We took the family out for dinner around 8:30pm and it was a very friendly environment. Our waitress greeted us and the kids with a very big smile. She was very good with the kids and kept them laughing. I will be returning thanks to the staff and the cook. I’m not sure, but I think the cook name was Earl. The Food was picture perfect also hot and fresh. The waitress made sure our cups stayed full. Our waitress Ms.T made us feel right at home. We will be returning thanks to the Denny’s Team….

Service was speedy for a Monday and the food was fantastic. Me and my sis’ server Kyle was great and his Cook Ray did and an excellent job! For $125 we had a great experience. I’ll be back - Terminator.

I walked into this deserted wasteland known as Denny's barren of people 3a.m vibes for sure. Not that that's a bad thing quite the opposite, the elevator music or annoying game menu music kept me just from the brink of sanity, repetitive yet smooth like jazz. My waiter Kyle greeted me in what felt like a 60s black and white detective style smile. Or so it seemed because of the atmosphere, we were sat promptly and right away got our drinks, service and then he asked if we were ready to order and I obliged, I asked for my usual Crazy Spicy Sizzlin' Skillet. Which came out in no less then 20 minutes. Service that was actually freaky fast, I've spent longer waiting in a McDonald's line. The plate was placed in from of me, full, covered in sauce, you know when you go to a good wing place and they wet you're wings giving you all that good sauce, same here, Kyle had the cook put only the best on my plate. The aroma enticed me probably the best I've seen the meal look. And Kyla had smiled and said enjoy your meal knowing damn well he just gave me 5 star service.

I've rarely given 5 stars for everything but Tondalaya and her team were on it today and deserve all of the stars!! We were greated and seated right away and we felt like we were missed by the team even though it had been a long time since we've been here. The food was hot fresh and mouth watering!! Especially the cinnamon roll pancakes, Holy Moly!! We will definitely return soon. Thank you

Awful!!! Took about 2 min to get seated. Hopeful. Drinks took about 5 min to order and then about 10 to come out. Not horrible. Then put the order for food in. This is when the real terror begins. We sat and waited. There’s were others around. The table behind complained about 20 min into the wait for food that they had been waiting an hour. Not good. They got their food within 10 min. We waited. Another table two down got their food but the order was wrong. They ate what they got since the wait was over an hour. Then when they went to pay, the manager started saying she couldn’t correct it since it was cashed out and blaming it on the waitress as she was new. Continued making excuses to this and other customers that the kitchen staff was new. Meanwhile the to go orders were leaving at a regular pace. We waited an hour and 20 min for our food. The food was undercooked. We ate and were relieved to be released from our breakfast nightmare. We made the mistake of not reading reviews prior to going. The problem is not solely because of the new staff but rather poor management. Avoid this location at all costs!

Caution!!!! Please stop by a different Denny’s. They take more than 50 minutes in bring your order on a empty store. Do not eat here. In addition, the air conditioner was off. It was hot inside the store and they charged almost $15 dollars for waiting 73 minutes without breakfast. We ended up getting up and leaving the store.

We had Kyle as our waiter and our cook. Our food was full and he was very kind and on top of things. This is the best Denny's I've been to in a long time. I recommend it to everyone. It was clean and the cooks made mine and my husbands food quickly and amazingly. They cooked my food within 10 minutes of me ordering, with a Sizzling Skillet on our order, it was amazing. Constantly giving us refills on our drinks. It was a fantastic experience.

It took 40 min. From time of order to get food. When did come they didn't have any clean silverware so they gave us plastic. The food was hot and good when we got it but the table of 7 next to us was cussing like a sailor about the time it took for their food to come and the cook that cooked it. They sent back steak 3 times. There were a lot of empty tables in the restaurant? Not real busy.

