Good food, great service and the atmosphere is just amazing . Looks like a bunch of huts that got together and turned the street into a Mexican oasis. There’s was live music and that added to the experience. There was a market that looks like part of the cluster but it was closed when we were there. Scattered around were giant sized board games that looked like fun. The places have many different sitting areas indoors and outdoors. The food was authentic and exactly what I’d expect from a restaurant in Mexico. Reasonably priced too. I’ll definitely go back.

While I am known for swallowing the whole enchilada, this is more of a taco place, and a pretty good one. They feature tacos with different “flavors” including smoked brisket which was a flavor explosion. La Mexicana offered a $9.95 lunch with included a drink, two tacos and some beans and rice. The server kept asking if I wanted an appetizer I guess thinking the lunch meal would be somewhat skimpy. But in the interest of my shapely figure, I was perfectly fine with the lunch offering. Being able to dine outside on a beautiful day was priceless as was the general atmosphere.

Super cute spot with plants and decorations everywhere. We stayed and drank a while with a big group and our server was awesome. We split some apps and they were pricey but delicious.

I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Mexican restaurant recently. The variety and authenticity of the dishes were astounding. Each plate we ordered was full of flavors that danced and sang of the vibrant Mexican culture. The Fish Tacos were a revelation. Crispy yet tender fish, complemented by a tangy slaw and chipotle sauce that tied the dish together perfectly. A surprising but delightful balance of textures that had us coming back for more. Next, we tried the Ceviche. Fresh, zesty, and bursting with citrus notes. The dish was skillfully prepared, showcasing the delicate flavors of the seafood beautifully. An absolute must-try for any seafood lover! The Steak Tacos were hearty and robust, packed with tender, juicy strips of steak. The quality of the meat was unquestionably high, cooked to perfection and seasoned just right, making these tacos a memorable part of our meal. As a vegetarian option, the Mushroom Tacos stood out in a league of their own. The mushrooms were succulent and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. Combined with the freshness of the toppings, these were a hit, proving that meat-free options need not be dull. The dips, Guacamole and Cheese, deserve a special mention. The guacamole was creamy and fresh, with a wonderful hint of lime and cilantro. The cheese dip, warm and luxuriously creamy, was the perfect accompaniment to the crisp tortilla chips served alongside. All in all, this was an incredible dining experience. The quality of the food, the warm, attentive service, and the vibrant atmosphere left an indelible mark on our evening. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican culinary journey, look no further. We can't wait to return!

This restaurant is located in Wilton Manor at the ending of the neighborhood. Beautiful scene and colorful bar, I visited on taco Tuesday so there was food and drinks specials as well. Staff was very helpful and the service was extremely fast, we didn’t have to wait long for our food or drinks, only reason for the 3 stars because the food is not all that, very bland, nothing to get hype about. My favorite taco was the mushroom taco, to me this was the only taco I had that taste good. The drinks was not so great either. Water down and barely any alcohol in it. Overall, I would revisit, I would make sure to try other food choices and request a shot or two in my drinks.

Pretty good tacos and drinks. Love the outdoor area! I enjoyed the live music Saturday night. We enjoyed the chicken and fish tacos. Fresh and tasty. Can't wait to come back!

Finally found it! An option in Wilton better than Tulios! Normally I wouldn't talk trash about another place - however the ambience alone in addition to food and drink options are far superior here than there! Definately a must dine place when in the area! Saturdays they also host drag brunch so make sure to check them out then too! Parking - very limited in front make sure to take a sharp right into the back parking area behind the yoga studios!

This was a nice find. The staff is super friendly and you can’t beat the prices for margarita Monday’s! $1 for 7 oz margaritas and $2 for 13 oz. We had such a great time we came back the next day for Taco Tuesday. The bartender Juan Camilo is awesome and thank you Juan Esteban for recommending the appetizers! I’m definitely coming back!

Went here for lunch and it was absolutely amazing. Google had the wrong opening time but the waitress Lola still served us right away! She was so kind and helpful. Lola recommend the trees amigos to us and it was 10/10. Tacos were also really good. Definitely will come back when we visit again!

First time tonight , the server Manuela was nice . I ordered the Birria Quesadilla, Yuca Bites & for dessert Churros w Ice Cream . Everything I ate was delicious 🤤, but I do admit that I think the Birria Quesadilla would have been better If the ONIONS was cooked grille instead of Raw a onions on top of it . All & all I enjoyed everything I ate.

We just moved to Fort Lauderdale and wanted to try a brunch spot nearby. The entire experience at La Mexicana was absolutely wonderful. We were seated immediately and our server Sebastian gave us flawless service. We had breakfast burritos and a breakfast quesadilla, both phenomenal. Sebastian was super attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely come back and will hopefully see Sebastian again. His service made the whole experience, and the food was just perfect! The atmosphere was the cherry on top.

