This restaurant is great! We all know its hard to find good, cheap and authentic food downtown, but I FOUND IT! I always get the special of the day on my lunch break, my favorite is the chicken souvlaki. I have been here a million times and I always get fantastic service. The prices are cheap and reasonable. I highly recommend stopping in, you won't be disappointed!

The food here is really delicious and insanely inexpensive. Everything I have tried from breakfast to gyros has been amazing. But the best part is the people. Owner Thomas and his staff make a point to know everyone’s name. It really makes you feel at home. It has become one of my favorite spots in Winston by far.

My wife and I were traveling through Winston-Salem and came across the courtside Café. The people are very friendly, especially Thomas and his mom. I recommend it highly. The food is very good and the service is great.

This place is great. Food is awesome, different home cooked meals on special each day. Not to many options in the area of downtown that is as affordable as this. So much food for the money. You can spend 10 dollars a cheep burger place or get a real at of food here. The specials come with 2 sides. They have deserts also. Drinks separate. Highly recommend this place

What a wonderful little restaurant! This morning we had breakfast there for the third time this week, and again it was delicious. The staff is so friendly and knows many people by name. They are also happy to be there and work very well together. Do yourself a favor and have breakfast and/or lunch there soon.

My friends and I just grabbed lunch to go from here to eat at the park nearby. The food is amazing, made fresh to order. Great taste and quality. I love that it’s a family-run business that goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. We just happened to walk by this place because a place we wanted to go to was closed for the Thanksgiving holiday and decided to give it a try. I would definitely come here again and recommend this place to more people I know. The staff were amazing and made it feel like home inside. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes and the desserts!

**Amazing Southern-Style Breakfast, With Plenty of Smiles and Laughs!** I recently traveled to Winston-Salem for the first time, which put me on the hunt for a good breakfast spot. After looking around for a while, I landed on a highly rated, and convenient downtown location - Courtside Cafe! As I walked in, I was greeted with smiles from not only employees, but customers too! Everyone was happy, extremely friendly, and I could tell that this place had a lot of “regulars”. I ordered two scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, and French toast…it was DELICIOUS. The coffee…DELICIOUS. I’ve been back three days in a row. I left the first, second, and third time with a smile on my face. They called me by name, and everyone I spoke with seemed very genuine. It has been a wonderful experience each time.

Had breakfast at courtside while I was in town for the National Black Theatre Festival. The food and the hospitality were both wonderful. I highly recommend if you are downtown Winston-Salem

I'm new to working in Winston and this is my new Favorite place. I would eat here 7 days a week if I could. Reasonably priced and AMAZING food!! A must visit if you are in downtown Winston Salem!!

The courtside Cafe maybe one of the best kept secrets in Winston-Salem. The food here is tremendous, the atmosphere is casual, and the owners and staff are phenomenal. Thomas, the owner, is a genuinely nice person who takes time to talk. Since my first visit, I've become a regular, and I plan on being one for a long time. Great job courtside Cafe.

Courtside Cafe is a hidden gem in downtown Winston Salem. A very popular breakfast and lunch spot. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! The menu has everything from salads to comfort food. I have tried almost everything. My favs are the chicken biscuit, chicken and dumplings, Mediterranean wrap, and the buffalo chicken salad. An awesome lunch spot with delicious food. Tom and his staff are the best!

I work in the building connected to Courtside Cafe. I have been here about three weeks and have eaten at CC almost every weekday since moving in. The food is delicious, fast, the service is always friendly (even at the busiest of times), the restaurant is clean, very affordable, and any place that lists banana pudding as a vegetable, HAS to be awesome, right? Seriously, this place is fantastic. I try to balance between breakfast and lunch, nearly every day. Thanks to the Straits family and staff for being here and being amazing. And don't forget "Mama's Greek Desserts!!"