11/10/23 I had an excellent experience my drink was on thetable before i even ate. And no there is no more carpet. They are the best denny's ever! Before Though they didn't have alot of staff present they were still quick on their waitresses coming to great me and getting me seated and having my order done. I had requested a costume of the country fried chicken breakfast. Normally I don't get it cause everywhere else I get it it is usually so dry and hard. However they brought it out with the sides I chose and it all looked delicious. It was and so much more. The chicken was nice and juicy and tender... so much so I had only used a spoon to cut it into the right sized. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you for the best experience and I hope to order it again soon!😁

This was the worst experience we have had at a Denny's. The server never apologized for the order taking almost an hour to arrive, the accuracy of my order I particular was not 100%, and no refills were offered. To begin, the restaurant was a little busier than usual, but not packed like pre-COVID years. I went in with my free birthday coupon since it falls on this month. You get a Triple Double Slam. It comes with two pancakes, two eggs (any style), and bacon or sausage. I asked to upcharge my pancakes to the chocobanana flavor. It was $3 more. My wife wanted cinnamon pancakes, so she went with that combo. Being vegetarians we asked them if they could swap out the meat for at least a biscuit and they said meat can only be subbed for meat, and potatoes for potatoes. Well we said, just don't serve the bacon. They got my wife's correct with no bacon, but decided to leave mine on. I didn't eat it. Our sever never apologized for this or the fact that it took over 40 minutes for the food to arrive! It is not like we were sitting at a packed Disney World restaurant, where a long wait is expected. The only good thing that came out of this was the food was tasty and most of it was hot, like the eggs. The pancakes were a little warm, but still were delicious.

We went in for breakfast super delicious and quick service. Manager was multitasking she sat us quickly, served us drinks, and took our order without writing anything down. It was all perfect! Thanks for great service 🤩

Carolyn was our waitress and did not come once to our table Rae the cashier brought our food out and helped us like she was our waitress I recommend her she is so nice Carolyn got our order wrong and Rae took it back to get the pancakes cooked with chocolate chips and the cook gave her this she said the cooks name is Greg yeah he needs training or go somewhere else bc look what they gave us smh I had to put this in the reviews now you know the food is good here it’s just who they hire thank you dennys for taking care of us we still love you

Food was great and the service was even better. Jackie did an amazing job taking care of me and my sister when we came in for brunch, and we’d love to have her as our server again!

We were blessed to have Ms T greet us with her beautiful big smile as soon as we walked in to the Denny’s at Winter Haven, Florida. She took great care of us. Excellent service and very attentive to us and all her tables. Very nice experience! Highly recommended!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I have to say I had a really poor experience here. The food tasted great, but that's the only good thing from this. We had a rude server who was really quick and dry with us and only took our order and never came back (note: it was not busy at this time), and the price of drinks was INSANE. I went with my partner person who got the veterans day plate for free, and I got the country fried steak which was good, but the drinks were really weak (watered down?) and almost $5 a normal sized glass. The orange juice tastes exactly like McDonald's, but for 2-2.5x, the price! Keeping in mind that my partner had her plate free, my plate, 1 Orange juice 1 Apple Juice, and 2 waters ended up being $32 plus the tip. When we went to get the bill, another staff was chatting with a co-worker and I had to wait for a few minutes for her and she was still short with me, left before I got to ask for a to go box and I had to flag her down again. Maybe it's just bad staff that ruined it, but the price was definitely excessive for the quality, which, although the food was decent; was NOT a $30+ meal.

Ms.T was cool. Great service, the food was great and she took such great care of us. Coming back forsure. She kept my coffee full and checked on us often. The atmosphere has improved so much since the last time I came. Thanks to Ms.T.

Our server Ms. T was wonderful! She brought us everything we needed before we even asked. Topped off our coffee regularly and had a smile on her face the whole time. Great atmosphere while we ate.

Always a pleasure to come here. I’ve come to this location many times, but Rae stood out to me when she helped us and was very accommodating and kind. She was very quick with getting our food and drinks. I have also noticed great improvement since the current manager Andrew took over. He even came over to check on our table to make sure we got everything we needed. This is definitely a location that stands out. Would highly recommend 😊

It had been awhile since we had been to this Dennys. I was impressed with the changed. First of all the place was so much cleaner. The window ledges were clean and the floors cleaned often. The staff was amazing and the young manager came over to make sure everything was fine. I wish I could remember his name. Definitely improved and we will be back more often now. Great job. Oh yeah the food was very good.

