Loved visiting this bar at the weekend! Staff are very friendly and accommodating, loads of lovely drinks to choose from and a great vibe about the place. Looking forward to going again

I knew of this place but have never visited until today. Its a very smart venue - I sat outside and enjoyed the view of the square. Good selection of craft beers and you are encouraged to sample before you buy. Gins looked interesting though I am not a gin drinker. Even the toilets were interesting and clean!

Why have I never been here before?.. Came of a morning for coffee and a breakfast snack and it was delicious. The little chocolate and blackberry biscuit dunked in coffee was lovely, I asked for another. Salmon and dill open sandwich was tasty too and the beer sticks were so nice I bought a whole packet to take home. A bowl of pickles came with the sandwich and my first experience of caper berries. Perhaps a try of some of the beers for next visit.

Good beer, but no respect for customers with kids. I asked for tap water after waiting 15 minutes in the line with my daughter and the bar tender complained about me not been in the queue.

Exceptional bar. A simply overwhelming selection of beers. Staff were so friendly and informative. I was able to taste a few beers before making my selection. Really good furniture and ambience.

Absolutley loved this place, found it by accident but will definatley be returning for one of their meat and cheese boards for lunch! Sounds delicious! Great vibe , very classy! Lots of drinks selection and fab comfy seating.... such a nice ambience. Can't wait to visit again.

Amazing selection of beers, stouts, ipas and gins. Can be a pricey round but worth it for different tastes to a "pint of lager" great staffand fun to bring your own games

Decent beer but well overpriced for the area and expect to pay London+ prices. (especially considering siren in made a couple miles away) staff seem under trained and out of their depth especially if you’re asking for a tip when you pour a pint?! Overall a nice spot outside but I think the competition for good bar staff hits hard here.

Great selection of beers and ales. Could possibly do with a few more ciders if being picky! The atmosphere was great on a Friday night, drinks are reasonably priced. One of our go-to's in Wokingham.

Great atmosphere, interesting selection of draught and bottled craft beers and gins mostly. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Dog and child friendly as well!

I have visited S&S a few times and always loved it, great food and drinks! Last week me and a few girls visited and we were approached by two older men who proceeded to buy us a round of drinks and have a chat, we were very comfortable as they were nice (not creepy for once). Even so one of the waitresses popped over and checked with us! It made me feel really safe here and I really appreciate this as I’m sure in a lot of situations someone may not feel as comfortable! Thanks so much :)

Excellent service! I was in the queue when a man asking for a glass of tap water for his daughter barged to the front of the queue! His rudeness was expertly handled and I really feel for the staff dealing with people with a strong sense of self-entitlement!

If you're hot on beer then this little gem is for you. The staff are fab and the atmosphere is always right even on a chill night. I'd go in there when I was off work last year just to read. It's peaceful when it needs to be.
