Good food... bad experiemce/service. Phone ordered take out today. Ordered a few main dishes (spicy chicken, pork and non spicy beef), seafood tofu soup and cheese rice cake. All main dishes served with rice tasted great and not too spicy. The seafood tofu soup was ok tasting, had enough seafood and the cheese rice cake was not as good as I had hoped it to be. So for my bad experience was during pick up, we asked over the phone for extra side dishes to be included. Normally if you eat in you can ask for more at no extra charge. My total order came out to be $100 and 5% off if paying with cash.. I gave them a $10 tip and I didn't have to because it was take out. I asked about the extra side dishes and if they were inside the bag. They said no and I asked if I could have extra? They didn't really want to give me any additional! The side dishes are really just pennies for them to make and I gave them them a $10 tip! You really need to improve on your service to customers if you want me or other customers to come back.

Really good, authentic Korean restaurant with a large selection of dishes and drinks. Not a large restaurant, but it was not busy when I went on a weekday evening. The owner is friendly - probably a family owned and operated business. It felt a little cold in the restaurant when I went in the fall, I kept my jacket on. They cannot accept credit card payment.

This was my second time dining at Onnuri in the Scarborough location. The staff was super friendly and accommodating for my toddlers. The food tasted great and was made fresh to order. I would recommend everyone to give them a try.

I love this place for its taste and affordable price that's why I keep coming back. But this time was different because of the waitress's attitude, and maybe I'll never come back because of her. The women in purple hoodie in the photo was so rude when we ordered and even asked for more pandan and napkin. She answered us so much impolite, even she did not look at me and turned her back without saying anything. Even the food was good or the price was reasonable that cannot compensate for the customer service like this.

Got delivery of chicken and soup. The box broke and the sauce went everywhere inside the bag. The chicken is just 10 pieces of drumsticks and thighs for $22 which is overpriced as you can get something similar at a wing place for less money. The spicy beef soup was too oily and not spicy at all. The cabbage kimchi was bland.

Stumbled upon this location craving some Korean fried chicken. The small parking lot definitely does not have enough spaces to accommodate all the restaurants in the plaza but fortunately got a spot quickly. Ordered the original flavour and the supreme chicken along with an order of gganpoong gi. Side dishes were decent but nothing noteworthy. Note that the original flavour does not come with green onion or dipping sauce like the picture shows, which was a little disappointing. The original flavour was decent but tasted a little over cooked and dry for some pieces. The supreme flavour was much better taste wise , but could definitely benefit from a little less sauce, as it can get quite heavy the further in you get. The garlic flavour really comes through. Service was pretty disappointing as the waitresses spent most of the time hiding in the back area talking and eating. When we did get their attention to ask for napkins, they came back with 1 napkin for 3 people. Overall not a bad option if you’re in the area but would likely not return.

Great Korean fried chicken! Crispy, juicy, and tender on the inside. The chicken pieces are quite large which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Service is quite slow as the restaurant is large and has a lot of patrons but not a lot of wait staff. Still worth the wait.

Came here for some pork bone soup "Gamja tang" and some Korean fried chicken. The soup was served with lots of meaty pork bones however the soup was not filled to the top. We asked the server to give us more soup and she obliged. There's purple rice served with soup. Not all places offer this authentic Korean experience. The pickled white sauce chicken was so juicy and crispy. The chicken used here are drumsticks and thighs chopped in smaller pieces. I believe we got 10 plus pieces for $23.99. The price is reasonable considering the portion size exceeds some other places. The jalapenos had a sweet and sour bite and compliments the special mayonnaise topped on the chicken. We also ordered the fried seaweed rolls which consists of rice vermicelli wrapped and seaweed with light tempura batter. Call it the Korean version of cheese sticks. Nice!!! The ban chan served here is not amazing but sufficient. They give you kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled turnips, and seaweed salad They also have a nice outdoor patio which is covered to protect you from the elements. If you're looking for a Korean restaurant with all your traditional favorites then check this place out!

I ordered a beef soup with rice noodles-- it was very light with small pieces of meat. Definitely not filling for one person. The fried chicken was good but not spectacular. The waitress barely understood English and had a hard time understanding us, to the point where she seemed annoyed at us... My first and last experience here.

Great place for fried chicken, but their other Korean food is really good too. If you decide to dine in, the decor inside is cute and outside is really pretty. Their service is super friendly and energetic and I also noticed their kitchen is very clean (it's important). It's a great place a late dinner hang out spot.

We were craving for some Korean food so we decided to try out this place. I’m giving it 4 stars only because we’re so used to the spicy Gamjatang but when we went, seems like their Gamjatang was watered down, not spicy at all. Other than that, the side dishes were good. Nice to see a clean restaurant as well. The ladies are superrrr nicee and very very sweet 😊 Oh, and we didn’t have to wait for the food for soo long so that’s a bonus! Might comeback to try their korean fried chicken next time! πŸ‘πŸΌ

Service was quick and staff was nice. The chicken is really good could feed 2-3 people. You get around 10 pieces of chicken. The tteokbokki was okay I wish there was more rice cakes and fish cakes than noodles.

The food was very flavourful and the portions were huge. The tteokbokki is considered a side dish but it was the size of a full dish lol. Prices are reasonable (about $15 for most things) plus they give you four banchan. I really liked the tteokmandukuk (broth with sliced rice cakes and dumplings). The broth was salty and comforting and the rice cakes were perfectly cooked. If I wasn't so full I think I could've drank all the soup lol. It was empty when my friend and I were there, even on a Sunday, maybe bc it was LNY, but the servers were still attentive and polite. When my friend was telling me an engrossing story, and I dramatically threw my chopsticks down, a waitress came by to see if everything was ok πŸ˜‚

Great place for Korean fried chicken and beers. They have a separate menu just for fried chicken. Spicy sauce fried chicken & Goma was really good.

The owner was super friendly! Every time she came to the table, she praised my family for our good choices and encouraged us to eat more, just like a mother/grandmother would. It was busy when we went, but they quickly cleaned a table for us. Food was delicious, particularly the Korean fried chicken. Comes with free side dishes.

My husband buys food here and we like their chicken. Spicy chicken is the best! I love the crunchy skin inside. The place is not that big inside but they have patio. It’s cute and clean though! I just found my kimchi bokkumbob expensive (rice with kimchi and fried egg on top), $14 for just that no meat at all.

Must try their Korean fried chicken. Beautiful flavour and texture and tons of unique choices. You will taste the difference And must try my go-to favourite soft tofu stew with seafood. We also order the home made beef broth noodle which the kids cannot get enough of. Will return for sure

Ordered take out recently where many of the items ordered came out freshly made. The Sauce Chicken and GoMa Chicken were a decent level of spicy, and as the sauce came on the side, can add as much sauce as required to up the spice level. Their Kimchi fried rice (Kimchi Bokkumbob) was decent along with their Soon Tofu Soup. Decent option in the area for Korean food.

Went on a Tuesday night and it was quiet, but nice. The place is cute and there was a cooking show playing on a TV which got me excited to eat. We ordered the pork bone soup with udon ($15) and the YookGaeJang ($16). Both orders were a great portion size with lots of meat and flavour with the right amount of spice. The pork bone soup in particular had three large bones covered with meat. I was a little upset I got too full and couldn't finish everything. Side dishes were also provided (no kimchi, for some reason) but they were all tasty too. The lemon water brought to the table was also really good. Overall, it was well worth the price and I'll likely come back to try something else.
