If I could give this restaurant six out of five stars I certainly would! Cozy and stylish yet unpretentious atmosphere, excellent, friendly, professional, smiling staff. Super delicious and tasty food!! On the night I was there this restaurant nailed the holy three factors for being an amazing restaurant, namely atmosphere service and food quality. You’d be forgiven thinking that I had an incentive or a bias towards this restaurant. I do not. We were served by Joshua and seated by Clint. They, along with the atmosphere, food ( & very reasonable prices) simply delivered an outstanding experience. Well done Bona Italian, Well done.

I had heard that the Bona Italian restaurant was somewhat dated but what I encountered was something fresh even if the guys dining there were not so (Boomers). This is definitely a more upscale offering which to me translates into someone is going to take me there as his date. Oh and the bread, you could scarf down those garlic rolls like candy until you started counting the calories. The meal came with a nice salad. My pasta dish had a touch of lemon which delighted my taste buds. The servers are very pleasant and it was just a really nice meal. It helped that my date paid for it.

I was visiting from the west coast and happened to come across this place on google. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this restaurant. Everything was so amazing. The food was awesome and it was so nice to see many gluten free options on the menu. My martini was fabulous. Our server and host were so polite and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely stop by again when we are in the area next time. It was one of the most pleasant dining experiences I have had in awhile.

Bona was recommended by our resort host as a place for us to go, and I should add that my partner was asking for a place to go to celebrate my birthday. We were SO HAPPY with the recommendation! First: the atmosphere was very casual and comfortable. Our server was very friendly and accommodating to whatever our questions and requests were. On that note: the food was amazing! Whatever you do, get the garlic butter rolls... you're welcome, in advance!

Seen this place for years and thought it would be another typical Wilton restaurant with poor and bland food… I was shocked. The lasagna was the best I’ve had in years…..the service was the best I’ve seen in Wilton!!!!!!!

This place is lovely. The food is delicious, service is great, and the owners are so kind. Thank you Glen! I got chicken Parmigiano and my husband got the ravioli. We shared tiramisu.

The owner of this restaurant knows what great service means. It was later on Saturday night and we did not have reservations, which was bad on our part (read between the lines: call for reservations!) We had had such a rough day, and were exhausted with kiddos - all we were craving was good Italian food. We were able to enjoy some cocktails while we waited and this man went out of his way to make a space for us. The food was exceptional, and both the owner and the waitress were so kind, it was amazing. This will be one place we will return to when we visit as it is one classy place, for a variety of reasons. If you get the chance to dine here, do not hesitate. You will be so glad you did!

From the second we walked in we felt so welcome!! The man who sat us told us some history about the place and our server Matthew was absolutely amazing!! The whole staff worked together as a team and were some of the kindest and most attentive people I've had in seriously such a long time! And the FOOD!!!!!!! The food was awesome and Matthew was so good at telling us about the menu and gave perfect recommendations based on what I was in the mood for. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

Love Bona! The owners are lovely, always checking in on you to make sure you’re having a good experience. The staff are kind and attentive. The cocktails are delicious and they change with holidays. The martinis are my favorite. My favorite dish is the eggplant Parmesan, but everything is good. And the portions are HUGE, perfect for leftovers or sharing with family/friends. And you have to get a bowl of the garlic knots because the sauce on top is unreal. One of my favorite spots when I visit the area!!!

We made reservations for 5pm and were seated at 5pm by a very welcoming gentleman at the reception. Our wait person, Mathew was very polite, and efficient, with the nicest personality. The food was just delicious, just the right size portion with great flavor. The restaurant overall, left nothing to be desired. If you visiting the Fort Lauderdale area, try this Italian eatery, you won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time today and will definitely be returning! Mark, the owner, explained their plant based options to us. We had the vegan calamari, bruschetta, pizza and pasta with some vegetables and it was all amazing! The staff is super nice too! On Mondays the restaurant donates to a non profit!

