I picked this hotel because of its dog friendly policy, so I’m disregarding the tiny bathroom and the super low water pressure in the shower. The stay was going alright, until I found an ant infestation in the 1st room, so I requested a room change. Then in the 2nd room on the 2nd floor, it was even worse; there were hairs everywhere: on the bathroom floor, carpet, table, etc. I booked for 3 nights and only ended up staying for 2. I emailed to hotel’s General Manager about the bad ant infestation and how it’s harmful for pets. However, I never got a response back. Very poor guest service. If you have pet, consider this before you select this hotel. I definitely never be staying Delta again.

The room itself was nice. Very nice. The hotel upkeep is lacking however. It wouldn't be difficult to clean the trash from the bushes and the parking lot proper. The stairwell is old, linoleum is torn, and as the entry point to the rooms presents an old "need to be updated" negative impression. But, the WORST aspect, was having to walk through the overpowering stench of old and active cigarette smoke literally at the front entrance. That is an easy fix.

Where do I begin? The staff seemed uninterested in any customer requests. There is no complementary breakfast. The food at the "grill" on the first floor is way over priced for its low quality. The view of the dilapidated pool is stomach turning. The smell that came from the air conditioner was somewhere between mold and a old chimney flew. Room service talks to you as if you're a thief when just asking for a few towels and some coffee. The water pressure is close to a light rain fall and the heat is very inconsistent. The work out room hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long as you can peel the sweat smell off the walls and work out machines. I've had better experiences at a small family owned hotel on the side of the highway than I have at this "higher end" establishment. I will not be staying at this hotel again and I will advise anyone else to avoid it as well.

I'm writing to submit a formal complaint regarding my stay at the Delta Hotel Chicago Willowbrook. The staff were very rude including property owner & manager Ricky. The backdrop of the complant is that the housekeeping supervisor Ruby approached my wife regarding some toys and cereal pieces my kids (3 & 4 yr old) dropped on the floor in our room. I didnt like the way which Ruby talked to my wife simply because the whole matter was absurd. Ruby said that the toys and cereal (fruitloops) would cause damage to the vaccum machine and would cause the cleaning staff to take more time cleaning the room! I asked Ruby not to talk to my wife and should be talking to me instead. She didnt like that and complained to Ricky. In his turn Ricky cancelled my reservation due to concerns of "cleanliness". As a guest at this property I can say that this was the worst experience I have had at a Bonvoy Hotel. This property with staff included are way below the Bonvoy standard and should be dropped from the chain. Furthermore, it was mentioned that the property had an outdoor pool which was closed for the season! Well, if it was closed during summer I'm sure it will still remain closed during winter. The lobby had an aweful sewage smell, they were trying to cover the scent by using automatic scent dispensers which made my family and I very nauseous. The room was pleasent and maintence staff were great. We had an issue with the mini fridge they were very responsive. I'm guessing they are family too but they were very nice. Bottom line, this propery is not family/kids friendly and staff are very rude. Forget complaining to the manager, because clearly its a family run business. I have seen a lot of businesses run to the ground because of nepotism, this property is one of them. You're better off staying at a motel! Stay clear of the Delta Chicago Willowbrook.

This is the worst hotel out of any hotel that I ever been to. First, I get to my room and it smells really bad like mold. Then, I went down to tell them so they switched me rooms. The second room I got changed to had a yellow urine stain on the rim of the toilet which made me feel like the bathroom has not been cleaned. On top of that I was taking a shower and there was still left over hair in the shower which also made me feel like was the bathroom even cleaned at all???? I will never go here again or recommend this hotel AT ALL to anyone. I was told a manager going to reach out to me to adjust my stay and they never even contacted me back on the bad experience I had with this hotel. Save your money and stay far away!!!!

Had a good time here. The room could’ve been more cleaner. The carpet and furniture had what looks like permanent stains or they weren’t able to get it out. We stayed in a king with a sofa bed. Not much of a sofa. The bathroom is very small. Other than that, customer service was pleasant.

Hotel was nice stayed there because of the snow storm and didn't want to have to drive far . the room was just ok the heater was making a loud popping nose periodically throughout the night Everytime it turned on. the windows had cold air blowing out the sides even with the curtains they have in place. breakfast you have to pay for it is not included. They have just two complimentary bottled waters in the room to drink. there are no microwaves in room so you would have to go to lobby area to heat up food. there is a restaurant and bar in lobby area. Overall, it was just ok, for the price though they should include a continental breakfast or something

Rooms are tiny and was told we got an “upgrade”. Bathroom ceiling looks like it is falling in. No sheets for the pull out couch when we asked for them housekeeping was closed and couldn’t get into the room.

Very clean with nice rooms. Front desk service was outstanding. The on-site restaurant has great food. Although they do not offer room service they will pack up an order for carry out. If you're staying in the area it's a great choice for a hotel. The beds are very comfortable as well.

