Wonderful place to go and walk the trail it is exactly what the name of the park says a nature park. Saw a baby alligator and rabbits,birds to name a few things that can be seen. A short walk with benches trees for shade and a restroom. A nice place to relax and get some walking in.

I went on a pretty hot day. My daughter and I walk often while helping her heal from a serious car accident. There were multiple benches throughout and covered picnic tables for shade. It is well maintained and we truly enjoyed the walk seeing turtles fish squirrels and birds. There is a wide path to share with cyclists and two trails that we didn't explore. All in all it was peaceful and I enjoyed it.

Very relaxing place to take a stroll on the weekends or afterwork

Nice little park. Was actually surprised. Had a small walk trail. Good for kiddos to run, but must keep an eye out. Only supervised due to wild life. Baby crocodiles may greet. Keep your distance. But felt nice to walk around and for free. Walking very slow a good 45 mins to an hour.

Beautiful place, quite, peaceful, secure, wheelchair accessible, clean restrooms, different trails, good to work out, to biking, good for kids, a lot of wild life. Longest trail is 1 mile. It's a passive park, no cost, no restaurants, food or beverage. It's an awesome park, but you'll see some trash around, and that's sad, because almost all trash is plastic; bad for the wildlife. I wonder if there's no personel to pick up the garbage, because of the Covid19. Even though, it's a nice place to visit. I wish the city of Winter Haven start to clean this awesome park. Highly recommended place for the family or dating. Open from sunrise to sunset.

Absolutely gorgeous park .we are very fortunate to have such a place for us to enjoy I hope all the people that go there pick up after themselves . there is a little bit of trash laying around and that's unfortunate, however that place is just beautiful. You very well might see an alligator if you never seen one before Oh, this is the place to see one.

Exemplary, Wheelchair access and paths. Birds here and there lots of squirrels.

This is a really tranquil. I would loved to everybody to visit this place. It's really nice.

The park is absolutely beautiful! The only thing that deterred us from staying longer were the amount of shady people hanging out there. As you walk deeper into the beautiful walkways and docks you quickly get nervous for your safety. I don't recommend going alone or near dusk.

Most of the park is clean with great views of the lake, forest and boardwalk. Theres a decent amount of activity stations, tree covered paths and friendly squirrels. What we didn’t like is that people’s back yards back up to parts of the park, which takes away some of its tranquility.

FISHERMAN REVIEW Plenty of fish to be seen but none will bite. Spent about 2 weeks straight everyday fishing here. Every technique you could imagine and NOTHING. You might think “well maybe you just suck at fishing.” Countless anglers also got nothing. Besides that wonderful park and trail for a mid day stroll. Plenty of wildlife. Also it has public washrooms.

Beautiful. Serene. Great walking paths. We saw baby alligators, turtles, and Talapia. Will definitely be back to this place.

Decent mile park for a walk or run. Has a pond that connects to the lake in the picture. The track runs across the road and the track is split into a quarter mile, half a mile, and the full mile.

This gem is one of the best places to visit in Winter Haven. It's clean, maintained. It features a nicely paved path for walking, biking, and has a wooden bridge with various docks for some light fishing. There is always plenty of parking and has restrooms. For dog lovers, there are provided bags for cleanup near the restrooms. Birds of all kinds can be seen, as well as turtles and rabbits. Across the main road is another dock overlooking Lake Howard, where I have spotted a gator sunbathing, and various larger and smaller birds that prefer the larger lake section. I often take the family here to walk, run, scooter and play. The kids love to roll down the "big" hill. Standing from the bridge and docks provide beautiful relaxing scenery. For train lovers, there is an Amtrak track nearby and the kids always love to stop and watch it zoom past.

I just recently moved from Hillsborough County and then I was in Pinellas County for a couple of months and I loved the amount of nature trails, beaches, disc, golf courses a long swamps and beaches, and just being in nature in general. I've been feeling cabin fever since I live and work remotely so I'm in the same house all day during the week except for trying to leave a few hours each day and find some stuff to do on the weekends and it can get pretty monotonous. My sister and I went here on a short little walk just to check it out and it was honestly really nice. It was quiet, peaceful. It was close enough to the road where you could still hear the cars by. Honestly that's to be expected. I feel like at this point. It was clean and had some very naturing color tones to it and I definitely think that will be going back in the future.

Beautiful walking trails around the outskirts of Lake Howard. Saw plenty of wildlife as I walked. Great place to have a picnic or walk your dog.

Great hidden nature spot in the midst of Winter Haven. The only wish is that the grass was cut a bit closer to the shoreline for kids fishing from the bank without getting stuck in the weeds and long grass.

Ive been going here since it first opened when I was a kid and it's a great place to walk. Just be aware there are gators in the lake/pond so watch your kids and pets. Majority of the walk has tree cover so it's nice and shady but the strip next to the road is all sun so if your furry friend doesn't have shoes, stick to one side.

I enjoy staying at this hotel. The breakfast was good, the room was very nice and clean the staff were very friendly and respectful. One problem one elevator was working and it was stopping at every floor going and coming. Other than that overall I give this hotel 10.

This is beautiful park! Paved walk and open to bicycles and skates. The path which loops around lakes, and swamps is lined with awesome tress and vegetation. This park is in the middle of Winter Haven so it is busy at lunch and on weekends but it's more than worth the trip.