Stopped here on Christmas Eve, My mom and I were the only ones ordering food the place was empty. I ordered cheeseburger with bacon and fries. My mom ordered pancakes, eggs and bacon. I paid extra for bacon on my burger and got nothing but bread ,cheese and burger, no lettuce no pickles and no bacon. My fries were burnt. My moms pancakes were rubbery and also burnt. Eggs stuck together and rubbery . I can’t believe that there serving this standard of food with there new higher prices. Definitely need a new cook, I can cook better than yours can. On a bright note the waitress was really nice and friendly. Definitely not eating here again

order food online and when I called the store to speak to the manager and she told me that she packed my food and it was not burnt. She implied that I was lying.

The service was quick and our waiter Kyle was great! He took our orders in a professional way and made my family and I feel at home. Food was fresh and delicious, definitely recommend and kudos to Kyle! He deserves a bonus and raise!

I use to come here rather often, and it was pretty good. Now that I’m back I see that there’s not. Much business but the food and such is the same. The service was great too. Even though the lobby was rather quiet, I was still impressed my food was out in 10 minutes and I ordered a good deal. The night chef is amazing. The server I had was great too! I missed her name but she had reddish hair with blonde in it. My drink was always full and she wasn’t overbearing yet still checked on us. I hope to see the night staff around. It’ll keep me coming back! (Wish there was silverware though. We just got plastics.)

Workers here are lovely. Great experience my meal was amazing. I had immediate service and my table worker made sure I had everything I needed. Nothing was missed couldn’t have had a better experience will be returning. Workers here are all deserving of tips and large ones at that. Just lovely people. Especially one person there name was Felicity they were truly a strong asset to the place and made the place just that little bit more comfortable.

Called to place a Togo said they only do curbside so after deciding that was fine called back again and spoke to Jason who said we can do Togo but the same girl took the phone from him and now said we can only place it online… I don’t know any place you can’t place a Togo order over the phone. Seemed like she just didn’t want to take our order given she took the phone from a guy who said we could and I’ve placed multiple orders over the phone prior to this one.

Usually try to avoid chain restaurants and wasn't expecting much but was in a rush and wanted something simple and quick. Not too bad of value for the value slam but sausage gravy was pretty bland. You can't find many cheap breakfast for $5.50 but made the mistake of not looking at drink prices and ordered an iced tea, $3.79 is ridiculous.

Seems like they need employees. Wasn't greeted when we walked in by anyone but the cook in the kitchen. There were 3 employees and just us in there for a while before another group came in and wasn't greeted either. Food was delicious and wasn't that long of a wait.

I never thought that I would work for Denny's again but I have them another try after 13 years and guess what different store same results, on my second day of work I was scheduled in the kitchen by myself regardless of my experience if you're training me to know this kitchen out somebody in scheduled so will teach me and not be sarcastic the whole freaking time making me feel uncomfortable as a manager if you can't do your job, send in someone who will... Plus I took a $5 cut in pay to work here and it's not worth it, I'm a great worker in any kitchen but if I'm not being trained properly I'm not gonna stay and that's why I left again...

This dennys in Florida Winter haven,is great if you are Hungry, The downside is that short of staff, almost had to wait 30mins & I didn't wait that long the stuff is great & I she also gabe me a free lemonade to go!!

I have always had a good experience at this location except the last time I came. We stop in a few times a year when we have appointments in that direction, and I've had my birthday grand slam there for years. It's always been that you just show your ID and get a grand slam for free on your birthday. Instead, they said I had to have an email printed out. It really put a damper on my birthday. I really don't get presents on my birthday because it's near Christmas, and I'm lucky if I get a couple from my whole family, who usually give me whatever on Christmas because it's too much trouble to stop by on my birthday, so I look at the free meal as my present on my birthday. I don't entirely blame them if them if it was corporate policy, but I probably won't be back on my birthday anymore because I don't have a way to print emails at home so I'd have to go somewhere else before breakfast to print the email. I do enjoy their food and their prices are reasonable, so I will probably be back, but probably not for my birthday.
