They don't have a lunch buffet but do have a lunch menu. The food was amazing. Very authentic Indian food. I had Korma with Paneer and it was so good and warm and comforting.

A superior dining experience. The food is amazing authentic Indian cuisine served in an atmosphere that straddles the line expertly between comfortable and tasteful. The pricing is reasonable and the food is worth every penny. For those individuals who prefer vegetarian fare, the selection is quite respectable. Many Indian restaurants won't compromise on spice level, which often makes the cuisine inaccessible to many Americans. Here, one can choose one of five spice levels, allowing everyone to enjoy the meal in comfort. The service is above average and the owner often greets the guests at table and inquires about the dining experience. This is a stop you'll want to make when you visit Winston-Salem.

We had a wonderful dinner on the fourth of July! The chicken biryani and lamb korma were very flavorful and portions were generous. More than we could possibly eat. 5 stars! So far, the best Indian cuisine we've tried in NC.

This is by far some of the best Indian food I've ever eaten and definitely the best in Winston-Salem. It is really easy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free diets here. If you aren't sure ask your server or for their special menus. I've never had anything here that wasn't great, but I especially like the Korma and Pakora.

This place is very authentic and i bring my Indian customers here. Great selections, my favorite is the chicken korma, tons of complex flavors with harmony. Service is always spot on, attentive but never in the way.

It was expensive and had very nice decoration. Great for large parties. This last was my third and last time I will eat here, though. I asked for a side of Saag in addition to my 21 $ Lamb curry, and I was told they only have full-size portions of Saag. I determined that the server apparently didn't want me to spend more money here, as they did not want to accommodate a half portion request. My food was good enough but no better than other, less expensive Indian restaurants in the area. The other Indian restaurants seemed friendlier and appreciated by patronage more.

Very soothing atmosphere. Music softly playing, lights dimmed but not too much. Beautiful embroidery beadwork on the walls. The staff was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The ordered a meat tray appetizer since I wasn't too hungry. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The lamb melted in my mouth and tasted wonderful. My son's got the curry. Chicken medium spicy, lamb hot spicy. Both smelled wonderful. My son's birth agreed that the hot was the way to go and could probably have done with a bit more spice. I on the other hand found the medium just right, not hot and not bland. Very tasty and satisfying meal. My only complaint is I wish they had a larger selection of beer. We enjoyed it and will be back again.

Amazing food. The portion of food is fair for the price. The interiors are nicely done. The owner/ manager and staff are very friendly and make sure we enjoy the food experience there. Definitely will go back. Highly recommend.

We were just on a road trip through the state and decided to stop here and I've never been so happy with a decision like this one. Not my first Indian restaurant but I can tell you it's the very best one I've ate at as a person who frequently eats Indian food, the manager was very hospitable and was conversating with everyone. I highly recommend you give it a try, I had the jumbo shrimp coconut curry and my wife had one of the vegetarian options, their iced Chai tea is unmatched filled with flavor...idk I wish I could just take the restaurant with me lol I don't even write reviews but I really enjoyed it and wanted to share my experience with you.

1st let me say food was delicious. However, the lunch portion was ridiculous for the price. I ordered the shrimp and salmon. I received 2 shrimps and the size of my salmon was my thumb size. 20 bucks.. I was I had taken a photo before diving in, but I was hungry. Would not recommend for lunch. Hope dinner portions are better.

Beautiful indian restaurant in a central location, close to Publix and Whole Foods. Clean and tasetfully decorated, with hand sanitizer on every table. Quick and friendly service. They have a wide variety of dishes including vegan and vegetarian options.

The food was good, although not really authentic taste. I wouldn’t call myself an expert for Indian food, but this is the feedback from my colleagues, with a bigger knowledge. For me was just somehow similar taste for different dishes, as they used same sauce everywhere. It was also prepared too fast.

