Absolutely adored this place and the owners were super friendly! My friends and I came here and had a lot of fun! They had tons of games to play and good amount of seating! They had a lot of snacks as well, we got popcorn, chips, grilled cheese and different teas! The owners checked up on us multiple times! 10/5 would recommend!

Very bright and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Game selection was good. +1 Inspiration Die for supporting local breweries and the d20 dispenser!

The place is good with lots of varieties of boardgames. I overheard them saying they have a thousand games. It's a nice place to chill and play. However, it is in expensive side of you go with a big group as they charge gratuity. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Love this place!! $7 for 3 hours is very reasonable. The employees were fabulous and very helpful. The price for beer is very reasonable considering you only pay $7 for 3 hrs. They have every game you can think of!!!

The Bard and Bear is an amazing establishment staffed with amazing and wonderful staff. Their commitment to fostering a positive community shows. I went over there for commander night and absolutely had such a wonderful time. This place is great for families of all ages with hundreds of board games to play, and great food to go with it. 5 Stars is not enough to show how great this place is.

I have gone here with friends a couple of times. Every time we have gone the staff have been helpful with picking out games try try out. The snacks and drinks are always great, I especially enjoy the dip they serve with the chips, but also quite like the rice crispy squares and hot chocolate. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try new games out with friends.

Went a few nights ago for some dungeons and dragons with friends. Magnificent and friendly service right out the gate, felt so welcome. We ordered two sandwiches to eat, some popcorn, and a bowl of chips. Our sandwiches were genuinely delicious, though the chips were a little oily for my taste. The they came with however was a very satisfying onion flavour. We washed all this down with some outstanding apple cider and finished the night with a cookie which also hit the spot. If you’re looking for a solid meal and some games, with excellent service on the side, can’t go wrong with Bard and Bear.

Lots of game options. Favourite game to play is Wingspan. Lots of expansions to choose from. Usually end up ordering some chips and dip for the table to share :)

Today was our first time popping in after passing by a few times, and we are so happy we spend our Saturday afternoon here at Bard and Bear. The game selection is awesome, and we really enjoyed the categorization as well. Megan was accommodating to us being walk ins and was super helpful with game selection and instructions. Really happy to have them in the neighborhood!!
