Italian paradise in Richmond Hill! What a wonderful find. This spacious and bright store has every Italian specialty ingredient that you can think of, and... you can ALSO find some Spanish and Mexican selected products. The costumer service is no par, I was shopping and was approached by, I believe to be the manager or owner, who offered me a complimentary cappuccino so I could continue to enjoy my time there. What a pleasant shopping experience! Will definitely be back!

Love shopping for cheese here and grabbing some freshly-baked pizza slices on the way out. They have a variety of topping combinations and this time I got feta and veggies, YUM! Bakery and deli corner workers are always cheerful and friendly.

Ordered a charcuterie board and a mega pizza from Grande Cheese Richmond Hill for my daughter's birthday party, and we are amazed by the charcuterie board. From presentation to the veriaty of cold cuts, cheeses, fruit and nuts was just stunning. A true Italian taste. The mega pizza is a real MEGA, it was freshly made and right on time for order pick up. Special thanks Marilen with the help on the charcuterie board, which made the impossible to be possible. Especially help with taking the order out to my car. Can't express more how appreciated and pleased with the quality of food and service that they delivered. I would highly recommend this place if anyone that is looking for party or event food. Great service and friendly staff and owner. Thumbs up !!

Always a pleasure shopping here. My go to for the foccacia (red style). Also the deli. The bakers and deli guys are always so nice and accommodating. I usually get my specialty items there also. The honey truffles is a must for a lot of items.

Grande Cheese is a beautiful little Italian delicatessan/grocery. Tonnes of cheese, deli cut options, prepackaged and whole. Pasta, meats, sauces, dairy, hot food and baked goods. Prices were higher than expected for what was listed as an outlet. Gelato bar was closed, but I'm guessing it was due to the time of year (late November), which is a bummer as we planned to buy some! While we didn't purchase anything, the staff was very friendly! Would visit again, hopefully when the gelato bar is open.

I ordered the charcuterie style platter over the weekend. A wonderful lady named Marilen help arrange and put it together. They weren't able recreate the exact platter from their website at the RH location so she suggested substitutes. The substitutes were all suitable and actually cost the store more than the original items but I got it for the original price which was awesome. I got the platter for my daughter's bday party serving 10 guests. There was more than enough.

It saddens me to have to write this review! Customer service at the lowest level! My experience started after the following happened: I purchased a Milano panettone pere e cioccolato from Grande Cheese Richmond Hill, around the 2nd week of December 2023. I brought the panettone to a Christmas celebration, when the panettone was opened a pile of tiny brown ants fell out from the wrapped paper, it looked like a pile of sand. It was very shocking to say the least. This was a panic situation since there was other food on the counter, the panettone was quickly put in a plastic bag and thrown outside and cleanup of the ants on the counter top. There wasn’t any time to take pictures. After this happened I was only about to salvage the tag and string from the panettone. I called Grande Cheese to explain the situation and I was referred to the distributor!!!!! Grande cheese manager did not want to speak to me!!! unfortunately Grande Cheese has absolutely the worst customer service and the manager Cesar didn’t even wish to call me back to hear what happened! I wrote this exact message to head office and heard nothing!!!! This is completely unacceptable in terms of how a manager would not even have interest to make things right. The tag I was able to salvage shows a small piece of grande cheese where the price was to prove the panattone was purchased from your store. I would really like someone who cares to contact me.

This place is spotless! Good selection of cheese from around the world. The lady at the cheese counter is super happy and helpful. Small prepared foods section. I think you can grow it. I'd certainly order more! Nice sélection of coffees including local roasters and tougher to find Italian brands. This place understands customer service. Prices are consistent with the market.

I recently had the pleasure of exploring the wide array of cheeses offered by Grande Cheese, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. One of the most remarkable aspects of Grande Cheese is the sheer diversity of their cheese selection. From classic cheddar to creamy mozzarella, aged Parmesan to tangy blue cheese, they have something to satisfy every cheese lover's palate.

My husband and I often visit this store whenever we're in the area. The moment you enter this store/supermarket, you are transported to Italy. From the large variety of authentic Italian imported cheese and pasta (all kinds of spaghetti and linguine) to the oven cooked pizza and ready-made food section, you can find most of what you want in a supermarket in Italy. In uptown Toronto, this is as close as we can get to Italia (until the next time we vacation in Italy again). If you are in downtown Toronto, visit Eataly, which is like the fine dining version of this store.