I have been craving butter chicken and it doesn’t seem there’s that much in WS. Nawab helped satisfy that craving - their butter chicken sauce was VERY good! However watch out for the chicken, it had a lot of hard, fatty parts and I did find bone still in 2 pieces. I am also disappointed in the amount of naan for the price - half a piece of garlic naan for $4 seems unfair. Good food however I don’t think $20+ for one meal is worth it. I did update my review as I ate more, I continued to find more and more fatty pieces. It almost seems as they broke apart a rotisserie chicken and tossed it in butter chicken sauce. You’re better off traveling a little further for better food rather than this restaurant.

We are ordered goat and chicken Briyani and tasted okay. The portions were decent and the flavors were decent, but nothing too extraordinary.

  • 3/5 Chris H. 8 months ago on Google
The food is nothing spectacular. The Korma was like water with only a few pieces of chicken, maybe 1 breast at best, 7 bite sized chunks. The flavor was ok. The garlic naan had none garlic. All in, it was overpriced and underwhelming.

Great place to come have Indian food. The service was okay a little slow, and there weren't many people that were there that night. Loved the atmosphere and decor very high end and very inviting. The food was good. I have had way better, only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a five plus service. The food is really good, not great, like 10/10. The meat was a little overcooked and harder to eat than the ones I had in Fort collins. I would definitely go back, though, because it's a great place to take a date

Love coming here - the atmosphere is warm and tranquil, the food is absolutely delightful, and one meal is easily large enough to share for lunch / early dinner. I wholeheartedly recommend the paneer tikka masala, the rosemary naan (if you love rosemary, I do!), the garlic naan (ditto), the vegetable samosas, and the mango lassi. I have not been for their Sunday brunch since the pandemic, but I remember it fondly from pre-pandemic days as well!

It was a horrible experience. The server was very rude while serving the food. And the food was very bad quality and very bad taste. Chicken achari , paneer kadhai and rogan josh is what we ordered and it was all left as it is on the table after tasting. And the people in the restaurant were very unwelcoming and rude. Avoid wasting your money guys!!

This food makes me happy 😄 the food is delicious and the portions are large, the price for the quality of the food is very cheap; the atmosphere is relaxing and the waiters are so kind and warm.

We enjoyed our dinner here very much. The staff was extremely freindly. The food however was a bit overpriced compared to other Indian cuisine restaurants we have been to. The table is set up with plates and glasses already there. We took our children of 14 & 10. Smaller children might not be suited for this place as it can be a bit more fancy and things could be knocked over from the table. There is also no child's menu as we could find. Restrooms were clean.

Nawab is the best Indian restaurant in North Carolina. We drive from Raleigh when we’re craving it, and it’s our go-to restaurant before we run endurance races. The ambiance is warm, the restaurant is clean, and the staff is PHENOMENAL. Rajesh is often our waiter and knows our order by heart. Everyone who works here is very kind and personable. Would highly recommend!

My mom and I came here for lunch today and it was soo good! It was our first time trying Indian cuisine and we were pleased! The service was great from all staff, a gentleman, which I assume was the manager, checked on us multiple times to make sure we enjoyed the food and he also took the time to explain how the food was made and what was in it since it was out first time trying it. We definitely enjoyed it and will be back for more! I highly recommend coming here, great atmosphere, great service, and great food!

I traveled to Winston Salem to meet a friend for lunch and picket out the restaurant after a quick google search! The service was a little slow, but the atmosphere was pleasant with interesting art and lovely table settings. The dishes were very good and the staff very pleasant. Definitely recommend.

Best Indian food in the triad area! My husband and I eat here regularly and always try new entrees and we have never been disappointed with the quality, flavor or taste of our meals. Great food, reasonable price, friendly staff and management. If you haven’t given this place a try, you definitely should!

I came in for lunch by myself and I had a really uncomfortable experience with the man who said he was the manager. He repeated my name and commented on it when I gave him my ID. He sat down at my table and called me beautiful many times and tried to ask me out. I told him I had a girlfriend which made him uncomfortable. I tried to redirect the conversation to something else but he just kept coming back to talking about how I looked. I put down cash to leave and he kept trying to get me to stay, he asked me for a hug as I left and followed me out the door. I declined, and he tried again to get me to stay. I was incredibly uncomfortable, I only wanted to eat my food in peace. The food was good, though.
