We booked this motel for 3 nights mostly because of surprisingly good reviews and price. I believe all these good reviews are fake. Our room had mold spots on the wall (see the pic). It had terrible smell probably from the strong cleaners, I assume, to hide cigarette and/or dope smell which was quite strong on the parking lot outside. The AC was extremely loud. I do NOT recommend this motel.

We travel a LOT, currently we’re on our way back to California from Virginia. Finding decent hotels that are not crazy expensive is difficult. This place is fantastic. The owners take great care of the place, it’s clean, very friendly and the breakfast is outstanding. The best we’ve had on this trip so far.

Honestly, I've never stayed at a Best Western and my expectations were low. The Winchester location was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms were clean, functional, and updated. The wifi worked great and TV was loaded with channels. The breakfast buffet was adequate and the staff was friendly. They were pet friendly which was a must for us. Overall, everything worked out great and I would certainly recommend this location.

Very clean and updated rooms, I was very pleasantly surprised! The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Every employee we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the area was safe!

This hotel was what we needed for our week in Winchester. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days in the area. This was an affordable and safe option for our stay. We found the room to be clean and comfortable. Not luxurious or modern, but efficient. We enjoyed the hot and cold breakfast options and are every morning. The room for breakfast was peaceful and we enjoyed relaxing there to start our morning. We never felt rushed or unwelcome. The pool was closed off season and there was no elevator. Also there is a rather steep road leading in and out. But, the area was off the main road/highway and quiet. Thank you!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with the price.

This motel is one of the most cared for motel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at many as I travel a lot. The exterior and parking lot is maintained and spotless. The rooms are also well kept and clean. Breakfast is well done and staff are very attentive. Thank you for a great stay. I hope to stay here again.

We sure enjoyed staying here in this well kept and clean best western. Cute and very clean and organized breakfast room. Tim was very nice and helpful and even gave us a coupon for DJ’s steakhouse. We even stayed an extra night!….prior to our visit we had seen 3 nightmares in Covington…so we were relieved to find such a gem of a place and we felt safe!

I recently spent a month at the Winchester Best Western, while my home was undergoing renovations. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and clean. I had to work from the room, and the manager made sure I had a room near the router. I had a fast and reliable connection.

UPDATED JULY 2023: We returned for our second stay this year and had the same good experience. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast options! I’m so glad we stayed here! We needed a reasonably priced hotel for the night and this was extremely clean and the room was comfortable. The front desk staff member was polite and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent breakfast with more options than I typically experience at hotels/motels. Thank you!

I had taken video but this breakfast buffet is delicious and very varietal. Even at 8am still very full and warm. We came in late around 7-8pm and were greeted very warmly, very professional. Rooms, very clean, very nice, no complaints, very comfortable. Don senor mexican restaurant around the corner was very tasty and yummy margaritas (101 flavors), Winchester on a Monday seems to shut down by 9pmish. Definitely would stay here again!! I took a video to show the breakfast bar but I can’t upload it! This really is a great place to stay!!
