I went for the brisket and tendon dry, ( it was a big serve and I got the extra noodles for $2.50 on top of it) better than any I've had in Hong Kong and as good as I've had at Causeway Point in Singapore when I went there with Wong Sahmui many years ago⁉️👍👌first time for the pomegranate juice, not bad 👏👏👏loved it guys thanks very much.

Authentic Malaysian food. Gets busy but still reasonably quick. The kway teow was really good as was the radish cake - lo bak go. Don't forget to try the egg tarts.

Nice Hokkien mee, like the one they serve in Singapore. They serve drinks with syrup on the side so you can adjust the sweetness to your liking.

Latest edit: 15 Jun 22 - Food still amazing over the past years. Love their Fried Carrot Cake & Chicken rice. First time here due to Google reviews & Facebook recommendation from Malaysian Food Lover group... My wife & I are definitely NOT disappointed! Their Fried Carrot Cake is so tasty & authentic. Probably the best I've tasted in Perth so far 5/5. Seafood Hor Fun is pretty good too 4/5. Their hot milk tea & Cold Coffee Cham are also pretty yummy 4.5/5. Loved it. Overall I rate this place a solid 5/5. Their service are also prompt & approachable. Btw they also sell rice dumplings ($3.50 each & it's value for money 4/5), pineapple buns (3/5), egg tarts (4.5/5) & cabbage buns (haven't tried) .

I was interested in trying this place once I found out they sell cendol. The menu has more of a Hong Kong flair than a Malaysian one, particularly with the pineapple buns out in the cabinet by the entrance. They even have one filled with BBQ pork, which I also tried and liked. They have a breakfast menu which has a macaroni soup but it's only available on Saturday. I ordered from the counter and came back after doing some groceries. I ended up grabbing a wonton noodle soup as well as a Hokkien mee and a char kweh tiew. The Malaysian food was alright. It did have pork rind in it which was a pleasant surprise. I really liked their wonton noodle soup. Both the wontons and the soup had a nice fragrance and flavour. The cendol was great and refreshing, which a sweet coconut flavour, and had red bean mixed in with it. It was a nice place for food even though it's not "authentic" Malaysian.

Went to Winthrop Hawker's Cafe today and had the fish wing milky soup, Hainan chicken and laksa fish wing. Fish wing soup was nice - barramundi fish wings were fresh and very big. The Hainan chicken was excellent. Laksa was solid make sure if you want the meehoon noodle in Laksa to ask for it! Menu also attached

Have had the food here with the previous owner that was Singaporean/ Malaysian. Food was amazing and authentic; service was great. Returned after a change of owners, food is a pale imitation of what it was before. Service is reasonable, one boy was nice, but had no clue on what he was serving. The other had an attitude and was throwing our dishes onto the table. Some dishes were too salty for our liking. Rochor mee was just a bland-ish plate of noodles, where it should have been cooked in a rich prawn based stock. More Hong Kong like dishes than the advertised Singaporean/ Malaysian.

Surprisingly good Malaysian/Singaporean hawker cuisine in a local Asian diner in a suburban shopping centre. I had a chicken Curry Laksa which was very flavoursome without being overly spicy. I suppose there was an opportunity to ramp up the Scoville Score by adding sambal to the soup (which I didn't). Very generous portions of steamed chicken came with this dish. 😋 Top value for money. Soup was delicious to the last drop. A definite "must visit" the next time I'm in the area.

Dunno what those one star reviews (with only one review each? Even the guy with Japanese characters have the same surname with two of the others!) are talking about but the picture speaks for itself. Been coming here for couple of years now practically weekly and we love its CONSISTENCY. That’s what a lot of restaurants lack these days. Beef brisket noodles is my go to always and they’ve never served it tough but melt in your mouth tenderness with a hearty flavour. Highly recommended!

Love the fried radish cake which is well seasoned. Hor fun comes with half-cooked egg, which I'm not used to. The food portion is generous, definitely value for money. You can request for chilli, they have different types. The sambal chilli was more garlicky than I expected. Bright and clean atmosphere with lots of dining area.

