Certainly had the WOW factor here today! Greeted upon entry, table was set up and ready! Food was prompt, served beautifully, waitress Sophie was brilliant! Extremely impressed with our service and we will see you again real soon. Thank you so much for everything.

Love love love this place. Came here for lunch and really enjoyed it. The prices aren’t as steep as you think they are going to be. 2 course for £19 and 3 course for £24. The decor inside is lush and I love all the pictures everywhere and plants etc. The food was really tasty and well presented. The serving staff friendly and the general ambience really nice. It’s nice to sit outside also and watch the world go by.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at The Ivy in Winchester. Centrally located in the main High Street, the restaurant itself was extremely smart and the quality of our food was exceptional. Despite being very busy, the service was excellent with very little waiting for food to arrive. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. A very minor niggle was that the soap dispenser in the gents loo was either not working or had run out. Overall, a thoroughly pleasant experience in a quality restaurant.

Lovely restaurant with excellent food and service. Another review I read said the shepherds pie was the best they have had... and I'm inclined to agree as it was sublime! Also, the the loos were so clean that I took a pic for this review. I don't always take pics of loos but this one deserved it haha!! Thanks to Erica and the team for a memorable lunch. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal; a true fine dining experience. I loved everything: the chair was one of the most comfortable i have sat in, the table was the perfect height, the cutlery and glasses were high quality, the crockery perfectly suited the dish, food was gorgeous, overall ambience, the staff were professional and extremely well dressed, the toilets were perfumed and so clean I'd have eaten in there. It is not cheap here but you get what you pay for. A few car parks around within a couple minutes walk.

The Ivy -Winchester. A beautifully located restaurant in the heart of Winchester, it’s exactly where the restaurant belongs. nearby parking in a pedestrianised street, a happy face welcomes you to the venue and shows you to one of their many elegant tables, a waiter introduces themselves & checks in you regularly, service is top notch as is the service & feel of the place. would highly recommend.

Beautiful setting. Great menu for food and drinks. The peach iced tea blew my mind. We went on mother's day and I was given a complimentary bouquet of tulips! I had expected more breakfast items on the brunch menu but I wasn't disappointed in the selection available which was all cooked perfectly. The staff were kind and incredibly attentive. Attention to detail was impeccable.

We had a lovely meal here. Loved the decor. It's worth a visit just to see the toilets. Great service from our second waiter. You could tell he was a professional and not just some moonlighting student. Food was excellent and the cream teas look incredible. We'll be coming back for one of those.

My youngest daughter took my wife here for lunch with her family. Atmosphere, staff and food were exceptional. We were here during Wimbledon week and thought the dessert was extra special. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We recently attended the private room for a work party. The food was great as well as the service. The cocktails were also great. We were served to a very high standard and waited for nothing. The only reason I gave 4 opposed to 5 stars is because I had steak and should have bee. Medium rare but it was blue.

Best restaurant in Winchester by far. If you like zizi’s for courgette fritti’s then come here instead. We had the 1917 menu and were totally spoilt by the starters. Do remember to add sides to finish the mains as they come plain. Loved the smoothies and mocktails. Staff were amazing and always there just at the right moment. Amazing decor and Lovely atmosphere.

Wow! What a gorgeous place! I was taken here as a treat and what a treat it was! The staff here are wonderfully friendly and present themselves so well the uniforms are lovely! Our food was outstanding, packed full of flavour and textures and colour it truly was a foodies dream. There were 3 menus to choose from on our visit. We tried the asian section on our starters amd mains but you can mix and match the choice was excellent and they cater for all dietry requirements. We were too full for desert and im massively regretting not getting a pudding now. Cocktails were gorgeous, we went for a peach punch and an old fashioned twice as they were so yummy. Next time il make more room for pudding. It was really easy to book a table online the day before our visit however they do have a timer. We went lunchtime on a monday and it was full which speaks volumes! It was so clean and loved the decoration inside. It was just lovely 100 percent recommend vising here. Thank you Ivy for a lovely meal x

First time going to the Ivy, went for a managers Christmas lunch. Loved it! Great food, great service, atmosphere was beautiful, food was amazing! Had the smoked venison tartare, bone in rib eye, with truffle at parmesan chips and creme brulee for dessert. Wonderful. Will definitely be back!