Small grocery store focusing on cheese and everything that goes with cheese. Prices are a little higher than a large grocery store, but there is much more variety and I think better quality. Some of the better quality regular grocery store items can be found here too. We have always shopped in the evening so the fresh bread is usually gone by then, but I got lucky a couple times and really liked the bread

The Richmond Hill location is the best. Their products are fresh and they have a wide variety. The staff are friendly and interested in customer needs. I have had many functions which Grande came through for me. Cesare has always accommodated and provided pristine service for my family. Marylin is sheer joy to chat with, greets everyone with a smile and prepares the BEST creatively designed boards and treats for any function. Marissa & the bakery team as well as Fatima and The deli team ready to smile and chat and provide your deli cuts! Everyone is 'home friendly' here- just like family! Great selection of cheeses and meats. You can find a ton of imported cheeses from various regions of Italy. The hot table is great for a quick take-out bite. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

First time at this location. I want to point out the outstanding service I received from Marilyn. She sure does know alot about cheese! I asked her some recommendations for a nice cheese for a charcuterie board and asked if I could sample one cheese. She was kind enough to let me sample 3 different kinds and we ended up buying all of them. She then asked us if we have ever tried the truffle cheese and told us the sale they were having. We ended up buying that too! Her kind, friendly service should be recognized! Thank you again Marilyn!

Everything is so clean and tidy. I found a lot of rare items you cannot purchase at a normal grocery store. Loved the massive deli sandwich for only $5. The prosciutto sandwich is my favourite.

The cheese department’s Marilyn makes shopping in this store a memorable event rather than just a shopping trip. She knows cheese well and can help guide you through prospective choices.Her enthusiasm, passion and knowledge are incredible. I will definitely return to this store for her guidance. Aside from aged truffle pecorino we were able to buy the elusive cuttlefish ink to make black pasta.

Nice store, nice people. Good selection of Italian cheese. Nice selection of deli meat. People move a little bit slow, but that's okay.

The deli worker Angela gave the best service I've ever received! My meat has never been sliced so meticulously and beautifully. Watching her slice that mortadella made me feel some kind of way and makes me want to come back every weekend just for her.

Amazing!!! One of my favourite things about moving back to Richmond Hill. Kind, courteous, and friendly. Store has areas well marked for distancing and sanitizers available. But the best thing is The Food!!!! Nice, fresh deli meats and cheeses. A wonderful selection of imported Italian goods. Delicious pastries. And I tell everyone I can about the pizza!!!! Omg this place smelled fabulous inside, pizza being made in the back and the aroma of fresh was screaming at me. I brought my friend to the store this time was our first.

Amazing custom service and a very clean place! Everything is so fresh! Even the day old bread and pizzas were surprisingly as fresh! Highly recommend you visit if you want some Italian groceries!

Had a great first visit to this location. “Marilynn’s” expertise in cheese, especially authentic truffle cheeses from Alba, Italy, was fantastic! She offers her knowledge and passion with her customers, generously! Other staff (bakery, cash) were also helpful and friendly. This store has a huge assortment and is very clean and tidy.

Great selection of specialty Italian products. Lots of Hot table takeout selections, store made pizzas are great, get fresh breads and buns, extensive deli and massive world cheese options. I'm here several times a week.

I recently visited this Grande Cheese location and was very impressed with the products I purchased. I was provided with extremely friendly and professional customer service from Vincenzo, a deli associate who ensured that my cold cuts were sliced to absolute perfection. This is a place to find all ingredients for Mediterranean cousin particularly Italian and Greece. I like the variety of cheese and pastas. There are cooked and quickly prepared foods as well.

I wasn't happy on my last visit. There was no staff at the cheese counter. My husband had to find someone to help us who didn't seem inclined to weigh the different cheese kinds I needed and only offered me those already pre-weighed which really made me spend more money. I didn't like the canoly, I have had better. Anyway, I appreciate the Italian foods I am able to find there like bacci chocolate.

Love this place....Marion (Cheese Manager) was very helpful finding the exact cheese I wanted. The samples she offered me quickly helped me make up my mind! Nice location with a big parking lot. However the main downside here is the selection, seems like there is a lot less variety compared to the location that is off of Keele.

Great place for cheese. Love the deli in the back. Fantastic veal parmesan and pizza. Nice selection of groceries as well.

Regular at the Woodbridge location and this one is just as good. Pizza is just as good. Great for a quick lunch on the go. Big square slice for under $4.

I came to buy pasta 15 mins before they close and they locked the doors . They still have the sign open . Very disappointing

A great place to get fresh cheese and perfectly sliced deli meats. Their hot table is also great and prices are in line with other stores like it. Customer service is also stellar and the employees speak various languages incase you don't understand English.
