3/5 sk Q. 8 years ago on Google
There
was
ample
seating
inside
(but
not
ample
parking
outside)
and
the
best
church
choir
in
the
balcony
singing
like
angels.
However,
3
strange
things
struck
me
as
weird.
1.)
The
area
near
the
bathrooms
is
under
construction.
Yesterday
the
water
was
flowing.
Today
the
water
was
not
flowing
and
the
stench
from
2
of
the
3
ladies
toilets
were
full
of
solid
waste
(poop)
was
awful.
They
need
a
restroom
attendant
at
all
times.
2.)
I
did
like
the
multimedia
approach:
placing
hymns,
scriptures
and
names
on
the
walls
for
all
to
see.
However,
all
the
church
members
and
visitors
were
singing
in
the
local
language
and
English
at
the
same
time.
This
was
not
pleasing
to
the
ears.
3.)
And
finally,
the
pastor
on
both
days
requested
for
extra
monies
to
finish
the
building
project
that
they
have
started.
He
came
down
to
the
front
to
be
closer
to
the
congregants.
He
started
with
20ghs
and
people
came.
HE
went
to
10ghs
and
people
came.
He
went
to
5ghs
and
people
came
etc.
On
today,
he
started
at
50ghs
and
a
lady
came
and
the
preachers
(numbering
6
who
were
seated
behind
him
all
came
one
by
one),
then
he
called
20ghs
and
people
came.
He
called
10ghs
and
people
came.
I
find
this
practice
to
be
in
poor
taste.
I
don't
know
why
certain
churches
are
putting
persons
on
the
spot
by
calling
out
denominations
of
money.
Is
this
right??
Am
I
wrong???
I
am
mystified
by
this
practice
of
fund-raising
in
God's
name
to
finish
a
building
project.
Why
not
just
call
for
a
fourth
offering
and
stop
with
this
'calling
of
Cedi
notes'?
Isn't
this
just
putting
persons
into
categories?
What
is
the
point?
Just
ask
for
another
offering
and
pass
the
hat.
Simple.
Or
better
yet
don't
take
advantage
of
church
members
(who
the
majority
are
females)
or
visitors.
