Great spot to grab lunch and a few pints. Has lots of seating space both indoors and outdoors. The service is quick and the staff is lovely. There are so many options for drinks and for food. You can download their app and use it to place an order. The location is also quite good and faces the Windsor Castle. Highly recommend!

Loved the location, hated the boring Doom Bar beer! Loved the beer garden... food good, service & staff lovely!

Normally decent service however on busy days I would not recommend, it's been 1.75 hours and they haven't apologized or offered a way to get resolved. Even though I received an email they said it wasn't on their system. 2hours later - managed to get a refund and a ham panini eventually arrived and still not what we ordered at which point we did get an apology ... very poor customer service... staff need training with customer service manner as being busy isn't an excuse for making a customer feel like an inconvenience.

I would focus more on cleaning (glasses, tables etc). The food was good, though, also the drinks (diet tonic, perfect!). Plus the view, I had the table near the window with wonderful views over the Windsor Castle. Loved this!

This was our second visit to the King and Castle and being fans of Wetherspoons we were expecting big things. The building is a good size and spread over three floors, So when you enter from the main Street don't be put off if it looks busy. There is an upstairs and a downstairs eating areas. The food is the same good old Spoons menu, but sadly this was where we were let down. I ordered a chicken burger and after what felt like ages it arrived and it was burnt and although it was burnt the inside was not cooked. However I did mention it to a member of staff, who quickly replaced out burnt burgers, when the new ones arrived they weren't burnt and tasty yummy.

Set in a fantastic location, impressive views from the 1st floor booth. Another lovely building by Spoons. I thought the food was going to be more expensive than it actually was! Still cost a lot more than up north. A busy location but still good service, typical, good food what you expect from Spoons. #43 visited

The food was average, but the prices and location were excellent. I didn't realize you had to order at the bar, so I sat at the table for 20 minutes before asking someone. Just a heads up.

A standard Weatherspoons with plenty of seating options. The food is as expected, however the internet inside is not great and it makes ordering through their app a slow process.

Wetherspoons is always a nice experience because of the pricing, variety of food options and also for the abundance of space. The location is also great, very central and right next to the Windsor castle. There is so much seating space both indoors and outdoors which I loved! There’s a range of food options right from pub essentials, sharer plates, different cuisines. Needless to say there are loads of drinks to choose from. Great spot to hangout.

No one can ever go wrong with a good old Weatherspoon. Went for drinks and dinner with friends and as usual never disappointed. Drinks are not too expensive albeit fewer choices but worth it all the way. We ordered starters, pizza and katsu curry. Curry was hit dry and needed a bit more sauce. Best location, service and buzzing with people so felt really lively Good place for a night out if on budget.

Though it’s chain stores, it’s reliable (food quality, drinks variety and environment) and price is affordable. It located in a beautiful historical building just right opposite to the Windsor castle. You can enjoy the view no matter sitting outside or indoor. Highly recommend.

Came here for breakfast after travelling down south for a meeting. The pub was quiet, I ordered via the app and was greeted by a lovely gentleman. Not sure if he was the manager. During my time there everyone I encountered was polite, professional and attentive with their service. The breakfast was lovely too. Such a great setting with Windsor Castle to look out at, and the sun shining through the windows of the pub. I would definitely return here again.

The best place to eat in Windsor if you don't want to spend too much but still want to inpres friends and family with good views and good food. The staff has always been helpful, but the highlight is definitely the fact that there is plenty of seating. If you're lucky to get a table upstairs, it definitely has a great view of the castle, but the back seating in the conservatory bit is also great, and it's usually more quiet and calm.

Certainly one of the better Wetherspoon pubs. Very clean though out including the toilets. Staff very friendly and regularly clearing tables even though it was very busy. Food is what you’d expect from an spoons however service was quick and food was hot. Security staff on the door were also very friendly and welcoming.

We are visiting Windsor for the weekend, we had drinks in the bar Saturday evening and breakfast Sunday morning. We really like Wetherspoons and always look to see if there is a spoons around when we go away, you can’t beat the value for money it offers. The King & Castle was clean, spacious and all the staff friendly and helpful, the drinks are a great price and our breakfast muffins delicious. The pub is in the heart of Windsor, it’s busy with a fabulous view. I would recommend and I would return if we come back to Windsor.

Wetherspoons pub on the hill outside Windsor Castle. A large traditional pub based on three floors, with a good sized pub garden at the rear of the building. A bit more expensive than neighbouring Wetherpoon's branches in Slough and Staines but still cheaper to eat and drink than most other places in Windsor. Stopped in for a pint of 'Rocking Rudolph' beer, which was in good condition @ £3.22 a pint.

Went for brunch, the veggie English breakfast was amazing and very good quantity. Fish and chips was great taste too. Food was served in at around 10-15mins.

Don't be deceived that it looks full when you first walk in, there are plenty of other tables both upstairs and downstairs. Just had a light lunch of a BBQ Chicken, Bacon and Cheddar Cheese Panini, with an included drink, which was excellent value. There is the option to have it with either chips or salad depending on how you feel on the day. The app works really well too, and even better if there is a queue at the bar. The staff were really quick to deliver the food and drink and also to clear the tables when someone left.

Oh my god - never again. We have ordered food and they told us 45 minute waiting time - okay. Everything fine. After 90 minutes without any meal, we asked how long we have to wait.. answer „the kitchen prepare food for four floors“ - okay. And how long should I have to wait? ….. The burger were cold, but tasty. That’s the reason for 1 star. Have a great stay - but not at „the kings & the castle“

Spacious pub diner with plenty of tables on all three floors. Typical large menu of good food and range of beers, wines and spirits at very competitive pricing. Friendly efficient staff and the app ordering system is very fast and efficient. A great place for a drink, snack or meal when visiting wonderful Windsor.

Staff and service was perfect. My favourite BBQ Chicken Melt was delicious. If you want some tasty grub, get to a Wetherspoons.

Typical spoons neat tidy, cheap drinks and quick service, downside air conditioning when it was not warm in the evening and you can't sit upstairs as cordoned off not sure why. Abbot ale nocezand had a cheeky gin which was nice. Nice location right by the river.

Great breakfast half the price of elsewhere. Free coffee top ups, good and quick service, opposite Windsor castle with castle views.what more do you need :) also do a freedom breakfast which is ok for non severe Gluten free intollerancies.

The pub is nice and in a great location with a lovely view of the castle. The food is OK but we didn’t enjoy it as much as other Wetherspoon pubs. There are great drinks but some are out of stock so we couldn’t order our favourite drinks and had to choose a different brand we don’t even like.

Went there for lunch today. A busy Sunday lunchtime but we got a table, the app worked well, food came in good time (especially as it was very busy) and staff were excellent. All for under £22 for 2 burgers and drinks in Windsor town center with a view of the Castle. The food was good rather than excellent, but at that price and location? Worth 5 stars.

Really nice spoons. Has three floors and the garden is huge. Only real downside is the amount of stairs really. The price is a little higher than that of your average spoons but it's a fancy one right outside the castle, so is expected.
