We've lived in Winter Garden for about a year now and just discovered this park. It is now our new go-to place for some time outdoors. The wildlife is great. There are tons of birds as well as alligators and fish. You can enjoy a walk along the edge of the lake or down one of the docks. If you have kids, there is a playground at one end with restrooms. The playground is in excellent condition. If you're able to stop by for a sunset, it is totally worth it! The only problem I have is the trash in the lake. It's so sad. If I had a pool net or something similar, I would get it out myself.

Nice lakeside park in Winter Garden. Shame the lake is still not viable for fishing and boating. Sad story of a conservation effort delayed and facts of the effects of runoff pollution ignored for decades while the local economy based on fishing tanked. Nice place for a picnic, interesting history, good playground and bathrooms.

This park is phenomenal! I love that it’s shaded by beautiful oak trees and it has a nice breeze from the lake. The playground equipment looks new with fresh mulch, too. Lots of different areas to play including swings and monkey bars, as well as pavilion areas with picnic tables.

Love this park! It has the best sunset views over the water. There’s an open grass field to play in. A cute little bridge over the water and a dock which both make for great pictures! The playground is my family’s personal favorite though. Many swings, twirly top toys and many sized slides.

Our "family spot" for sunsets and gator spotting. Perfect days end here. The playground is brand new and huge. There are plenty of benches, walkways, shade, and sunny green fields. There is something here to delight just about anyone.

❤️ Love me a drive to the Lake with a park. If it's a beautiful scenery with water, like a Lake, River or an Ocean. I am there! This particular spot has many good memories for me. I can come back and it's like I was there yesterday. It's a mini national geographic scenery here. You can see beautiful birds , tiny fishes, turtles and alligators. It has a pier with benches for sitting and fishing. A ramp for boats or jetskies. A public olympic size outdoor pool. A playground with clean restrooms. A club house for rental venues like weddings and a mini club house for smaller gatherings like birthdays. It's view of the lake is breath taking as you see the sunset off the lake. Absolutely beautiful Lake Apopka. 😍 This place will always have a special spot in my heart ❤️ years later, I'm so glad I remembered this spot. ❤️

Great park for sunsets! It’s clean and cute. Sometimes can be a little packed when events are happening since it’s a smaller park. Overall great experience!

I was visiting family and we had an event there. The pavilion was booked. It was large space. It even allowed for social distancing. The public bathroom is about a 2 minute walk from the pavilion. Suggestion:rent one of the two building venues as well so you have closer access to lavatory facilities. The park is beautiful; it sits on the water, boating is allowed. The park is perfect for an intimate wedding.b

Pleasant and memorable sunset location. If you are planning for an evening chill out with family, then it would be a great destination. It has a small pier where you can get a lovely sunset. There are few birds and gators nearby the lake area—a safe and clean place. Ample space is available for parking. Restroom facilities are not available for this place. Also, I don't see any restaurants nearby this place. Great weekend spot.

Beautiful little park. Play grounds, bathroom, fishing pier and paved paths to walk. Dog friendly. This park is kept very clean. Love the locks along the fence on the water 🥰

Gorgeous and peaceful with so many benches and structures to take in the view. A hidden gem with an incredible view of Lake Apopka especially at sunset. There is a public boat launch, it is dog friendly with a nice playground, and clean bathrooms.

Super great to catch some 'gators! I'm a tourist and my local friends told me this place was guaranteed to find some and they were right! I saw three and we were only there for less than 30m

Absolutely beautiful, with the exception of it being a dying lake full of algae. Great place too watch the sunset.

A nice quiet place to reflect. Very unfortunate that the lake is polluted. The birds are pretty and vocal. We rode our rented bikes here through quiet residential neighborhoods. Boardwalk was closed for repairs. Still a vibe tho.