I stayed at this property for two weeks. for work. The staff interaction was minimal, but helpful. The rooms are cleaned well daily, and they are deceptively updated. Restaurant’a prices are better than most hotels. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay.

Came in without a reservation for three nights and the front desk was very helpful. Unfortunately the room assigned on the first floor was not up to standard. Lord knows when the last time they cleaned that room. Since COVID began I've had a habit of disinfecting everything which was why I noticed some debris on my bed. At first I thought nothing of it and just swept most of it off with my hand it wasn't until I noticed the LIVE MAGGOT that I freaked out. I called the front desk and they came in took some pictures and moved us to another room. Thankfully this one was at least up to standard but I still had a restless sleep. They allowed us a free comp breakfast and $30 off our stay at check out for the inconvenience. My rating is only because of how the front desk was that initial night otherwise if I could I would give a zero. I've definitely been traumatized after this event and will stick to other companies in the future. Friendly reminder: always check your hotel room beds

Very friendly staff. The overall feel did not align with expectations for a Marriott. Due to the number of days staying (3) our rooms wouldn’t be serviced unless requested, which is perfectly acceptable- however when additional items were requested (coffee or lotions) they were only occasionally refilled. Mirrors had water spots all over (looked like it had been cleaned and then water was splashed up when cleaning other spaces of bathroom, but never cleaned up again). Restaurant in hotel was closed on Mondays (which was a day we were there, making it difficult). When we did go to the restaurant for breakfast timeliness was not a strong area - plan on enjoying time eating and conversing with your travelers.

Front desk staff (Sai Shiva) was fabulous! He was very kind, accommodating and helpful during our stay. I had a chaotic evening and had to find a hotel last minute. After searching endlessly, we came across this place in Willowbrook and were impressed by the location and how personable the staff was. Sai Shiva made it a seamless process in checking us in with our dogs and made sure that we had a comfortable stay. Thank you so much! We highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I were in and out loading our semi truck up. We never checked out. Around 8:30 this morning we went back in to use the bathroom and they were clearing the room. Threw away $50 worth of food we ordered extra last night so we had leftovers for lunch today. When I went to front desk, they offered to buy me there $15 breakfast that I ate the morning before very nasty, go to Dennys next store you will be better off. If your going to charge $150 pee night, then be a $150 per night hotel. No big deal you lost a customer I drive for a trucking company right around the corner. So looks like red roof inn here ww come next time I need a room.

After reading some reviews we were worried, but our stay was nothing but the opposite! All the staff was very kind and personable. The staff was helpful with getting our room early! The rooms were very clean and looked very nice. Lots of parking too!

Employees unpaid wages have been reported for multiple weeks. All emails, text messages and in person attempts to retrieve payment have been ignored. Front desk agent Mariah Stanek has been verbally abusing guests and employees. Multiple guests report issues regarding this employees lack of professionalism and racial slurs which are all ignored by the manager Wiqar Khan. I have witnessed the manager Wiqar Khan racially profile multiple guests. In one occasion the manager made a second reservation without the guests permission for the sole purpose to charge the guest over $400 for attempting to bring the matter of this employees rude and unprofessional actions to surface. The guest is also an employee of Marriott her name is Tiffiney Johnson she has called every single day for month and the manager disregards all messages regarding the matter. The manager has undocumented persons living on property for months. Willowbrook law states that does not permit guests to stay at a hotel for more than 28 days. The manager has multiple duplicate charges on guests accounts that have been disregarded as well as over charged bills from Expedia which he also disregards. I believe the manager Wiqar Khan is unfit for the position and wish for an investigation to be made upon the property as the Marriott name is being tarnished with what has now been witnessed as poor management, multiple illegal activities and racial profiling. The employee Mariah Stanek should also be under investigation as she has repeatedly harassed guests and employees. Location: Delta Marriott Willowbrook

Front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Clean and modern throughout. A minor issue with the TV not having reception was rapidly resolved with a room change.

Stayed here 3 nights in November 2023. Looks recently redone inside. The bed was excellent. Convenient to many nearby restaurants. Can drive to downtown Chicago from here. (Sai at the front desk is especially good.) Strangely, all the ice machines were out (but it was available from the front desk) during our stay. We would stay here again.

They checked us into someone else's room. This security issue was scary, but we had to stay here for a wedding that was starting soon. The 2nd room they gave us had a broken bathroom door. We ended up staying the 3rd room they gave us. At check out, they said the manager would contact us about compensation for all of these issues (there were more, but security was the big one). It's been over 2 weeks and we have yet to hear back. STAY AWAY

Doors to room and bathroom not maintained and I am pretty sure the fitted sheet on this bed was too small and kept coming off. The restaurant and bar was alright though.

