    Very impressed with this place! We arrived behind a sports team and their parents. We braced ourselves for quite a wait to get checked in, but the young man at the desk was extremely efficient and had everyone checked in quickly. I overheard a lot of compliments at how well he did his job. Our room was clean and bigger than I expected. Highly recommend this hotel!

    My go to when in town 3 times a year. Pros and cons at this location. Everything went well this time. Always plenty of parking. Easy to find and get into. Young lady up front was friendly. Checked in quickly ( I forgot to pre check online). Room was clean. The free morning breakfast was as expected. Unfortunately there seems to always be a catch at this location. Son wasn't thrilled that the pancake machine was broke again! This location hasn't always been up to par in the past. Let's hope they can keep it going positive for the future.

    We had booked a block of 40 rooms for our upcoming wedding, so that many or our guests could stay at the hotel. After filling out the information with the manager, we were told that he will fill out the rest of the forms and get back to us. After 2 weeks we had called down there to just touch base with them and make sure everything was moving along, but did not get a hold of him. Over the next few weeks we had called multiple times, just to leave a message because no one would ever get back to us. After finally being able to talk to the same person again, we were informed he had forgot to fill out our paper work and gave the block of 40 rooms to another couple getting married on the same day. So now just months before our wedding we are not about to have a hotel for all of our wedding guests to stay at. Thank you Holiday Inn Winona for the poor hotel management, and the worst service that a hotel could ever offer. We have 40 families that give hotel a 1 star review, and recommending that you drive anywhere else to find a hotel.

    Surprisingly clean and new, especially for the price. Not sure about other floors, but the 4th floor was nearly brand new, and the rooms are huge! Had a living room with a pull out couch connected to the bedroom with 2 beds. Both rooms had big screen TVs. Definitely better than expected, and some of the photos on google maps are outdated. Breakfast was clean and well organized, and the food was good. Only stayed for one night, but wouldn’t be mad if I had to stay longer.

    Nice Hotel. Friendly staff. The room was very clean and certainly big enough. Bathroom was functional and the shower was nice. My only complaint was that the beds were too hard. Certainly would stay here again.

    Stayed with wife & 2 kids in a 1 bedroom suite. PROS: - Comfortable - Clean - Quiet (we were on the 1st floor but had no disturbances. Walls seem to be thick) - Appears fairly new - Breakfast was well stocked and had actual meat! - Pool and hot tub are very nice - Bathroom had an exhaust fan (important!) - Bedroom HVAC has an optional "fan on" all night long. (important for steady background noise) CON: We had a "1 King Bed Suite Sofa Bed." W had an actual separate bedroom with a closing door. HOWEVER, apparently the person who decided to make the door without a lock and with a large window in the door with a thin curtain has never actually stayed in a hotel with kids! Why do you think parents want a seperate bedroom??? PRIVACY! Should be replaced with a standard, opaque door that locks. (Lots of hotels have this) Otherwise, it was great! Would go back.

    This hotel was absolutely fantastic, I have no complaints. It was very clean, staff were very kind and accommodating, pool area was perfect, breakfast was fresh and delicious with good variety, and the bathrooms even had TV's in them. It really felt like this hotel goes above and beyond for the cost, and that seems rare nowadays.

    I have gone to a couple other hotels in town while visiting family and had horrible experiences, with that being said this place hit the mark. The room was clean and tidy, the staff exceptionally friendly, the pool and hot tub clean, and the continental breakfast was well kept and constantly being filled. The hospitality workers were so sweet and did well each day. I never saw a single issue in our multiple day stay. I will be coming back. The view from the room was great, getting to see sugar loaf while in our room was a pleasant treat.

    Very nice clean hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower had good pressure. Breakfast was good and hot. We would stay there again

    Spotless, spacious rooms. The entire hotel seems to have been renovated recently. Walking past other rooms I noticed some rooms had doorbells. Most had generic handicap access verbiage on it, and one had an audio-visual doorbell. Pool was nice and also had a sauna. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Breakfast started at 7 on weekends and 6:30 on weekdays.

    My daughter had a room block for her wedding guests at the Holiday Inn. The staff at the check-in desk acted as if I was an imposition when I tried to talk to them. Totally NOT accommodating and NOT helpful. One of our guests lost their room because they overbooked the hotel, even though the guests were provided multiple confirmation emails. When I tried to deliver 6 (yes only 6) gift bags for our quests - with their names on the gift bags, I was told that the manager liked to be notified in advance (totally get this) but they refused to get the manager so I could have a conversation with them. I took the gift bags back with me and our guests didn't get them unfortunately. Do not recommend this hotel at all for wedding blocks. They are unresponsive, treat you like you're an imposition and very poor customer service. It would have been nice to have been able to have a discussion about the gift bags with the manager but that wasn't even an option. I won't ever stay here when visiting Winona and I passed that message on to all our wedding guests regarding future stays. Nonexistent customer service.

    Friendly and quick check-in and check-out. All staff were courteous. Enjoyed the adjustable shower head with the misting feature! The bathroom TV in our suite was a nice touch. The only suggestion I have is that the problematic pancake machine should be replaced with a couple of waffle irons.

    No breakfast on Sat and Sunday breakfast was after 7. Not GOOD when you have a tee time. 6:30 other days No hot water for tea. Low water pressure Checking fellow was very helpful and knowledgeable.

    May or may not stay here again. Noisy. Dead bugs in ceiling light fixture. Not the cleanest. No soap. Disappointing.
