Was rudely approached by someone who claimed to be the owner of the property asking in a condescending way “and where are you staying”….opposed to asking if we had a nice evening and explain the policy of the hotel. Keep in mind we walked our friend home and were standing outside the pool having a discussion with a few friends in shorts and polo prior to going back to our hotel down the street. Nothing short of respectful. Proceeded to ask me for $30 if I wanted to stay and hang out. As a follow up, I wouldn’t give you $1 to stay and hang out nor recommend your “resort” to friends or family. 2. If you are in fact the owner of this business you need to take some classes in hospitality 3. If you aren’t the owner you deserve to be fired for your lack of professionalism. Take the hard message, own it & learn from it.

Very disappointed in Ed Lugo Resort. We booked a poolside 4. We noticed the website had changed the description a few days before we came. I called and was told its the same room but a small path. It's nowhere near the pool. We are (No kidding) in an alley with a washer and dryer in the path. Getting to the pool is an uneven path and up a deck an down again. I really don't appreciate being duped. It was too late to find other accommodations. The staff was very friendly. Welcome cookies and cocktails were great. They have free cocktails until 4. Very nice. Great location. With so much positive here I can't understand why they would be so deceptive.

Did not stay at this location. Visited because of event hosted by Flockfest at this venue. Setting was perfect, so many libations and adults with excellent indulgences.

Awesome getaway spot for the gays and allies. Perfect location walking distance to all the fun that Wilton Manors has to offer.

Ed’s is the best place to stay within walking distance of the drive. The rooms are spotlessly, clean and relatively modern. They are all clustered around a lovely yard with a pool and waterfall. If you’re lucky on the weekends, there is a pool party going on, this might not be the spot if you want a really quiet place.

We had a wonderful few days here. Very welcoming with so many nice extra touches like drinks offered by pool and complimentary snacks and soda and water in rooms. Beautiful gardens and pool area. Highly recommend.

As close to downtown Wilton Manors that you can get. Forget needing a car, you can walk a short distance to anything or Uber to the beach and save on parking. Staff are very friendly and the pool area can be relaxing or fun....take your pick!

Just enjoyed a really lovely and relaxing weekend at Ed Lugo Resort. It’s a beautiful oasis with clean rooms, a peaceful atmosphere, and service that is incomparable. Ed and all of the staff are attentive without being intrusive and really make you feel at home and welcome from the moment you step foot into the office to check-in. The pool area is cozy and relaxing and the perfect place to enjoy the south Florida sun. It retains this atmosphere while also being literal steps from all the action and fun that Wilton Manors has to offer. While it was my first time staying there, like those that were also there during my stay, it won’t be my last.

Ed, the owner and Gil, the manager could not be more kind. It's a funky little retreat just steps from all the action. Our bed was so comfortable! We made many acquaintances and new friends. We look forward to returning.

Best place on the strip. Just extended our stay. Saved us from a horrible airbnb with a room at 11:00am. I will just book here from now on. Rooms are fabulous and pool and grounds are amazing. We love Eddie!!!!

Great service and friendly staff. I was greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies upon checkin and cocktails by the pool. The landscaping is a tropical oasis.....absolutely beautiful!

Nice resort. Ed has made a backyard oasis in his resort. The pool and waterfall are peaceful. The hot tub is great for relaxing. The hammock is heaven. You just look at the sky through the trees and you are at peace. Ed makes you feel welcome from the start (share a shot!). He takes your experience seriously. He wants you to enjoy yourself...and you will. Ed is gracious, welcoming, and friendly. Rooms are nice, bed is super comfy. Other guests at the resort are chill and friendly. We will definitely go back. You just cannot beat the service that Ed provides.

Beautiful gay retreat in the middle of Wilton Manor. The hosts are lovely and welcoming. The pool area is one of the nicest of the clothing optional resorts in Ft Lauderdale. Rooms are clean and attractive and well equipped. It's intimate and friendly. Highly recommended if you want to stay close to the action on Wilton Drive.

I've never stayed here, but I've been here for a number of events. The staff, including Ed Lugo himself, is awesome. The public spaces are immaculate and provides a lot of room for sunning, meeting and greeting, and enjoying the pool and/or hot tub. If you're looking for a clothing optional resort that is in the heart of Wilton Manors (Fort Lauderdale's gayest neighborhood), this is the place to book.

Amazing experience. The place is gorgeous, quite, clean and decorated exquisite. Lots of details and thoughts put into it. Ed is a super nice guy, very welcoming and such a great host. The location is on point, walking distance from shops and entertainment. I was blown away, can't wait to come back.

Wow...what can I say? I was hesitant to stay at an LGBT resort but it was the best decision ever. The place is great, the staff is amazing, and the guests are enjoyable to be around. No judgement ever! Ed Lugo goes out of his way to make everyone's stay the best ever. No wonder so many return because I will be one if them too!

My husband and I just came back from the Ed Lugo Resort. Ed was so hospitable. He greeted us with a cocktail and he has a continual smile on his face. The staff are as friendly and hot as well. We met some fun fun guests that made our stay just as exciting and fun as well. This was my first time to Florida and staying at Ed Lugo is highly recommeded.

My Partner and I loved our stay. Ed is amazingly kind and keeps a tight ship. The rooms are lovely and his team excells. They deserve every 5 star they get! Just a tip. All types of guest stay here. Put up good boundaries and you won't have any issue. You are the sum of the company you keep.