The atmosphere was very nice, me and my friend went on a Friday night and they had karaoke so it was fun but the restaurant was kind of empty. It might be because it’s hidden in a corner between warehouses and the parking lot is not well lit so you would never know there’s a restaurant down that alley way. The food is very authentic and our waiter was very nice and cool. They had good music playing and the style and decorations were really pretty. We got there an hour and half before they closed but when we were finishing our food it was probably 30 minutes before they closed and we felt a bit rushed but other than that it’s a really nice place I will definitely go back.

Felt for some Mexican last night and my search brought this up. Headed out with my toddler and a friend. Location is decent. Parking wasn’t too much of a hassle but it also was not a busy night at all. Walking in all the lights I saw in pics were not really on. I guess since the other adjoining establishments seem to be closed. I went on a Thursday night. We seated ourselves (not sure what the process will be on a busy night) and our server came over not too long after. Service was pleasant and pretty fast. We ordered corn appetizer, placed toddler fries and chicken finger order 🙄. Then he went over the menu with us and gave suggestions for drinks. Everything was delicious. The kids meal wasn’t amazing; I was actually surprised they had the option lol. I’m ready to go back say on a Friday or weekend night where I’m sure it’s busier. They also had life entertainment.

Walked in to an empty indoor setting. It took a while for the server to take our order. However, she apologized and was very attentive after. We order queso fundido but it wasn’t really cheese. It was a paste and it was okay. The birria tacos were good. Corn was okay, less flavorful than I’m used to.

I went during the day! Lunch time around 1pm. The service was horrible I had to complain after 20 min waiting! Please keep in mind it was lunch and only 2 tables had service. Yes they did acknowledge me when we got there, the waitress even seated us, so she knew wee were there. They need a better system for the flies, so many! I could eat my food. Music! Not all speakers were on, the one speaker was blasting the music that didn't sound good. Hopefully next time I'll go at night time and have a better experience. Parking was bad, very space space for parking considering they have a market place and 3 restaurant at the entrance.

This is a fun spot to grab a margarita and people watch in there outdoor area. The quesadillas were good but the nachos fell flat. The sangria wasn't very good but there margaritas made up for it

Went to celebrate my bday with a party of 10 for brunch and the staff was able to keep up with all our orders and special requests. Our waitress was amazing and the rest of the staff! They had a live singer who made our day so much more fun! We danced, sang, drank and ate til our hearts content! Can't wait to go back! Oh and the food was delicious!

Hidden gem! Great atmosphere that gives you true authentic Mexican vibe. Our server Laura was awesome, very friendly and made great suggestions. We went twice! Monday they had happy hour with $1and $2 classic margaritas. Had the Birria tacos (no picture, I was too hungry and forgot to take one 🙄). Service, food and price 5/5!!! Will definitely return if in the area again.

Hidden gem! The best spot in the area for Taco Tuesday! Ericka was amazing, she was constantly checking on us making sure we always had our drinks and shots, she hit the spot with her tequila recommendation (mango flavored, sounds weird but it was delicious) we’re definitely coming back!!! Highly recommended, Margaritas and tacos are delicious.

The little spot is right next to The Alchemist, they had plenty parking in the back. We went for Taco Tuesday deals, the food was awesome and the ambiance was nice. The only cons were that they were playing county music the whole time which was surprising for a place that promotes Spanish vibes and they had wooden chairs that were pretty uncomfortable. Besides that I loved it and I would come back hopefully there’s better music.

Went here to do a food photoshoot for this place a while back. Food was good, though since we were taking photos of it we didn't necessarily get to eat it while it was warm. But what I had there after was still good. And what I took home to heat up later was also still tasty. The drinks are fancy and good. Fun little spot to hang out and eat with friends that also has some good photo back drops due to the decor.

Came here today for the taco Tuesday special that I heard so much about . They were delicious 😋. I got a couple of el pastors and carnitas highly recommended 👌. Aside from the food being delicious, my waiter Lola was AMAZING. She was so nice and friendly and gave me the best service for my first time eating here, I'm definitely coming back with some friends. Before i forget, the drink was $8 for a jumbo !! Two of those, and you're done! Lol. You are not going to beat that.

Excellent flavorful eats. We had a variety of dishes and all were scrumptious. The cost per portion ratio could be greater than they are however 😏, but the authentic Mexican street feel and quaintness of the venue is great!!!

I took my family together to celebrate my wife’s bday here. I have to say the experience was fantastic, the service provided by our server Marcia was awesome, I went with everything that she recommended, the drinks and the food were phenomenal! The whole vibe and the fact that it was kid friendly was great! I’ll be back for sure. I wish I could’ve brought my camera, the decor of the place is amazing

Great food, great service, and great ambiance! We were able to enjoy live music while my wife sipped bottomless mimosas. I enjoyed a mint lemonade as we both ate wonderful Mexican food. We love to bicycle here as it is close to our house and are never disappointed.
