My son just finished the Around the World summer camp at Richmond Hill location. He had such wonderful experience and came home with all the exciting stories to tell daily. He even has so much confidence in his cooking skill now. Chef Matthew did an amazing job keeping the kids interested in cooking and also ensuring my son that he was doing a great job. The pop up restaurant on the last day was so well done and all the parents were very impressed. My son is already asking to go back again! We highly recommend them. Thanks Rooks to Cooks for an amazing time for my child!

I’ve registered my daughter in a one week summer camp. (Richmond Hill location) She learned a lot on cooking technique and she always comes home feeling proud what she made. The staffs are amazing , organized and truly passionate in teaching kids to cook healthy meals. Some of the ingredients they used are good quality and most importantly healthy. I will highly recommend Rooks to Cooks. Your child will make new friends , develop team working skills and most importantly they will have fun learning.

I can’t say enough good things about this camp! My six year old just finished the Around the World and Perfecting Pasteries sessions at the Markham location. The chefs and volunteers were amazing. The depth of skill showcased and the amount of confidence exhibited by our little one once the camp was over was truly astonishing. A must try for any parent looking to inspire or nurture their little one’s love of cooking.

What a fantastic week for our daughter, topped off by an amazing Midnight in Paris themed dinner this evening, at the North York Bayview location. Chef James and his team (Chef Boston, Chef Meredith, Sarah, Chloe, Stella, and a couple of other names I've missed) inspired the kids to make amazing dishes daily and an amazing sit down dinner at the end. We'll definitely be back!

Our children had a fantastic experience at the North York/Bayview location of the camp. They enjoyed it every single day and were so proud and excited about the new skills and knowledge they gained. They have gained a stronger appreciation for cooking and are eager to cook at home. The culminating activity of running a pop up restaurant for parents was excellent. Overall, a great experience and would highly recommend it.

Absolutely a must for kids. One of the essential skills kids need in life and Rooks to Cooks offers an awesome platform for them to explore creating in the kitchen. It gives them a sense of accomplishment that and builds confidence as well. The team is fantastic and very helpful. Instructions and shopping lists are provided in advance of classes. Recipes are fantastic as well. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options to every recipe. I’m hooked on Rooks to Cooks!!!!

There are not enough words to describe how AMAZING this camp is. My 11-year-old son has recently shown interest in cooking and this was the perfect way for him to feel more excited and more confident in the kitchen. It didn't feel like a "kids" camp. He went to the location at Heath and Yonge. The instructors were amazing and really challenged and empowered the kids. The pop up at the end of the week was so special. It was so great to see my son work so hard and take is so seriously. Cheers to Chef Emily and her team! BEST WEEK EVER.

Fantastic camp, the best one we’ve ever sent our kiddos to. They learned lots of kitchen skills and tried world cuisines. Our son also brought a new dish for us to try every day - food was DELICIOUS! The end of week dinner blew our minds. Some kids were chefs, some were serving and there was a bar as well! Can’t wait to sign our boys again next year 😆

This was my daughter's absolutely favourite camp. She (7yo) loved the experience of being independent in the kitchen and learning new recipes and skills. Chef Brandon and Chef Maddy are amazing with kids. While it's a pricier camp, there is a high ratio of staff to kids. Lunch in included. The facility is clean and air conditioned. We will try another session again. Danforth location

My kids had the most adventurous and fun summer camp experience at Rooks to Cooks in Markham Unionville location. The teachers and staff were super nice. Each day at the pick up, the kids couldn't wait to tell what they've made and the food they want me to taste. The week end dinner was such a wonderful treat It's definitely 'out of this world' experience, seeing all the kids taking their role as the receptionist, waiter/waitress, bartender towards serving the dishes. I would definitely recommend the camp to anyone and every parents. Thanks to all the chef team and little chefs and we will see you next year!

Had a great experience with Rooks to Cooks (North York/Bayview). My daughter learned kitchen safety and some real life skills, in a fun week-long summer camp. She even learned to clean up in the kitchen! The team did a great job turning the basement hall of St. Elizabeth of Hungary R.C. Church into a full teaching kitchen and not to mention a great pop-up restaurant on the final day. A big thanks to the entire team of chefs, sous chefs, kitchen assistant and chef volunteers for some very long days with early mornings and late afternoons. The experience would not have been so great without them! Special shout-out to chef James, chef Faustine and chef Meredith for keeping it real, fun and engaging. They are true leaders with a very bright culinary future in front of them! My daughter simply cannot wait to return!

