak with onion rings Gravy was plenty on top of 2 biscuits with hashbrowns. Very little sausage in the powdered pepper gravy . Not homemade. Biscuits were soft and fluffy . 2 scrambled eggs cooked flat and brown on one side . I prefer actual scrambled eggs not just flat eggs. But to each their own . Also menu didn’t state that it was topped with cheese. I’d rather not have cheese on my gravy Bacon was crispy . You get a lot of food for the $ Philly was a standard small hoagie bun with the chopped frozen thin steak meat had very little onions or bell peppers . Plenty of white cheese . Needed seasonings very bland Onion rings are frozen drop in fryer type. Not bad tho Sweet tea was more like sweet water . Could see through the tea 😂 We will come back and try dinner as they have some Louisiana Cajun options .

Very friendly. Food was great at reasonable prices. Restaurant and facilities are very clean. Would stop here the next time we’re on the road in this area for sure.

I ate lunch in this restaurant in summer of 2022. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. I might add that this is not a fast food restaurant. They prepare your meal after you order it. It arrives fresh and delicious!

Everytime we eat there we get TERRIBLE service. We waited 50 minutes. Our appetizer never arrived, we never got our salads. I also got my coffee served black, and never got my creamer or sugar. We told a server and left. And walked to jasons. If you want to go somewhere that values their customer's time.. DO NOT go here. Every single time it has been like this. But this was the worst it has been. We had other things to do in our day than sit around for 50 minutes. At Jason's we were served within 15 minutes. They were just as busy, or more than the cafe. And their food is more complicated as well.

After a long day of travel, the nice man at our hotel, Comfort Inn, told me about this place. My husband and I went in for dinner and the Spaghetti and meatballs were awesome, as was the turkey club!

I called an order in. Gave them plenty of time, still had to wait several minutes. First I was told we're waiting for the broccoli. Then it was we're making fresh gravy. Got home with no gravy on the mashed potatoes of one dinner. The second dinner ended up being a very skimpy serving of chicken liver, and nothing to put on the baked potato.

Let me say the owner woman is wonderful. The first day we went there my husband and I both had the Philly. Kisses to the cook. It's really good. Breakfast I had the loaded biscuits and gravy. Again, kisses to the cook. The biscuits are really good. Next was a dinner meal. I ordered the chopped patty, mashed potatoes and a loaded baked potato. My husband and uncle did the spaghetti and meatballs. Both of their meals were cold. Ice box cold. Had fettuccine noodles. No meat in the sauce with 3 previously frozen meatballs. Our waitress took them back and brought them back with boiling sauce. Apparently microwaved long enough to have the sauce boiling minutes later. In a bowl. My gravy was thick and cold. Potatoes were cold but who doesn't love cold mashed potatoes? Not a big deal. My loaded baked potato was tiny. Had a few sprinkles of cheese. Not exactly "loaded" My biggest issue was our waitress kept touching my husband. At one point, her whole forearm and hand was resting on his shoulder. I pulled his chair away from her so that she would kindly get the hint to get her hands off of my husband. He just looked at me with the look of fear in his eyes because he didn't know what to do. She still continued to touch him and brush into him. Reach over him to hand others food when she had a clear path on the other side of the table. I'm not sure why she felt at any time that it was acceptable behavior. Especially considering he's obviously married and she did have a wedding band on herself, nor was he giving her any signals that it was okay. We were visiting family and it was the first time we had even seen this woman. I did not witness her do this to any other person in the place. Only my husband. I've never been put in that position in the time I've been married to him so I didn't quite know how to respond and neither did he. I hope she sees this and counts her blessings that I did not know how to respond to that behavior, because I truly did not wish to humiliate my family in public. Food is definitely good. May have just been one off night. Keep an eye on your spouse so he doesn't get molested. Unfortunately. I'm serious.
