Every aspect of our stay was totally positive - Judith was a wonderful hostess - it was a joy to meet her. We were a group of 4 on a bicycle trip in the Niagara Falls surroundings and she was so sweet , informative and quite accomodating with space to store our bikes and information on the best places to visit and to eat ! Breakfast was the best ! The rooms - in fact the entire house was beautiful, warm and cozy - just felt good being there ! We will definitely be going back in the future - and will definitely be recommending this beautiful place to anyone visiting the area ! Thanks again Judith for your warm welcome during our stay ! Helene, Robert, Christian and Danielle !

We came here recently for two nights as part of a cycling tour of Niagara through Velo-Quebec. This place was definitely the best place we stayed at. Having never been to a B&B before, we really were not sure what to expect. Judith, our hostess & owner, was amazing. She enlightened us about the local history & places to shop & visit. She even made dinner reservations for us both nights we were there. The only thing that beat all of this were her breakfasts. They were made by Judith herself from scratch & were amazing. The time & effort she put into this was incredible. In addition to all of us this, the rooms & bathrooms were comfortable & clean & we were able to park our bikes in her garage. We are certainly planning a return visit hopefully in the near future. Thank you for all you hard work from Lisa & Nick.

I was looking for a getaway for a few days and came across Port Colborne and this b&b. The pics and reviews on TripAdviser and here really captured my attention and after have stayed at the place I have to say that all the positive reviews are true. It is one absolutely gorgeous place. We stayed at Tropical room and it is so lovely and cozy. The house itself is so well decorated and just beautifully furnished that my impression was speechless. Plus a free breakfast which is a restaurant type three course meal. OMG I was so impressed especially because being a vegan not everyone would accommodate, but the hostess emailed us in advance to check on that information and cooked us beautiful tasty vegan breakfasts. I'm already thinking of coming back just for that :) Also Judith is very lovely lady who is very knowledgable about the area and things to do. Helpful in every way. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable bed, AC (very quiet one). There is a little terrace at the back, which was nice to relax in the evening. Free parking is also available at the back. I highly recommend this place, definitely worth every penny.

We recently stayed here while we were in town for a wedding. This was the best B&B we have stayed in. Well kept, clean, comfy and very at home feeling. Judith is very friendly and makes you feel at home from the moment she greets you at the door. Oh and the breakfast she makes is amazing! We will definitely be making another stay in the future.

This is a hidden treasure in Port Colborne. An amazing B&B and owner, Judith. Judith is a fabulous cook and shares all kinds of information about the area around the table during her amazing breakfast. For people cycling around the area there is bike storage in the garage and Judith is happy to assist with planning routes. I look forward to returning and getting spoiled in this wonderful B&B.

My husband and I recently went on a cycling adventure around the Greater Niagara Circle Route. Talwood Manor was our last stop before we headed back home. As soon as we walked in, we were struck by the classy decorations and atmosphere...it really felt like stepping back in time to when the house was built! We stayed in the Highlander Room, which was very cozy and elegant. The bathroom has been recently redone, and wow, it was just fabulous. Looking around our room, it was easy to see how much thought and attention went into every detail. Besides being a friendly and lovely person, Judith is also a former nurse, so if you had any concerns about COVID you can leave them at the door. She followed all current COVID precautions to the letter, so we felt completely safe and secure staying here. Breakfast was filling and really delicious, and featured local ingredients. It's obvious to anybody that Judith really enjoys running her B and B, so when you come to visit you can't help but enjoy yourself in turn! Thank you for taking care of us, Judith! Cheers, Heather

My friend and I were on a cycling tour of the Niagara Peninsula. We stayed 2 nights in Port Colborne. We absolutely loved our experience with Judith (owner and host) at the Talwood Manor. The B&B is in her lovingly restored home which is tastefully and beautifully decorated. It is immaculately clean and well kept. Judith is a wonderful chef and her breakfasts carefully cater to the dietary needs of her guests. The baked pears with oats were amazing! Judith is a wonderful ambassador for Port Colborne. She provided insightful information regarding the museum and other interesting sights in town. Judith had up to date cycling maps which where invaluable to us for the next leg of our cycling trip and our next stop in the Twenty Valley. Thanks so much for the care and attention you provided us as your guests. We couldn't have asked for a better stay! Best wishes for the rest of the summer season, Judith. (from Susan and Sharon)

My partner and I stayed in the Tudor Room, which was wonderfully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. As a great lover of baths, I also enjoyed the soaker tub in the Tudor Room's bathroom. Judith was very welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary requirements. The 3 course breakfast was delicious and she was able to accommodate for my gluten and dairy free needs. I haven't had a crepe in over 15 years! The B&B is across the street from the Roselawn Center and my partner and I went to the Lighthouse series play, which was excellent. Highly recommend for any visitors.

Thank you, Judith, for another wonderful stay at your bed and breakfast. We appreciate the extra effort you take in providing a delicious breakfast and in making recommendations for things to do in the area. All three rooms that we reserved for our family wedding were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We’ll be back! Laura and Edward