Our first visit didn’t disappoint. The food was comparable to any quality restaurant in Singapore / Malaysia. Malay style food is strongly represented. We had a small Rendang and Roti Canai, Char Kwai Teow and Roasted Pork and rice. Every dish was cooked to perfection in a busy open kitchen. Good Roti is hard to come by in Oz but this was the best I have eaten in this country. The place was packed at 2 pm on a Friday afternoon, which speaks volumes and despite the crowd, the meals came out quickly and served by friendly staff. Reasonable prices too and BYO no corkage so every post a winner. can’t wait to go back and sample the rest of the menu. I love these sort of places, no pretence, just good food.

Food Is great- my go to is always the CKT and Laksa. But be prepared for rude customer service from the lady behind the counter. It also gets quite busy and loud. And you have to pay extra for every small addition (ie.. cut chillies, take away containers, take away bags). But food is relatively cheaper than other restaurants, so sort of justifies it

got takeaway uber eats chai tow kway and fried kway teow and wow... so beautifully authentic, the rice cakes are juicy soft and saucy, and the fried noodles are flavoured just how they should be. cool that they give you a reusable bag! I'll definitely be back to try other dishes 😍

Plenty of seating, decent portion food and taste is above average. Ordered fried fish with bee hoon soup, seafood horfun. Fried fish is great, enough for small sharing, bee hoon soup is a tad bland though. Seafood horfun, the "gravy" turns watery towards the end of the meal, seafood quantity is okay only.

Great casual restaurant that serves hawker style food from Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Prompt service. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating.

I don’t usually write reviews but ordered a roasted duck rice and had to wait in-store for over 1 HOUR !! Asked a staff member why my friend’s noodle dish came up 30 minutes earlier than my dish. Got told noodle dishes and rice dishes are prepared differently, but shouldn’t rice dishes take less time ? Looked around the store and most tables have been waiting since we arrived in-store. Lack of efficiency, never returning.

Very pleasantly surprised. Came when the new owner (from HK?) first took over. Was a little disorganised then Today's experience during the peak of the lunch hour rush was actually a very pleasant one. Staff were very prompt cleaning tables so got seated quickly. Ordering was at the counter and easy. Food we ordered had to be cooked fresh so it was a very slight wait. Importantly, the taste of the Rochor Mee was good with lots of sotong & prawns of course. Accompanying sambal was nice too Fried fish wing with bee hoon soup. The fish was fried perfectly, had lots of meat & crispy. Noodles & milky soup was a great accompaniment Char Tao Kuey was good too! Enough crispy bits thanks to the wok hey & spicy enough to give it a kick. Had asked for HOT (in a scale where SUPER HOT is the highest level of spicyness). Portions of all three dishes were generous. Will definitely come back again and so glad to have found another place to support.

Ordered Singapore Mee Hoon Combo A ,with prawns, chicken & fish cake & asked for chilli 🌶️ as none on cutlery table. Service was reasonable timing and well before the 30 minute wait time sign, but as I was sitting in the corner & couldn’t get out as I was with two other people, it would have been better for the young staff to get chopsticks for me instead of pointing in the direction of the cutlery once they brought my food. The two others on my table grabbed the serviettes, chopsticks & extra chilli by asking the front serving counter person - no chilli on cutlery table. My Singaporean Chinese friend said his beef brisket was ok but the kopi tarik was good so I ordered it to take away. My lemon tea wasn’t as flavoursome as in City Garden in Northbridge.

Food here is above average, especially for the price. I got the fried kwai teow and a pork bun on the side. The noodles were pretty good, I had them with prawn and Chinese Sausage. The pork bun was so delicious, one of the best I have had, perfect filling. Service is ok, took about 10 minutes for our food to come our. Some staff members more friendly than others. I will definitely be back for those pork buns!

We had a snack here. The egg tarts are so good! Crispy and melt-in-the-mouth crust with creamy egg centre. Yummy!