My daughter just finished her camp with Rooks to Cooks in Richmond Hill and she said it was the best camp she has ever attended! Chef Matt and his team are amazing. You can tell they all have a passion for teaching and food! My daughter looks forward to going camping every day, and we look forward to the treats she brings home every day. ^_^ I would highly recommend Rooks to Cooks to my friends. Thanks to all the chefs for a fun and wonderful week!

My son has been attending the Rooks to Cooks summer camps for three years now and loves it! He just completed the Baking for Beginners at the North Etobicoke location on Rathburn Rd and will be returning next week for the Intermediate Baking camp too! Not only did he learn important life skills, but he's also become an excellent baker. The pop up restaurant the children created on last day for their families was excellent. Great camp, highly recommend.

My son went to the North York-Bayview (Bayview and Sheppard) location. We love how the camp was run and the teachers/chefs were amazing. Chef John, Faustin, Merideth and the rest of the chefs were very helpful and accommodating. My son loved it and is already asking if he can go back next year. The location is very accessible and clean. Great job to everyone involved. Looking forward to next year.

AMAZING camp and camp staff at the North York Bayview location 🩷 My 7yo daughter had a ton of fun learning the important lifeskill of cooking! The Friday Pop-Up Restaurant was sooo cute as the campers were responsible to cook and serve the food and drinks to the guests. They even named the restaurant, made all the decorations and had a bar 😍 Took some pics of what was served, they were all delicious - my 10yo and I were very impressed 👍 Great job Chef James + Team!!

Highly recommended. Sent my almost 6YO to the unionville campus for their sizzling summer week and was very impressed. The chefs were great and seem to love their job which was great. My picky tried everything which made me very impressed. First day in he came home with Turkey lettuce wrap and loved it so much he made it for dinner that night for his 2 and 4YO siblings. His siblings approved as well. Highly recommend this class. It is on a pricier side of summer camp but I think it was worth it

My daughter absolutely loved her time at the Markham and Whitby Rooks to Cooks camps. We have recommended the camp to everyone we know. The chefs and sous chefs at both locations were attentive, caring, and creative. They helped boost my daughter's confidence, and instilled an immense sense of pride. Every dish she brought home was delicious. She was full of stories of the things she accomplished, and the friends she made, at the end of every day.

I signed my child up for a week of sizzling summer with chef Cody at the Thornhill location and he had a great time. He made his own lunch everyday and ate everything too! The treats he brought home everyday were delicious and the pride he had while explaining his dishes was priceless. At the end of the week there was a popup cafe which was such a great way to showcase their new skills. Definitely the favourite camp of the summer!

My 9 year-old daughter just completed her first camp with Rooks to Cooks and she had the best time! She is already asking to go back next year. Chef Brandon and Chef Maddie, at the Danforth location were just wonderful with the kids. Her favourite thing about camp was they got to make everything from scratch! Her confidence with cooking has increased already and she is keen to show us her skills at home! The Pop-up Restaurant at the end of the week was a great way for the campers to showcase their efforts with such pride and professionalism! Looking forward to signing up again next year!

Both our girls had an amazing experience at Rooks to Cooks Etobicoke location! Chef Dharma and Chef Clay and the entire team were incredible. On Friday they had a pop restaurant and served a 3 course meal. We were all blown away. The kids did great and it was a nice treat not having to cook dinner. 😊 Our kids cannot wait to come back!

This program is so professionally ran. Our kids enjoy it more than any other camp. They have learned essential cooking skills that they have carried home. They have experimented with different cuisines that they wouldn’t otherwise eat but for this camp. Highly recommend. The chefs are so kind, helpful, supportive and professional.

Our daughter went to the camp at Midtown location at Christ Church Deer Park & LOVED it! Chef Emily was not only a talented top notch chef to teach the kids cooking skills - she was also incredible with the kids. Her remarks for each kid at graduation were caring, thoughtful and encouraging. She really took the time to get to know every kid. All the staff and volunteers were incredible. We were blown away by what our daughter learned and could do at the Pop up restaurant. A very special camp. Would definitely return & recommend to others.

Our son just finished his first Rooks to Cooks summer camp week at the Etobicoke location (Bloor). He loved Baking for Beginners. Everyday he'd come home excited to show us the food he had made. He loved the Chefs uniform and enjoyed the week with the chefs and kids. Definitely a great idea for kids of all ages. They won't be eating plain cheese pizzas after a week of Rooks to Cooks!

Thank you Rooks to Cooks! This is my son's second year at the Markham/Unionville location. Chef Nicole and team were wonderful and provided the kids with yummy recipes and great cooking skills. We enjoyed all of the food he brought home. Would highly recommend this camp!