We went on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was lovely; it was quite busy but that didnt affect our time in the restaurant. Waiters were lovely, friendly and attentive. We had plenty of time to enjoy our meal; food came out at a very reasonable time after ordering and all of our meals were delicious! We had drink, main and dessert. We parked at the multi-storey car park at the top of the high street and it was only a short walk to The Ivy… prices were very reasonable and the menu had lots to choose from. Would definitely return!

Popped in for breakfast. Was quiet when we arrived but by the time we were wrapping up there were more people. Excellent service, coffee, and tasty food. My son had the assorted pastries which he enjoyed and I had the smoked salmon with soda bread. Delicious. Can’t really go wrong here and was one of the nicer Ivy’s I’ve visited.

Lovely place to go for an occasion or just a drink and a nice meal. Food was delicious. The service was amazing. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere and the small outside area is a lovely area to sit on a nice evening and doesn't feel like you're sat right on the high street.

Great food for vegetarian menu, service was slightly less than i expected but it was Saturday night and they where very busy but had to wait a long time for first course, and although it was refunded, it still wasn't what i wanted as i was hank Marvin when we got there 😃 great chain though and will return..... Nb Norwich ivy was a way better building

Outstanding service as always at this lovely restaurant in Winchester highstreet. Atmosphere outside was lovely, with the buzz of the highstreet matched with the tranquility of an enclosed green space. Food was positively delightful, and nearly deserving of a full 5 stars. Chips where fuffy, fish was fresh and the desert a real showstopper. Let down slightly by the freshness of the garnish. Will be sure to return soon!

We visited tonight to celebrate my birthday and had a perfect meal. The food was absolutely delicious (recommend the truffle arancini balls) and so were the drinks. The staff are what makes the place so great, they were so attentive and professional and made our evening really special. Thank you to Lewis who was absolutely fantastic, and our other waiter who changed us over to another table as we wanted to sit next to each other (not sure we heard the name right but think it is Kyle or Carl) who was also lovely and so helpful.

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Winchester, look no further than The Ivy. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with warm and friendly service, a cosy and inviting atmosphere, and an incredible menu of delicious dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. Although there isn't any parking outside, I recommend Tower Street Car Park or the Chesil St Multi Storey Car Park. You might be lucky to find some parking near the Cathedral. The beautifully designed restaurant is comfortable, yet they make you feel right at home. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a fun night out with friends, The Ivy has something for everyone. The food is simply outstanding. I started with my favourite scallops, I can still taste them now. My steak was perfectly cooked, just as I requested, and the desserts were the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. But what really sets The Ivy apart is the service. The staff is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, making you feel like a VIP from start to finish. They're happy to make recommendations, answer questions, and ensure your dining experience is exceptional. Overall, The Ivy in Winchester is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food, service, and atmosphere. I can't recommend it highly enough and can't wait to go back myself!

Service was impeccable & food delicious. Best Hollandaise I've ever tasted & served separately. It was my birthday. The Ivy treated me to a chocolate cream choux puff. The atmosphere was good & the decor appealing (not a lot of Christmas excess tinsel) especially the up lighters in all the huge plants

Visited late on Monday afternoon. Having previously been to a few Ivy restaurants and was looking for something special, we decided to visit. Was given a table in the front of the restaurant, which was perfect. Our meal was good but no hamburgers available as was told they had sold out over the weekend. The service was slow throughout and my husband had to say something as we could not understand why, as the restaurant was very quiet and we felt neglected. They did compensate with a couple of desserts as this was a special lunch but we did not expect this sort of service from "The Ivy" and felt disappointed.

Nice place. Ate here during a short day trip to Winchester. Customer Service was phenomenal despite the busyness of the place. Order the steak and eggs, and sorbet from the 2 course set menu. Food was satisfying. The pot of coffee was served hot and was good. If in Winchester again, I'll be certain to stop by for another meal.