Checked in one room and the TV and phone didn't work. They move us to another room, awesome until the next day. When we woke up we saw ants everywhere. At check out we brought it up and the receptionists didn't seem to care.

Rooms are very clean. Building looks old from the outside, but inside has been totally redone. Employees are friendly. Breakfast/food is my reason for the lost star. The breakfast buffet, on the weekends, was not that great. The bacon tasted like smoked beef jerky. No napkins. The coffee is in a really awkward spot to 'just grab coffee'. The hot water machine doesn't work. And to get decaf, you have to ask because it is kept in the back. Next time we are in town visiting family, this will definitely be on the list of possible hotels to stay at.

This hotel and their front desk was a disaster. We were here for a company event - in which a company credit card was on file - but they charged - me an employee of said company for the rooms. Additionally I went up to the front desk 4 separate times as did the company to get it fixed . They assured me it would be - they didn’t - they still did not fix it - and charged me for two rooms I had no connection with. They also allowed a wedding party to scream and yell in to hallway outside our door until well past 1 am with random drunk people banging on my door and wouldn’t do anything about it . Lastly - I am handicap and first they gave me the farthest room possible in the hotel - then a room that still wasn’t accessible - it took 3 times before we got an accessible rooms. They were polit but ignorant of anything going on. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I give this hotel 2 stars only because you can tell it’s renovated and they have put effort into the aesthetics but that’s where the effort stopped. My room was dirty: dirt and what appeared to be pubic hair left from the previous resident in the shower, more hair left on the bathroom counter, poop/chocolate/ blood on the wall (I didn’t get close enough to find out), only two bottles of water gratis (which is what I was told was the policy regardless the length of your stay and I was there 3 nights/4 days), pool closed although it is summer, no breakfast for sale or free on Monday nor Tuesday, and no chair at the desk in the room. When checking out, the front desk took notes but no apology was given, no offer to make it right. Stone cold “victim blaming” asking “why didn’t you complain about any of this” as though it is my responsibility to make sure their property is in top top shape although I was the guest. When checking in late at night the last thing you want to do after unpacking and finding the disgusting state of the room is to re-pack and switch rooms. In my opinion this is just bad management, from the dirty room aka no quality control to the 2 water bottle policy. I would not recommend this hotel at all. There are other Marriott options in the area.

Horrible. I’m having my wedding in September and had talk to a lady who made a contract for a block of rooms and then she quit and left and now when I’m trying to confirm this block the new manager Vincent was no help and was telling me in order to block 10 rooms I need to pay upfront with credit card when I already had a contract and the lady was so nice and easy-going and everything was all set. Such an inconvenience in the man was no help. My wedding is in a month and now I have to find a new hotel.!!!!

The actual hotel is very nice. I used this hotel for a wedding block and it was a disaster. It caused so much hassle and stress for no reason. I went through 4 different sales people because they would either be fired or quit so that shows my something must be up with the management of the turnover is so high. It took 4 months for me to get a contract and get someone to answer me since when a sales person left there was no out of office message in their email and I would just be not receiving a response and then once I called I would be informed that there is now a new person and this happened like I said three different times. The last sales person told me that she would add my room complementary and I told her to add one for my maid of honor. When the current sales person provided the room list neither I or the maid of honor were on the list, but luckily she worked with us and got us rooms. I was told by a few guests that there were issues getting their room keys mixed up or they just didn’t work and had to keep going to the front desk for corrections. The hotel looks updated and the rooms were nice but something needs to be corrected, I would not recommend using for a hotel block - only for a room for a couple nights.

