Angelo should be famous. Perfect gentleman, crisp and clear with what you're going to get with an encyclopedic knowledge of jeweled art. No pomp and circumstance and he won't oversell you. He's direct, like many northern Italians - but don't mistake this for being aloof - he's serious about making sure your happy. 15 years ago got my wife's engagement ring. Upgraded with two flanking stones on our 15th before we hit Cali (sans kids) and she was smiling the whole way. If you want professionalism at a good price - go see them - you won't be disappointed. What a great experience. We drove from 4 hours away and Angelo and stuff were amazing and so helpful. I had lost the stone in my engagement ring and had gotten two other quotes in my hometown. Angelo's prices were unbeatable and I was able to upgrade the stone and create a unique ring that I absolutely love! Angelo also took the time to show me options and explain everything to me. Amazing service, very honest & efficient! Went here on a referral because I purchased what I was told was an 18K gold necklace & wanted a written appraisal by somewhere other than where I bought it to make sure it was authentic, as well as for insurance purposes. Before I went to Gente, I was told by a another jeweler I have dealt with for 23 years that he couldn't see the "stamp" on the gold through his jeweler's glass that shows it is 18K. Called Gente & Mary said to bring in the necklace Gente had a steady stream of repeat customers while I was there who were all purchasing items. Mary used her jeweler's glass to see the stamp that says it is 18K then let me use the glass so I could see the 18K stamp myself, which was quite apparent. Angelo then showed me how he tests different carat gold (14K v. 18K). He tested my necklace & determined it was 18K & gave me a written appraisal. While waiting for my necklace to be appraised, I browsed their selection. They have very nice pieces & I'll definitely return to buy something from there.

I came here because of the good reviews. I let them repair my 1 earring and they asked me to leave the pair of the earrings so that they can clean them. I left the pair of my earrings and after 2 weeks when I picked it up, the earrings were not looking the same when I left and I don’t know how they did it. Be careful and do not leave your jewelry for repair. What I learned from this experience is never go to the repair shop that can’t finish while you wait. Just go to a shop where they can do it right away. Don’t trust the reviews of this shop