My kids attended the Baking for Beginners session this past week at the Unionville location and they both LOVED the camp! As a parent of picky eaters, I cannot describe the level of happiness I feel for my children to excitedly tell me the types of food they made, and actually ate at camp! This week, they made Patties, Beef Bao, Mac & Cheese, Sausage Rolls, and Veggie Lasagna for their main course. Each day, they also got a great intake of veggies (raw veggies or a freshly tossed salad), not to mention the tasty desserts they made all week long! They even got to bring home samples of everything they made each day!!!! I’m so pleased I signed up my boys for this camp! This is only the first week of camp, it’s going to be hard to beat Rooks to Cooks! I also wanted to commend the wonderful teachers/chefs who were enthusiastic and made this a memorable and enjoyable week for the kids! This camp ended off with a Graduation ceremony, filled with delicious desserts for the families! I especially appreciated how each child was introduced at the graduation, in a completely unique and personable way, describing their accomplishments and personalities! What an amazing camp!!!! I highly recommend this camp for any child who wants to learn more about cooking using fresh ingredients, develop friendships, or just loves to eat and/or expand their palate! Congratulations to the staff at Rooks to Cooks for a wonderful week!

My two kids did a week of Rooks to Cooks summer camp together at the Richmond Hill location and loved it. They learned so much, practiced working together as partners, and our fridge is very full of delicious food they brought home. Chef Mat and his team were really great, encouraging character development as well as practical kitchen skills. We can't wait to do it again!

This was our second year sending our kids to Rooks to Cooks at the Danforth location. Both kids loved their experience in the baking camp this year. As parents it was amazing seeing them take pride in the food they brought home every day, and trying new foods and flavors without their usual hesitations. Thank you chef Branden and team for educating them and inspiring them!

Our 6 years old attended Baking for Beginners at Midtown. We originally hesitated quite a bit given the price. But I would say that the program is well organized & run and is worth every penny. Chef Emily, staff, counselors, and volunteers were amazing. Our son came out of the program happy and confident. He’s proud of what he made daily. He went from refusing to eat certain things to at least give it a try. We will definitely come back next year!

My son just finished the around the world camp at the Bayview location. The camp exceeded our expectations from all aspects. My son not just learned how to cook according to the recipes but also stays very organized, focused , managed his tasks well the entire time. He is so proud of his work. He enjoyed the camp so much. He learned not just the cooking skills, much more than that is the team work, dedication, being detail-oriented, respect and not taking anything for granted. Kudos to all the camp staff, Chef James is amazing. Will go back again next year.

We just finished the online winter session of the perfecting pastries class, and my daughter absolutely loved it. The classes were well organized, the recipes were delicious, and the prep was easy to follow. Chef Dharma is so kind and helpful; she makes complicated tasks easy to understand and can easily fix mistakes. You can tell she is a seasoned pastry chef. Her classes were a lot of fun, perfect for kids who may not be into the regular after-school offerings. Our weekly class was definitely a highlight of the week, and our neighbors loved all the treats we had to share!

My daughter just finished her first week with Rooks to Cooks in Richmond Hill and she had THE best camp experience! Chef Matt and his team of(Chef Jason, Chef Hailey, Chef Leah, and Chef Emily) were incredible. You can tell that they all have a passion to teach and love for food! They always made sure that my daughter would not feel left out, especially when she did not know anyone going into the week. The skills that the children come home with at the end of the week is something they will remember in their day to day lives. The pop up restaurant was a huge success, from decor, to food menu, and training that the children get, truly simulate a real restaurant with high level service. I will 100% be sending my child again next year and hope to have the same team in Richmond Hill again! My daughter already is asking to return because the team was so amazing! Thank you for a great first experience!

My daughter attended the Baking for Beginners summer camp and had an amazing time!! She was so excited to tell us about all the fun she had cooking and brought home the most delicious treats for us to try. Our favourites were the quiche, brown butter chocolate chip cookies and sorbet! But really everything was so delicious. She felt so accomplished everyday! Thank you to all the chefs for a fun and delicious week!

The Markham Unionville Rooks to Cooks is excellent. Very good teachers. My kids learned cooking and also serving. I like to eat the take home treats they’ve made each day. The week end dinner was very good, too, and it’s so fun to see how far the kids have come in just one week. My kids say they like it more than their other camps.

Last week’s R2C - Around The World at Markham-Unionville location was amazing! My daughter had such a fun time that she wanted to do another week (Creative Cooks) with my son. The pop-up restaurant on Friday served up a delicious meal, especially the dessert, coconut panna cotta. The service was better than most restaurants we dine at. This is why my kids come back year after year. Definitely a 5 stars summer camp!
