I hate to leave a poor review. But I must. I got the Chicken, Broccoli & Penne. The sauce was way too heavy and rich, the chicken was chewy & poor quality, and the dish it was served in was unnaturally hot, indicating it was likely microwaved. And it was too expensive. It was a generous portion but I only ate half of it. The restaurant needs to just get rid of this dish and never bring it back. I’m sure they do other things well and I would go back for breakfast.

Okay food, great menu, okay service and great prices. Food is good for the price. Great everyday place to eat!

I have been here before and got some terrible steak tips but decided to give them another chance. I also found out that they have parking behind the restaurant. Today I had the lunch Vinegar Pepper Pork Chop. This was a good sized chop on the bone that was cooked nicely and well seasoned. The potatoes was roasted nicely but a tad overcooked. The crispy peppers were appropriately vinegary. I was very happy with my lunch today.

What a disappointment. The lobster Benedict is awful. The lobster is dry and tastes like it was cooked on a less than spotless griddle. The lobster looked more like hash and was an over cooked stringy mess. The poached eggs and few strips of asparagus were the saving grace of this dish but not enough to rescue the travesty of calling it a lobster Benedict. The potatoes were also over cooked. The Arlington Diner doesn't have a lobster Benedict but the food is much better overall.

Ordered the steak and eggs, medium rare. Served it to me well done. Didn't come back to check on it so I couldn't tell them about the mistake, nor did they even stop by to refill my coffee during my meal. Then, they had the balls to tack a "customer service fee" on my check.

I've eaten here three times. The first two were great, but the most recent one was "eh." I ordered ravioli and chicken, and upon biting into a piece of the chicken I discovered that it was essentially undercooked and therefore unconsumable. The rest of my ravioli chicken dish was soaked in oil and smelled what can only be described as "funky," which I am disappointed in.

Nice looking place. Parking is tough but the biggest flaw is the food. If you're going to serve breakfast you have to have the best quality product. I had bacon and eggs with French toast. Homefries were hard and coated in dirty grill. Bacon was poor quality and also tasted like dirty grill. Eggs were cooked fine but must have been medium sized not large. French toast tasted okay but arrived cold and was clearly made from cheap, white bread. The scali toast was good but unbuttered and cold when it arrived. I ate the eggs and the french toast left the rest. Service was fast no complaints and the decor is nice.

If you like diners, this one is not bad. No fuzz breakfast. Not too greasy. I had steak and eggs and the steak was perfectly made to order (medium-well). The coffee could need some help.

The wait staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was really good, reasonably priced, and it was served to us very shortly after we ordered. One great thing about this diner is that it's a hidden gem- we came here on a major holiday weekend, and there was no wait time. We got a table right away, and it wasn't uncomfortably packed with people. That's a huge selling point for me 😁

Parking is a little hard, but you can park right in front on the main street on the side of the diner. The eggs and bacon were good. The bacon was nice and thin and cooked perfectly. The potato had a different seasoning taste not to my liking. Pancakes were a little bland and syrup was very cold with no option for higher quality syrup. Service was good. Not sure if I would come back.

The fries, the tender juicy meats and awesome salads, are the Reasons I frequent this place. The staff is welcome, courteous and efficient. A great family atmosphere!

Service was incredible....food was perfect...and my wife and I had lunch for under $40.00!!! Swanson st in Winchester never looked so good!! One of my favorites is the clam chowder....don't plan to eat much more.... turkey club was awesome....it's all very good...a must!!! Enjoy

I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was very tasty. The waitress was very nice and attentive. It was only one other party in the restaurant when we went. The inside is very cozy and has a nice warm feel to it. There's parking on the street.

Found this place by accident and we loved it quick in and out breakfast diner. Excellent menu pleasant server's.

Very nice place. Have been there for breakfast and took 1/2 my omelet and potatoes home for another breakfast. Two meals for expected higher price. No complaints. Dinner was another story. Very high prices. Not worth it, meal was just OK. Not worth taking home. Might go back for breakfast. Service was great both times.

I’d rather not eat than come back to this diner. Came at 10am for a late breakfast. Ordered steak tips and a Belgian waffle - food was shockingly bland. Very thankful they provided salt, pepper, and syrup at the table. The waitress was inattentive after serving the food. Need a napkin or drink refill? Good luck. Didn’t hear a word from her after asking what type of toast I wanted.

My breakfast. Eggs fine, toast dry, no butter, home fries are usually browned a little, not at all here, none, zero, almost a little under cooked. The corned beef hash was obviously from a can which is fine but for all I know it could have been microwaved, it was heated but not one bit browned. I think it is assumed that breakfast food comes a little bit browned.......... I wonder if their salads and salad dressings are served at room temperature?

Went for breakfast. Sausage was cold inside like right out of the fridge also hash browns were room temp at best. Waitress did a good job but food was disappointing

We had a very late lunch, so we were essentially the only ones in the restaurant. The place is your typical small town diner, so you should not expect top of the line meals. Having said that, food and service were good. I had the scallops, my wife the salad. We were glad Winchester had a place to go and eat. We enjoyed eating there, would go back.

This is a sweet dinner. What you see is what you get. The food was fine, not hot, but fine. The service was fine. If you're looking for someplace with decent food, I'd go here.

Our family of 4 had omelettes and french toast. All were amazing! Great service, Great prices. If we were local - we’d be regulars.
