It was very pretty and quiet. Some people were there for the fishing and kayaking, but the park was surprisingly quiet for the 4th of July weekend

This place is super nice. As soon as you pass the gates. Turn left and you'll go down a steep hill. That is fun. It's not often you go down a small decline like that. The park is nice. It like two parks in one. One side is by the river. There is a track there you can walk or jog. Maybe take a mountain bike and ride the trail. Its very peaceful and quite. Follow the street and it leads to the back of the park. Then you'll go up a gradual incline. Mi ot bad at all. Then you're @ the other side of the park. There is a play ground basketball court and a large field. I'll be back to pit my canoe in the river. The water looks a little low.

Great place for a nature walk. Found some interesting beetles in mass. Called blistering beetles... careful do not touch! Mesquite trees with edible pods. Lots of Pecan trees .

A hidden gem! Small but beautiful! Our neighbor canoes there and said the river does all the work (they just go for the ride). Can't wait to go back and just chill. Wish they had overnight camping.

Beautiful place with peaceful nature all around. Nice trails to walk through. (I am giving the 4 stars instead of 5 stars only because the trails are rocky making it more challenging for people like me with walking challenges) Other than that difficultly for me, it is a wonderful park.

It's nice and shady for trails..it's not very long so if you are a beginner. It's a good experience. It's good for dogs but you should definitely bring your dogs own water and bowl.

Beautiful park and so CLEAN. That is a huge selling point for us. They have a covered playground, basketball court and a walking trail.

My daughter has grandma day every Saturday here! It’s a beautiful park. The play ground equipment needs a little maintenance. But it’s a clean , beautiful park

Lovely area, people are still awful about trash but the grounds keepers do a good job.

Love this park, we usually go to walk, but haven't utilized the camping or picnic areas as of yet, but will definitely use in the future. So this venture was pretty cool, they had the fall festival going on some good food, great activities even a hey ride gotta love that. Check out the pics a antique auto show as well, there is a covered pavilion restrooms throughout the park some beautiful old trees and grilling pits, personally I feel this is a great park for walking and nature observation, love photography do it here as well...but like always you check it out and decide for yourself.

Went for a fall festival located here. Parking was good however not much to the place. Overall doesn’t seem to be well taken care of.

Attended the SAWS River Authority Fall Festival & Car Show. Our first visit to the park. We had a great time, lots of vendors and activities for the kiddos. We really enjoyed the Luke Prater Show.

👍👍 Beautiful display, well-maintained, and wonderful staff at Chad's Winter Wonderland. The cinnamon bread and hot cocoa are delicious. If you want to have a great evening out with family, come here. Must have cash though.

👍👍 What a dope course! There's 18 holes with the front 9 being much different than the back, which is always nice. Very well kept & a variety of shots. Nothing too challenging as there's only 3-4 Par 4s I believe. Stoked to come back in the future!