Wow, great food, service ambience and price. Socially responsible owners who regularly give back 10% of the evening's receipts to local charitable organizations and they provide a raffle basket chock full of Italian food goodies plus a $50 Bona gift certificate. All raffle ticket sales go to the identified local charitable organization. Truly a wonderful dining experience and a make you feel good experience supporting local charitable organizations.

This was the first time my partner and I dined here and our experience was amazing. Matthew, our server, was completely on point. He was extremely attentive, made excellent recommendations, and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Glen, the manager, also stopped by our table multiple times. We were very impressed. I’ve been here several times during the past few months and each time is perfection. The vibe is casual and unpretentious. The owners, servers, everyone - are just so friendly and the food is great. I just ordered their pizza for delivery and was pleasantly surprised. It was unique in a good way. I actually liked it better than New York style. Looking forward to my next visit.

The food here is always delicious… the atmosphere is great… the service and staff are spot on - and they treat you like family. We probably eat here one a month on a way to a show at The Foundry… highly recommended!

The food is good, yes. But honestly every time we drive down from Orlando we come here hoping Cheryl is working. Her smile is infectious and her personality is one that more in the world could Afford to adopt. She makes every dining experience here one in a million.

This was our first time here and we had a great experience. Service, atmosphere, drinks and of course food. The highlight of the night was when the owner came over to greet us. He was so charismatic and made us feel welcome and like we were old friends. We'll be back!!

First time there on 07/30/22 and won't be the last. This place is beyond welcoming. It's warm and cozy, has super positive vibes running through the whole place. The food and drinks are on a whole new level. The waitstaff are professional and kind. Never had to ask for a refill on water. From the risotto balls to the braised short rib special to the cheese cake and ice cream. Everything was firing on all cylinders of flavor. The Italian Sunset Martini was by far one of my favorite drinks and pairs nicely with the food. I cannot wait till the next time I go. If you are looking for some excellent Italian food, this place has it.

Friendly n good service, went thru sticker shock at prices as haven't been there in awhile. Had beer and pizza, others had entrees. Food was good. Salads need to be more appealing, esp. at the price point. Overall, I'd go back.

I've been going fairly recently and love it! I love the pasta straws and AMAZING food! Definitely worth it to go on Monday to support the local fundraisers! Thanks for the consistent great time!

Although we have visited Fort Lauderdale for many years, last night was our first time experiencing Bona. We've been really hungry for pizza since we arrived, but were a bit apprehensive as past experiences at other "recommended" establishments (all near the beach) were average at best. We each ordered a cocktail and house salad and shared a medium pizza. The cocktails were good, the salads were a bit lackluster, but the pizza was absolutely extraordinary - definitely exceeding our expectations. Quick glances at dishes being served to surrounding guests looked equally appealing. Service has suffered at many restaurants since the pandemic started, but Bona's service was spot-on. Congrats to the owners, chefs and servers on a job well done! Bona is now at the top of our list! If your host happens to be Mark, ask him about his experience handling a trespassing iguana at his home. <smile>

Got there early and had a table of 7. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Chill vibe. We had appetizers - mozzarella sticks, bruschetta, calamari and all were good. I ordered the "medium" stromboli and was warned it was big. And it was! Tasty! It was an entire loaf of bread and I didn't even make a dent in it. Friends all had pasta and said it was good. Be aware that the happy hour prices posted outside are for Aperitivo only, not in the restaurant.

Great staff... excellent service and great food. New England Clam Chowder was excellent as was the main course. I had the Chicken Cyriac with angel hair pasta.

Nice to be able to visit again with travel restrictions lifted ! While not exactly NY style, ( the crust is a little too thick) their sauce is flavourful and they don't skimp on the toppings. Two of our favourites are the Meat Lovers & Supreme. Everyone should be supporting local small businesses - especially throughout the last two years. Skip the chains - you'll be pleasantly surprised.