DANGEROUS HOTEL! I implore anyone looking to stay here to please go elsewhere, as this hotel is a risk to physical and mental safety. My family was verbally abused by the manager, Wiqar Khan (Ricky), who was also physically aggressive towards my mother and sister. FATAL CHILD ACCOMMODATIONS! At the time of making this reservation, I confirmed that the hotel has pack and plays available, as I have an 11 month old child. Over the phone, the employee I spoke with assured me there would be a pack and play waiting in the room for us. Upon arriving at the hotel, the front desk employee stated the hotel does not have any sort of crib-type accommodation. Stunned by this (as all hotels are required to have safe sleeping accommodations for every guest - including babies), I asked her what solution she could offer me. She told me to - this is not a joke - put my 11 month old infant on the couch in our room with a comforter around it in case he falls off. Stunned, my husband stated that this is how children DIE, by falling off surfaces, being strangled by something such as a comforter, or suffocating! It took multiple conversations with the staff for someone to finally bring us a pack and play (because yes, they did have them available for families traveling with young children). STAFF CANCELED OUR RESERVATION! On our second day, a staff member called my room to confirm our reservation. This confused me, as I had already checked in and spent two days at this hotel and did not understand why a confirmation would be needed in the middle of our stay. The staff member provided no explanation and was very rude on the phone and hung up curtly. The next day, my mother received an email regarding check out procedure. With three more nights booked at this hotel, we assumed this was some sort of communication/tech error, but upon speaking with the manager, Ricky (Wiqar Khan), who was at the front desk, we were told my mother had been checked out! Again there was absolutely no explanation for this, not even an admission of the hotel having made a mistake, nor an attempt to remedy the situation. WIQAR KHAN (RICKY) IS ABUSIVE! Ricky, the general manager, told my senior mother she would simply have to pack her bags and leave - in those exact words. My mother showed him her reservation confirmation which was for an additional three nights and Ricky insisted that my mother leave! Ricky simply stated that the hotel is booked and my mom would have to go elsewhere, which was infuriating considering my mother's reservation had been made months in advance and she had proof of the fact that her reservation was for several more nights. Attempting to help my mother, my sister tried to reason with him. Needing to be away from this horrible environment, my sister informed Ricky we would all (6 people in 3 rooms) be checking out. Ricky's response was that we would have until noon to do so or else be charged for an additional night. Given that it was 11:30am, my sister stated we would need more time considering we have a baby, to which WIQAR KHAN, RICKY, YELLED AT MY SISTER WHILE LEANING OVER THE DESK, POINTING HIS FINGER IN HER FACE SAYING "I'M THE BOSS; I MAKE THE RULES; NOT YOU!" My husband jumped in front of my sister to protect her as he feared she was about to be physically attacked by this man. FRAUDULENT CHARGES TO CREDIT CARD! Needless to say, we all packed up our things as fast as we could to be away from this abusive monster of a person. This is not the case of bad customer service, but a man being physically and verbally aggressive towards women. My sister and her husband had Ricky print out copies of our shortened reservation dates, including the fact that we would not be charged for the remaining nights, given we checked out before noon. Three weeks later, we all found we had been charged for additional nights at this hotel, even though Ricky himself literally printed out documentation that we would not be charged. This does not seem like an innocent error, but an intentional attempt to steal funds from guests.

I have previously stayed in this hotel and thought it was decent at the time. At that time I would have given it 3 stars for cleanliness/safety. However, during my recent stay I would consider it to be the worst hotel experience I have ever had. There were two security concerns, there were bugs in the room, leftover trash in the room from previous guests, furniture is dusty, and the worst part was the customer service. There was one employee who was helpful with the security concern but aside from that they were rude, uninterested, and not helpful.

DO NOT STAY HERE! 2 weeks after I left the hotel, they charged my card because "they upped their rate" and I now owed them $55 MORE dollars 2 weeks after I checked out of the hotel. I have my original copy of my receipt which does NOT match the amount they are now telling me I was charged. I have been hung up on MULTIPLE times calling the hotel to figure out this problem. Do not stay here If you want random amounts of money disappearing from your account.

-The hotel has 2 types king bedrooms the only difference is the shower style but still same size one cost $119 and one $99 - No free breakfast only drinks but be careful you might get charge too if you have no clue.

Delta Dated hotels. tiny washrooms. elevators suck. Staff can be either very helpful or not give a damn. At checkout I stood at the desk waiting while the person browsed facebook. Didnt even acknowledge me... great work Delta...fail. Going elsewhere next time obviously.

Wonderful atmosphere, and will stay here again. Normally post pictures, but got proposed to right before check in and it slipped my mind. Staff have been so kind and service has been wonderful. They readily had anything we asked for available.

Super convenient location to downtown Chicago and its surrounding suburbs! The beds were SO comfortable…seriously loved the pillows and probably the best hotel bed I’ve ever experienced. Nice big screen TV and the room was VERY clean. The overall hotel atmosphere was very modern and well kept. Free parking included too which is a huge plus. If you need new towels or maid service just make sure to let them know and they will happily take care of you. I think a lot of hotels do housekeeping service by request now since the pandemic which we had no problem with at all. I give this hotel my highest recommendation and we are so happy to have stayed here. Lots to do in the area also as far as restaurants/shopping!

We were at this hotel for a wedding event. The hall was massive and well decorated for the event. There was plenty of parking outside the hotel which was free. He had a lovely time and a great program at this location.

Don’t understand why I had to pay $60 more than my cousin when we got 1 room, 2 queen beds each. Plus we were both charged for two days, when we just wanted to stay for about 6hrs. It was just my girlfriend and I, and my cousin had his wife and 3 kids. So it doesn’t make sense why I paid more. On top of that, it took like 20 mins for us to get our room since the person at the counter wasn’t sure what he was doing.

Service was great which is typical of a Marriott product. The location is good, just off I 55 on rte 53. Plenty of restaurants on the area. The building used to be a Holiday Inn but nicely updated to Marriott standards. My only compliant is that the bathrooms are small. All in all a good value.
